I’ve had an excellent experience working with Inventory Planner, and I’d like to highlight the outstanding support provided by their team member, Yi Chan. He has been consistently professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly patient throughout our interactions. Chan took the time to understand our business needs in detail and guided us through every step with clarity and efficiency. His ability to explain complex functions in a simple, practical way has made a huge difference in our workflow. Thanks to his help, we’ve been able to optimise our inventory processes and feel much more confident using the platform. Overall, I’m very impressed with both the product and the level of customer support. Chan’s dedication and expertise truly set a high standard. Highly recommended.

We've been using Inventory Planner for over a year now, and it’s become an essential part of how we manage our purchasing and inventory across multiple sales channels. The platform gives us clear visibility into what to reorder, when to reorder, and how much to buy; all based on accurate forecasting and real-time sales data. Terrible, terrible experience. Something broke with the connection at the end of September 2025 and it has basically rendered IP useless to us. The data is not syncing and we are not able to use it even though we JUST paid for an entire year ($4k). Customer service is slow to respond and we're now demanding a full refund after 21+ days of "attempting to resolve this with our engineers." Even their parent company, Sage, knows nothing about them. Tried calling Sage and cx was clueless as to who IP was. If you choose to use them, I recommend proceeding with high caution and low expectations.

I had a very bad experience with their customer service. I needed help reinstalling the app and was ready to pay for the monthly subscription, but I was told that my company was too small for their service. They explained that they had changed their “business model” and are now focusing only on much larger companies. I was advised to contact them again once I reach more than 1 million dollars in annual revenue, and only then they would be happy to help. It was really disappointing to have the door shut in my face like that. They should clearly state these conditions on the App Store so smaller businesses don’t waste their time.

Stuck Paying for a Product We Can’t Use We’ve been with Inventory Planner since before Sage acquired them—back when the platform was lean, reliable, and backed by great customer support. After the acquisition, our subscription cost was increased threefold. In early 2025, after renewing our annual subscription, we transitioned to a 3PL that Inventory Planner had no integration with. Despite reaching out promptly to explain the situation and explore solutions, support offered nothing viable. As a result, we could no longer use the software. We requested a refund for the remainder of the contract, but they refused. We’re now stuck having paid for eight months of a product we can’t use. Support acknowledged the issue but hid behind policy instead of making any good-faith effort to help. If your business values fairness, transparency, and customer service, we strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

We understand how disruptive a platform change can be, especially when it affects your ability to use Inventory Planner as intended. When your team transitioned to a non-native connection, our support team outlined several options, including a referral to a trusted partner who builds custom integrations and our Early Access ACSV feature. ACSV (Advanced CSV) allows you to connect Inventory Planner to virtually any tech stack, even if we don’t have a native integration—by syncing your data through a flexible, customizable file format. Although your business was not interested in these suggested solutions, we believe ACSV continues to present a promising option moving ahead. We do our best to be transparent about what’s possible and what’s covered under our terms—and while we weren’t able to offer a refund, we’re still here to support you in making the most of your subscription. We just started using Inventory Planner and are learning the ins and outs of the product. The support team is amazing and are very clear in answering any questions or concerns that we have. Jansen, Hector, Ade and Lavender have been extremely helpful and are very knowledgable about the software program. I've been using Inventory Planner for a while now, and while the tool itself is powerful and feature-rich, what truly makes it invaluable is the exceptional support team. Honestly, if it weren’t for the amazing help I’ve received—especially from Jansen—I would’ve already switched to another system. Inventory planning can be complex and, at times, incredibly frustrating. Recently, I ran into serious challenges with skewed forecasts caused by limited Shopify data. Jansen didn’t just assist—he saved the day. His expertise, patience, and clear communication turned a situation that had me reaching out to competitors into a moment of relief. The support he gave was better than what I’ve experienced from most paid consultants. I’ve been using the software service from this company and have had a truly great experience so far. The customer support has been outstanding, especially from Ade, who has been incredibly helpful, responsive, and professional. We have been using inventory planner for just over 2 years and it has been a game-changer for forecasting, getting us away from massive spreadsheets and having to run numerous reports. The forecasting tools are dynamic with built in filters for seasonal variances, and all replenishments can be tweaked on the fly; but its ability to forecast and help plan is great so you rarely need to! Integrating with all of our systems has meant we have everything we need in one place to save time and quickly made decisions. As with other Sage products, the support from help desk and access to additonal training is great.

I've been using IP for about four years now, and it’s been a game-changer compared to our old spreadsheet-based planning. It’s saved us an incredible amount of time while helping me purchase the right inventory at the right moment. This has significantly reduced out-of-stock issues and optimized our cash flow. For the first few years, I didn’t spend much time on configuration—it worked almost perfectly out of the box. This year, however, we focused on fine-tuning it to better track our costs, and the results have been worth it. The IP support team has been fantastic throughout. I genuinely appreciate this app—it’s easily in my top three Apps my Shopify stores.
