Perhaps because it was installed on Shopify, the HTML tag cannot be authenticated on the Google Search Console. It does not register on the site map. Tell me the solution

It kinda does the thing, but has some issues: 1) It uses UA instead of GA4. 2) When using UA, you are prompted to migrate to GA4 3) If you do it, many important Goole Ads conversions stop working, because they depend on UA at the moment. So Google is basically guiding you to break their own product atm.

The app works OK and generally functions as expected but it has its challenges when managing a large library of products. For example, if a product has a UPC, you need to select the Google Channel, then Manage Availability, then toggle each product to false (every product!). Once a barcode is entered into the field, it should automatically be assumed that the product is not custom. It's also very time-consuming to scroll all the way through large libraries to get to products further down the list loading small groups of products at a time just to enter data or toggle the Custom Product field to false. Having the ability to filter by a brand or product would be ideal. Google Metafields disappear often too, causing delays and challenges when updating a large number of products. These issues would ultimately be solved by provided the True/False custom product drop down on the product page, instead of a checkbox to indicate "custom" or leaves the field blank instead of false.

I installed Google channel and it automated a Smart Shopping campaign for me and it was working beautifully for about two weeks, but then Google Ads Manager prompted me to upgrade my campaign to Performance Max, indicating that ALL Smart Shopping campaigns would be switched to PM in July and that I should do it early to reap greater results sooner. So, as there was not an option to do this in the Google sales channel, I did it directly in Google Ads manager. Now, the old Smart Shopping campaign was disabled and the new PM is not getting as many sales. And, both Google Merchant Center and Ads Manager appear to have completely disconnected from Shopify. Conversions, budget, cost not updating in Shopify at all. When I go to the Merchant center, it tells me the I should connect Shopify's Google channel to advertise, but I'm already advertising! I'm concerned that my conversions are being missed, and that when I update or create new products in Shopify they will no longer sync automatically with Merchant Center or Ads but I have searched high and low for tutorials on how to fix this problem, as it's new. If google is forcing all Smart Shopping campaigns to switch over to PM, then surely this is going to be a big problem for everyone using Google Channel? PLEASE HELP! Thank you.

I used this app as suggested and and a lot of my products were approved. Then I was introduced by Google to Google Ads which I'm not that interested in and all my products were disapproved..

J'ai installé l'application et aussi effectué deux campagnes. Je ne sais plus ce qui se passe. Je n'ai plus accès à rien. L'application ne fonctionne plus sur mon site et on me dit que " Google has noticed that your store doesn't meet its requirements." Je suis très déçue.

My store, jewelry4generations.myshopify.com has been suspended since I set it up because of "misrepresentation" policy violation. I uploaded products from ShineOn via the app and the Shineon platform and didn't change anything to the uploads. I have tried to work with Google to fix the problem but I don't SPECIFICALLY know what the problem is. Shineon is listed as the Vendor for every product and I in no way have claimed that these are my products. If someone could help me with this I would really appreciate it. Jami Roberts

Have used for about 2 years and it was very easy to use. But recently (January 2022) this has not been syncing my GTIN's and I get a warning on my Shopify dashboard that most, if not all of my products, have a publishing error on Google due to missing GTIN. All of the applicable products have the correct GTIN entered in the GTIN field.

After having no luck initially with this app until a negative review was written I have now had great support from john at shopify to get things moving and products approved. Now we will see if the spend gets results.

Update as of 10/22/2021 - I was able to get it sorted out with google and my account is back up but it took weeks and many headache calls to google to resolve the issue. My review I wrote is only towards google not shopify in any way just to be clear that shopify is a great website that I love to use and I have no issues with shopify at all only google. Same here on October 7th my account was suspended due to policy violation: Misrepresentation. I have called Google until my head is about to explode they wont give me any reasons to why my account was suspended how can I fix something that I have no idea what is wrong. I am at a loss of words and now I see lots of other people are in the same boat as me. If anyone has any idea I would love to hear from them. machineryone.com I was told if I pay $750.00 I could be be unsuspended.

I've used this app multiple times in the past with success however on my most recent installation, I'm unable to get any of the Google Shopping App Conversion Actions to verify. I've reached out to both Shopify and Google Ads support and like others have mentioned, they both recommend reaching out to the other. Seeing as we're relying on the app for gtag and conversion action implementation vs. adding code to the the theme, I'm at a loss for how to troubleshoot.
