Loop has been a blessing for our business. They were able to help us create a very custom solution for our membership program, that also includes a subscription element. Memberships are our secondary product, and their system has driven a massive improvement in LTV and the offering has boosted our AOV. Loop's customer service is Amazonesque, they have a high attention to detail, quickly solve issues, and I mean quickly (within minutes). We spoke to many of their competitors and no one comes close to their way of doing business. Cheers to the Loop team. I wish all my partners were like them!

We’ve been using Loop Subscriptions for our multiple brands, and it’s been a great experience. The custom flows and customer portal make it super easy for our subscribers to manage their orders, which is crucial for a wellness brand like ours. Loop’s cancellation flows and analytics have helped us improve retention, and their support team is always quick to assist. If you're on the fence about which subscription app to go with, We highly recommend giving Loop a try. It’s powerful, easy to use, and backed by a team that genuinely cares.

After using Loop Subscriptions across multiple stores, I can confidently say it's one of the most frustratingly stagnant platforms on the market. What started with potential has turned into a case study in missed opportunities and complete lack of innovation. Zero Customization, One-Size-Fits-None Loop sells the idea of being flexible and Shopify Plus-friendly, but in reality, it's rigid, bloated, and overly reliant on basic templates. The lack of front-end customization options makes it near impossible to create an experience that feels native to your brand. You want a modern flow? Forget it. You’ll be stuck wrestling with limitations that shouldn’t exist in 2025. No Real Retention Tools – Just Wishful Thinking While other platforms are actively building retention mechanics like personalized win-back flows, smart pause/skip incentives, or tailored reactivation offers, Loop is still pitching "skip a month" like it's a game-changer. There’s no strategic churn management, no dynamic rewards, no real ownership over how you keep your customers engaged. They give you a calendar and a prayer. Painfully Behind the Curve The e-commerce landscape is moving fast, and Loop just isn’t keeping up. Their competitors are miles ahead, offering advanced analytics, deep integrations, and retention-first thinking. Loop, meanwhile, acts like it’s 2021 – and even then, it would’ve been average at best. If you’re running a serious DTC brand and care about owning your subscriber journey, Loop isn’t the tool. It’s an outdated, cookie-cutter solution in a space where innovation actually matters.

We switched to Loop several months ago after being with another subscription platform for a couple of years (and had one issue after another..) and we are SO happy with Loop! Migration and onboarding process was delivered in an exceptional manner from all the Loop's team members involved which we are very thankful for. Customer service - attention and speed of reaction to all the requests we had so far is really top-notch. App's interface is SUPER user-friendly for both - customer and our (admin) sides. Highly recommend!

Fantastic subscription app! We use this app to run all of our subscriptions - we use it for product swaps, upsells, and free gifts each month. Very easy to use and to set up. We were previously using Seal Subscriptions and the white glove migration from there was seamless (thanks to the Loop team). Now, we've been with them for over 6 months and we have monthly team meetings with Aayush, our account representative. He brings data on our account each month and ways we can improve. Super helpful!! We also have a dedicated Slack channel with their team for quick service if there is ever a bug. The only thing we wish they had is a better integration with Pagefly and a way to block cancellations for the first X days of a subscription. That would be a game changer for our brand to protect against customers who buy then cancel right away.

Loop has been fantastic. When we decided to go headless, we searched for a subscription service with a robust API, knowing we had big plans. Loop has exceeded our expectations. Their customer service is outstanding, and their tools are state-of-the-art. Recently, I built an entire headless frontend, and when a customer checks out, I can use a single placeholder product, tap the Loop API to turn it into a bundle, and even adjust the subscription start date, among other features. Our success manager works US hours and is incredibly helpful and resourceful. Loop empowers its team to assist customers in completing critical projects consistently and on time. I highly recommend checking them out. We did, and we’re thrilled with the results—we’re here to stay.

I haven’t tried every subscription app out there, but I’ve used one of the big names, and it was a frustrating experience. I couldn’t even get started because the app was so difficult to customize, and their support was lackluster—like many SaaS companies, they were attentive until I signed the contract, and then their responsiveness dropped off a cliff. That wasn't the case with Loop. Their team stuck with me through two months of full customization, which included a major overhaul to accommodate a special bundle offer we wanted to run. Their customer success team was incredibly responsive and helpful every step of the way. If you don't need to do anything special/unique/different then your startup time should be way shorter - probably just a week or so. I was especially impressed with Loop’s API hub, which allowed us to create a fully tailored solution for our unique needs. Fast forward 10 months, and the app is running smoothly. Good ecomm SaaS apps are hard to come by, but Loop is one of them.
