One of the worst experiences I have had with advertising and with the credibility of the company. Summarizing my story with Pinterest, I started advertising with pinterest after having my catalog of products approved for over months, in which I was optimizing and coming to have more results every month. What happens was, that simply out of nowhere, without any justification the pinterest took my catalog of products of the air. After trying numerous times with my manager to resolve the situation, which had told me that it was related to the policies of the site, which were changed and reformulated for the best possible option. After arranging everything, and thinking that this issue and case would have a happy ending and would solve my catalog in which I need to advertise, was not resolved and I was simply denied a solution. I was very upset and angry with the situation, in which the pinterest itself created, because my catalog was active and running ads for more than months without any problem, which was very strange and very out of the ordinary. I follow with no return, no solution and without even an agility of the case, since everything is correct with my company, store and policies.

I expect better from the app it wouldn't let me run my ad there was nothing wrong with the ad there is no reason why the ad should of been denied

After I installed the Pinterest app on Shopify I clicked on the green "Connect Pinterest Account" and then appears this "Account is suspended" red button. Without warning, account suspended. My Pinterest account was fine up until the moment I clicked on the "Connect Pinterest Account" ******Update****** My account was reinstated via email and came with an apology but no justification as to why this happened. I'm a tad wary of Pinterest, now. Although, I have successfully re-installed the app my business Pinterest account is a bit dodgy. The people I used to follow (all of 3 people who are fellow creatives / friends) can not be followed. The amount of followers I had is half of what it used to be and when I ask my 3 friends / creatives to follow me, they can't. Going to leave the 1 star right there until I can work with Pinterest to resolve this issue. If it can't be resolved then there are many, many, more social media outlets there. Wow! What a day!

I just signed up. It seems premature to ask me to rate it. I had a problem with cookies and needed to use a non-Incognito window.

This app is a waste of time if your store is not 9 months old. You can apply to join their merchant account, but deny you and then send you a message that the website must be 9 month old. I think they just want you to create an account with them so they can hound you into paid ads with them.

Not sure what I did, both of my stores got hit with Merchant does not meet minimum website quality requirements. I have been with Pinterest for 1 year. Now the shop is not available on my Pinterest account which helps me a lot with traffic and sales. Maybe it's time to move on with Pinterest.

These people are INSANE! I added 100% organic and natural balms and salves and every couple days I get an email stating my web site no longer meets Pinterest. Then a couple days later I get an email stating it was an error and they apologize, then a couple days later yet another email stating my site stinks and they want nothing to do with it. We I want NOTHING to do with Pinterest anymore. App deleted!

This app is trash ... it always tells me to enable cookies and then it never lets me connect the two. Seems to be a never ending loop. Something in the data needs to be fixed.

It doesn't let me connect, I don't know why it keeps happening. Every time I get to the connect page it goes back to the start.

Recommend everyone to report pinterest. I look at my stats for ads. All my visits are from Ashburn, although I marked for Norway only. We have to pay for all clicks made from Ashburn.(USA) Notice that you get 2 visits after a short time from Ashburn. My shop has dropped drastically since using pinterest.

Disappointed with the way support works. Zero response after asking multiple times. I expect a little better from a company like Pinterest

Entirely useless. My store was flagged as being a "resale marketplace" (which is definitely isn't) so the account was blocked. Everytime I tried to engage to get this resolved, they simply restated this erroneous classification, and wouldn't provide any information on why it was happening, or how to fix it. Total waste of time.

I think I have had the same experience as many: tag health. Strange error messages with no help with how to fix the problem (and sometimes what the problem even is). And support is nil. Since this is a common problem, I find it strange that it hasn't been addressed in your updates.

install failed with zero explanation and zero online support on the pinterest side making this a failed experiment and waste of time.

I do not recommend PINTEREST as a platform for a long term partner. After two years, suddently Pinterest removed the company as approved merchant without any explanation or further assistence. All they do is sending to my team a ready answer, after a week or more, that doesn't relate anything about my company nor our ecommerce status. Watch out when you trying to have great partners for your business, because overnight PINTEREST can just get absurdly rude and disrespectful with a registered company that's always looking to be a great example in any partner portfolio. They are treating us like nothing, without reason, by any means. What sick our company's employees is that Pinterest arguments that our - Merchant's information is unoriginal. - Re-used or plagiarized ''About Us'' pages are unacceptable. This, after years of being a normal approved merchant and without modificating any legal information on our website footer. Regardless the wrong way of judging our company, the customer support doesnt even reply. And when they reply, it is a ctrl+C/V without any further assistence. As a business owner, you must know that side of Pinterest. Think well before investing in this platform. They removed by any mean the possibility for my company to contest this decision. Our team did not change any LEGAL information OR modify OR hide any social account.

I have had nothing but frustration dealing with Pinterest. Right after installing the app, my account was suspended because my site was categorized as an, "resale marketplace," which is ridiculous because it's all my stuff. I don't sell consignment and own everything I sell. You would think this would be a simple mistake that is easily corrected. However, since I installed the app and got suspended, I contacted Pinterest customer service 4 times and have only gotten messages back that they are overwhelmed with tickets from other customers and that they'll get back to me as soon as they could, which in my case is never. I also had 4 specialists assigned to help me get started with Pinterest. Three never replied back after I told them my issue, and one guy did, but didn't know what he could do to help me. The guy I had 2 video conference calls did nothing for me to get started with Pinterest or resolving my problem. The only thing I got out of our calls is that I should open an Instagram account and post on there everyday, which I have. I have dealt with many poor customer services departments including Comcast and Etsy, but this one is even worse than them which is pretty bad.
