I would like to ask if I can print receipts to a bluetooth printer ? as the printers options show when I'm trying to print are wifi printers only
Thank you for reaching out and bringing this to our attention. There aren't any limitations with printer models, as Order Printer supports desktop printers. However, if you're not seeing your Bluetooth printers, then you can also save the invoices/packing slips as a PDF and print them through a different program (https://bit.ly/3byfp9y). If you need further assistance with this, then we'd be happy to assist you through live chat, email, or callback. Please visit the Shopify Help Center (https://bit.ly/2AWw5VA) and log into your account to create a support request. Cheers. -Elias, Shopify Support

The app doesn't create correct invoices when the Duties Calculation feature is enabled. Invoices generated using the app will not include a duties line, but will include the duties in the total. There is no liquid template variable for duties. (Opened a support case in March 2022 to update the app to support Duties, but have not received an update on when this feature will be added.)
Thank you for taking the time and sharing this feedback with us. While duties and fees aren't supported on Order Printer at this time, we understand how important this is to you and we'd be more happy to submit a feature request on your behalf to our development team for future considerations. That being said, if you need something that can provide commercial invoicing and include duties or import taxes in the meantime, then we'd recommend taking a look at something like Sufio: Professional Invoices (https://bit.ly/3POQspc) or AVA PDF Invoice: Order Printer (https://bit.ly/3Jlh3Ik). Thanks again! -Elias, Shopify Support

Is this App integrated for use in Shopify Flow? I want to use it to print orders automatically and add an order tag if certain conditions are met when order created triggers.
Thank you for reaching out and posting this question! While Order Printer isn't integrated with Shopify Flow at the moment, we understand that this is important to you and we'd be happy to log this as a feature request to our development team for considerations in future releases. If you'd like to explore apps that work with Shopify Flow, then we've got a list of them right over here: https://bit.ly/3PfxkAF. Cheers! -Elias, Shopify Support

Does this app support the auto order print when order is placed? So every time and customer places an order it will send a print job. Then the printer will receive the print job and print automatically.
Hey, there! Automatic print isn't currently a feature of the app, however I can definitely see how that option could be beneficial for you. I'll be sure to pass that on as a feature request to our developers to be considered in any future updates. Thank you! - Brie, Shopify Support

I installed this app, because it's a requirement to use with the Orderly Packing Slips. The packing slips are beautiful, a much needed upgrade to the Shopify packing slips. HOWEVER - you can't print the packing slips from the same page that you fulfill the order. So you have to 1) fulfill the order, 2) exit out of the order itself back to your Shopify Orders page, 3) select the checkbox next to the order and click "Print with Order App," 4) be taken to the Order App page, THEN you can print the dashboard. For one or two orders, it's annoying but not a huge deal. But if you're fulfilling a lot of orders at one time, it's a hassle to have to fulfill the orders on one page, then go somewhere else just to print the packing slips.
Hi there, Florious Beauty. Thanks so much for taking the time to leave us a review for Order Printer. Having the ability to both fulfil and print packing slips on the same page would be a great feature for this app to have, and we can absolutely see the value such a feature would provide. I want to let you know that I've passed this feedback on to our Product Team, so they can look into building this feature into a future app update. Though I can't comment on any timelines, I can assure you that the team is aware of this feature request. Thanks again for your review! -Imogen, Shopify Support

This app has several drawbacks. 1. It lists the customer information at the bottom rather than at the top of the order. 2. It doesn't right justify the item cost. 3. It doesn't show the actual cost if more than one item is ordered. 4. It doesn't show the price before the discount. 5. It doesn't show an automatic discount at all. 6. It doesn't work with Draft orders. Some of these issues can be changed by editing, but why isn't this designed to write a clear customer invoice?
Hi there, ESL Supplies. Thanks for taking the time to leave a review for Order Printer. We appreciate the feedback you've provided us here. We're always looking to improve our product offerings, so any and all feedback is appreciated, as it helps us accomplish this.

How do i send a PDF with the order conformation to my customer? Ik kan alleen printen en geen pfd sturen?
Thank you for writing your review and for asking your question. If you're wanting to have a downloadable file sent to your customers when they complete their order, you'd be best served using the Digital Downloads app as it serves this purpose. Is it possible to print in spanish language? Until now I have been sharing notes in english to my customers...
Thank you for reaching out and writing your review. At this time, all templates for the Order Printer app are in English and there aren't any other languages that are supported. It would be possible to translate the templates into Spanish but this would require a fair bit of work and some knowledge of HTML. If this is something you wanted help with, you could seek to hire a Shopify Expert: https://bit.ly/3p9T9Fm. We appreciate you sharing your feedback with us and I'll be sure to pass your comments on to our app development team. -Victor, Shopify Support

This app has served us well for years now. We made a customized order page with a little programming knowledge and have literally used it ever since without any problems whatsoever. This is a MUST HAVE APP!
I'm delighted to hear that the Order Printer app has been a useful app for you and your business for some time now, and hope it continues to be as your business grows. We really appreciate you taking the time to write your review and provide your feedback. -Victor, Shopify Support

