Never came across so terrible app like this one. Waited for days to get my product approved just showing pending.

The app needs to have an option of selecting which variants a merchant wants to publish to Google Shopping product listing ads. It is a very common scenario where a merchant may not want to publish all variants of a product to Google Shopping. Currently there is no workaround & that means wasted marketing dollars.

I wish I could give this app less than a 1 star. You cannot use this app and use Google Shopping Express. It over writes the shipping settings to 1-99 days!!! All Shopify would do is fill out a "frustration report." That just makes the matter worse.

Beware the app doesnt have any option to specify if the tax / GST gets added to the product price when setting the "price" attribute in the field. Google has recently made its "price" validation mandatory to check the final check out price and is disapproving feed items and eventually suspending account because of this issue. My merchant account is now suspended because my INR based site's data feed isn't including the tax amount. The app needs fixing ASAP otherwise abstain from using this app.

My impressions so far is that it works well. What I especially like is that it seems to generate a lot of first time customers for me and this is really great for future sales possibilities. It was fairly easy to setup. It would be nice if there was a little easier way to edit SKU's google shopping details other than going through it one by one.

I am shocked that this app has any bad reviews- it is free, gives you the ability to set up a smart shopping campaign that is also free, and generates ten times the revenue that any of the "google adwords specialists" that I paid thousands of dollars to ever did. Remarkably easy to set up, and has generated excellent sales in our first month that cost a fraction of what I was paying per conversion! Love it!

I don't like the fact that the number of products is limited to 10,000. I sell tools. I have nearly triple that amount of SKU's.

DEAD MONEY! NEVER ANY MORE !!! We spend £2759 - and £25 conversion. I think numbers said everything. Not recommend at all. We have bots full store, sorry Shopify / FACEBOOK / GOOGLE, but bots do not buy, bots do not have money, more we have fraudulent orders and lost £250. NOW ANY MORE!!!

We are a doll etailer. We have two sites, one on Shopify. We have always (15 years) advertised with Google, 1st with PPC text ads, then display, then shopping and now Smart Shopping. Basically Google Shopping is a way to 'buy traffic.' It works for us really well, but I believe it's because we had so many years experience before hand. The good thing about the app is its integration with the store; it is incredibly easy to put products into the feed, easy to use analytics to see if it's working for you. The bad thing is that unless you really understand how Smart Shopping works, you can have significant negative ROI very quickly. Yes, you buy traffic, but you buy it for more than they buy from you. So our advice is use the app but: pick your best selling products only - not your whole store (do you really have to advertise red tee shirts and blue tee shirts?), go to the web and search for your products and see who is next to you in the ads and what their price is, only put into your daily and monthly 'budget' what you can afford to lose, and study your analytics carefully. Our current (Xmas 2018) ROI is $5 for every $1 spent. Our budget is $20 per day. There are days google doesn't spend our whole budget.

This app has worked amazingly well for my store. Once installed it is easy to choose which products to list on shopping. I found out to optimize the SEO title which is what will show in Google. I've made over $3 for every $1 spent so far so I'm very happy. I would wish though if it was easy to see which particular products are getting the clicks so that I can optimize what products I list. I cant really tell minus what is actually selling.

Adding the Google Shopping channel has been the game changer in our business. The majority of our leads come from Google Shopping. The app is easy to use and you can add products very easily I would recommend considering Google Shopping if you are looking to bring you business to the next level.

useless and not working, I tried everything but products pending, therefore it will kill your business.

The app works well, but please can you get autocomplete categories in so we don't have to remember category numbers each time we add a product.

I used this app to get my products onto Google shopping. It helped my site to get noticed by comparing product directly. Simple and no fuss. Great if you want things handled and not care how.

Update - We had a courier on our shipping rates and Google suspended our account , so if you use standard shipping such as Canada Post or USPS then that fine but add UPS, FEDEX and that really messes the whole app up and it suspends you. Shopify need to look at this urgently So far so good! We installed this app and our revenue has increased by 11% over the same period last year. I would say it's worth installing and it does work

Cannot get any products accepted by the Google Shopping app, ZERO help available. 10 day "review" period has elapsed and no products have been approved. I would not recommend this app, the process for listing on Google is very, very complicated, IMHO.
