Sketchy sign-up process. "Free trial". "Free trial". -> Forced to sign-up via pricing plan that states "You will be billed for this app when you begin to use it". This, combined with their 100% AI support, are pretty questionable at best and not a good way to develop trust. We'll be uninstalling instead of signing up for the trial.
Hey Brenton - totally understand where you’re coming from. The trial is free, but Shopify requires approval of a plan upfront which looks sketchy (we agree). We’re working on making that clearer. Watch Out, worst application ever ! it' doesn't work and very hard to use. When you planifie all the video, they aren't upload on my social media. My biggest waste of money. The last thing, when you want to quit the application, they rob you more money.

As for the billing - we never charge (nor can we or would we!) without authorisation. If something didn’t go as expected, we’re happy to review and refund as needed. If I could leave zero stars I would. Customer service is non existant. I pay for a service the least you could do is respond to an email. App connections are an issue. Good luck trying to get help. I will be looking for another app... MINTA SUX

I don't understand why this app is so well rated. At first, their application didn't work and it took several days before they fixed the problem and I could talk to someone. I wanted to be reimbursed, but they didn't want to because I had paid for 1 year (big mistake on my part). So I'm stuck with this application that I'm probably going to stop using even if I paid for it for 1 year. There are plenty of mistakes. They put music on automatic posts, which I never allowed. Sometimes there are products that are not even mine on the post-automatic. Yes, we can manage and delete automatic posts if necessary, but it almost takes me longer to deal with their error than to create posts myself.

I signed up for a free trial, selected the monthly option, but was charged for an entire year. They refuse to refund me, insisting that I chose the yearly plan, which I would never have done. The app is advertised as an AI marketing tool, but it doesn’t deliver on that promise. It simply takes your current inventory and inserts it into templates with poor graphics and generic music. Half the time, the text is unreadable due to color choices, and I often have to edit the posts to make them presentable. There’s really no point in using this app since you end up spending time editing and reposting content anyway. What’s worse, I sell clothes, but the app kept posting ads for jewelry, which is completely irrelevant to my business. Overall, this app isn’t worth the time or money, and it could actually harm your social media presence unless you constantly delete and repost edited versions of their content.

I have used this company for one month and have not been satisfied with its videos. They do not have an option for telling the customer where to go to shop. I decided to cancel the "Trial period" there is no where on the site to cancel. You have to talk with someone that never cancels your account. I recommend that you use caution when dealing with this company.

SHAME ON MINTA. I'VE HAD THIS FOR 7YRS. $55 MONTHLY. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THE WORSE. TECH. SUPPORT DOESN'T COME THRU W/ 24 HRS FOR HELP. & CHECK WHAT'S GOING ON? THE SUPERVISOR VERY UNPROFESSIONAL HE TURNED OFF MY CHAT BUTTON. I PAY FOR A SERVICE & DO ALL THE WORK. HE ALSO TOLD ME TAKE MY CAPS OFF, WHEN MESSAGING HIM. I HAVE ALL THE PROOF & EMAILS TO BACK IT UP. DON'T WANT REFUND, JUST MY MINTA APP FIXED. FOR A LOYAL CUSTOMER & A PAYING CUSTOMER I DESERVE RESPECT, I DESERVE FOR MY APP. Not happy with app. App is attempting to bill us without delivering on the promise and after uninstalling app from store. Please assist to correct this.

i bought this app paid for 1year i wish i wouldn’t have it is limited on what you can do with this app the videos do not work properly there is limited text and you have to resize your images to get them to fit correctly the only thing that works is the auto post that works very well but you are limited to what you can achieve does not allow for longer video duration and limits amount of text i would not recommend this app unless they allow for more freedom with your edits but if you don’t need that much text and don’t mind your images being cropped it’s very good with auto post

there is no way to cancel and the chat sucks. it kept telling me that the message did not go through

WARNING this app is a scam, they will charge big lots of money, even when you set it to use the test credits. They will continue to charge you, without any notice and you will see a big bill in you shopify billing (More than USD200). Alex then will just tell you a lots of lies on the support and will just block you. I have escalated this to Shopify support. Update 05/09/24: They has just post a reply to my post, IS A COMPLETE LIE, they has not sent any DM to me, nor mail or anything, and I contacted they and they don´t want to help or solve the issue, this guys are a real danger, dont´t ever let them has acces to you credit card.

The problem with me is not the app itself. It's bad customer service. I tried cancelling my subscription with this app because it's too expensive for me. When I reached out to support, they lied and told me to uninstall it to cancel it. That's what I did and they kept charging me. As a result, my jewelry shop is frozen.

We installed the Minta Social Videos Auto Post app on our store, drawn in by its promise of auto-posting branded content. Unfortunately, the app only delivered poorly designed, template-based posts that ignored our custom branding settings. Despite reaching out to their support team multiple times, the issue was never resolved. The lack of response and support forced us to uninstall the app before any billing occurred. It’s clear that this app does not deliver on its promises, and the customer service is equally disappointing. If you’re looking for reliable, branded content auto-posting, this app is not the solution. Save yourself the frustration and steer clear of this app.

I will never recommend this company. Aside from the general low quality of their videos, they offer a 'Free Trial' that they will then charge your shopify account for a full year $200+ subscription. Based on the way Shopify is set up, there is minimal support and the team of Vlad & Jordan at Minta will absolutely refuse to issue a refund. This has been such a disgusting experience that I am willing to shut down my shopify store and take my business elsewhere.

I had recently downloaded Minta app and I believed I chose a monthly plan. Once the free trial had ended, Minta had tried to charge me for the year plan. I got in contact with their support team asking them to remove the recurring charge for the year and that I am only willing to pay for the monthly plan. They had come back to me saying that they still had to charge my card for the yearly fee but were willing to refund $2xx and keep the remaining for the monthly plan. I told Minta in the end that I was going to uninstall their app and to stop trying to charge me. But they said that Shopify are the ones I need to contact to stop the recurring charges and when I spoke to Shopify, they said that the app developer is responsible for it. I'm confused.

I'm shocked by the usage fees. Didn't get a lot that I can see from the app but was charged usage fees that were shocking.

No wonder they want new subscribers to make a promo video before the customer realizes what a useless and ripoff service Minta is. From the beginning of the service I was unimpressed with the quality of the videos which kept repeating the same products in addition to stating Black Friday sale in the middle of May. I made my payment, I was not late. I paid on time yet for some reason Minta decided to not only not run my ads on Facebook and Tiktok-which had already been running but refused to also run the ads for Pinterest and Instagram which I had added. After waiting a week for them to get the ads all going. NOTHING. I had to reach out four different times and just got the runaround. Requested a refund. Don't trust this company. Trust the one-star reviews not the five stars that can be bought.

I’m not going to lie this app is awful ! I’ve asked for help and reached out to Minta with no response. I was not able to talk to a human being. I could not get past a certain part of the app. I could reset anything. Anytime I tried to go to a different page in the app it would say something that was already updated needed to be updated again. Too much of a hassle and not worth the download.