Terrible. Why is this an app? Should just be a button just like print packing slip. Should be as simple as print invoice, print screen pops up, hit print done. It's slow, weird layout, need to know code to edit.. Just really strange that it's not built in to shopify like packing slip. This could just be the same as packing slip, just with pricing displayed.
Hey, there. Thanks so much for taking the time to leave your feedback here. I can definitely understand how beneficial it would be for this to be integrated into the admin, and I'll be sure to pass your suggestions on to our development team. In the meantime, if there's any other way we can assist you with the app, please reach out to our support team and we'd be happy to lend a hand any time (https://bit.ly/2AWw5VA). This app does the job and is easy to use if you know HTML & Liquid. However, almost all liquid properties available when editing a template are deprecated. Moreover, it is not possible to use up-to-date properties (like line_item.final_price, line_item.discount_allocations, etc.) This is important because old properties don't support correctly discounts, VAT, etc. (This is why they have been deprecated!) An upgrade would be much appreciated.
Hey, there. Thank you for taking the time and sharing this feedback! We can definitely see how important and beneficial it is for you to be able to use newer liquid variables, and we'd be happy to pass your feedback along to our development team. Thanks again! -Elias, Shopify Support

We have been using this app for many years and it is first class....I would like to know if I can set-up a default name for the print function - as is the file name instead of order printer - I'd like to use something more specific and then add the date of the order file
I'm delighted to hear that you've enjoyed using the Order Printer app for a number of years and we really appreciate you sharing your feedback with us here. I am afraid it is not possible to change the default name of the file when you print or save it, or change the format, but I can see why this would help save time on your part. I will be sure to pass your suggestions onto our development team. -Victor, Shopify Support

I am using this software and I want to know how to add a QR code or barcode?QR code about the order number.
Hey, there. Thank you for reaching out and using our app. You can add the barcode for the product variants onto your templates, using this variable: {{ variant.barcode }}. However, there isn't a QR Code for the order number at this time. To learn more about customizing the order templates, please checkout our guide here: https://bit.ly/333JcCE. That being said, we can see how having a QR code for the order number can be a useful function for our merchants, like yourself, and we'd be happy to share this suggestion with our developers. My use case is needing to generate monthly invoices for accounting, one per page. I was super happy about Order Printer's promise to solve it. Unfortunately it has a major caveat, as it's limited to 50 orders per "bulk". We are not a huge shop, but we have over 100 orders every month. When I select the amount we need, it doesn't work AND doesn't report an error. Instead shows something like 7(?) orders without the PDFs(?) - a result that makes no sense at all. As a software developer myself, I don't understand why this limit. I get that there needs to be one, but it should be significantly higher. PDFs with more than 50 pages typically don't break modern computers. I think the previous screen, where you select orders, already does the job of selecting as many orders as the user wants, so this really seems like something that could be achieved by adding a "0" to "limit=50" in the code - although I can ofc also imagine things being different. Summarised: - limit should be significantly higher - if it's more than the limit, the interface should inform the user that something is wrong - if there's a limit, it should be documented in FAQ or somewhere - it should not advertise "bulk print" with a limit as low as 50 hope this doesn't sound to angry :) I understand there there is not always the time to do everything. Hopefully this can be expedited, given how easy it (seemingly) is. I also heard from support that this issue was also reported by other users.
Hi, there. Thank you for taking the time to leave this review and provide this valuable feedback. This is currently expected behavior, we limit bulk printing to 50. So if 50+ is selected, it will not load any orders to print. I can certainly see how adding the ability to print more could be beneficial to the application. Therefore, I would be happy to send your feedback up to our developers for future consideration. Thanks again for your review! -Marty, Shopify Support

Really like this app and its super useful, however one major point, I want to be able to send the order bills generated with this app directly to the respective customers too. Is there any way to implement it or a app that hooks into this one?
Hi, there. Thank you so much for taking the time to leave this review and provide us with your feedback. While you cannot currently send invoices generated with the Order Printer app directly, I can certainly see how this idea would be beneficial as a merchant. I would be happy to submit your feedback up to our developers for future consideration. Thanks again! -Marty, Shopify Support.

Annoying that Shopify hasn’t caught up with the rest of the tech world in supporting small businesses that run on iPad Pro. Can’t easily print orders, half the apps don’t work with iPad Pro either through Safari or Chrome. Come on, Shopify, do better!
Thank you for writing your review and for providing your feedback. Both the Shopify app and the Shopify POS app are compatible with iPad Pro devices, so if you are experiencing issues when accessing Order Printer and printing orders via your device, I would recommend contacting our support team so these issues can be troubleshooted further: https://bit.ly/2AWw5VA. It is always recommended that you have the latest iOS update as well as the latest versions of the apps installed on your device, so if you are experiencing issues it's worth checking to ensure that your applications are up-to-date. If this is the case and issues remain then our support team will be able to investigate these problems further for you. -Victor, Shopify Support

Hi we need to include a barcode of the order # in the order to print. The idea is to be able to read the printed orders with a bar reader
Hi there. Thank you for your review and great feedback. While you cannot generate barcodes directly in the Order Printer app, you could utilize our Retail barcode Label's app: https://bit.ly/2ZqedyQ and a Dymo LabelWriter 450: https://bit.ly/3EgElv6 to print barcode stickers that you could then stick to your printed orders or labels. Thanks again for your review! -Marty, Shopify Support.
