Claimed to be free when I installed it but now charges for usage and they can charge you anything they want every month. Forces you to accept this instead of being allowed to start with a free plan, they make you accept the paid plan and then have to cancel it.

You can downgrade to the Free plan at any time during the 30 day free trial and you won’t be charged at all. We introduced pricing in May 2025 to help cover the growing costs of maintaining the app across tens of thousands of stores. The app had previously been completely free since 2021. Please note: usage based pricing applies to large stores with lots of traffic. Most stores fall within the $29/mo plan. We also offer significant discounts since we understand each store is unique. Removed from website as we needed to set a spend limit of 'at least' $999 USD. Not sure if that is being fixed, but could not risk a random amount being billed.

Bad support. My website got flagged as spam and none of the customer support cared to find a solution. Everyone of them kept saying "we're checking and we will update you" but even after literal days went by none ever reached out. At a point they told me they fixed my issue but they actually fixed nothing, and after telling them the issue was still there they told me they couldn't fix my issue..??? Time wasters

Installed their Add to Cart pop up this morning and it has COMPLETELY broken our site. All ADD TO CART buttons on our site have stopped working, so sellers can't buy anything. This is as bad as it gets, and yet there is absolutely no urgency on their part to fix this for us. We deleted the app but the residual code is still on the site and has essentially SHUT DOWN OUR BUSINESS altogether. Utter garbage of an app with equally abysmal level of customer service.

The app was great for a while, but just disappeared. My shop says that the app is still installed, but there's just a blank screen. I have no idea how long the pop-up hasn't been popping up.... :(

The app's top banner loads 3 seconds later than the other elements, making the design look unprofessional. I contacted support to fix the issue, but they insisted it was loading fine when it clearly isn’t. Instead of addressing the problem, they dismissed my concern. If you're looking for real support, this app is not the right choice.

Great app but it is missing an essential feature: email confirmation. Without it, people and bots will input fake emails and when you try to send out a newsletter, you will get blocked by spam filters and even shopify for having too many bounced emails.

I've been using the Pop Convert app to create pop-ups and banners for my Shopify store, but it's been a frustrating experience. The app doesn't send any email notifications, which is a major issue for running a business efficiently. I can't be expected to check daily if the emails are working—there should be a system in place to notify users of any issues, but instead, we're left in the dark. Customer support has been equally disappointing. When I reached out about the email problem, there was little to no help. As a business owner, I need reliable tools that work seamlessly, and unfortunately, this app has fallen short. Would not recommend.

Very bad and buggy! Go ahead...I dare ya to try and create an EXIT POP UP. After an hour of pulling out your hair and speaking to the customer service and Technical team you're going to write a bad review like I am doing right now. I saved all the chats and screenshot them showing I asked for a supervisor three times and the original Support Tech kept trying to give me solutions that would not work and so he wasn't very well informed about how his position was supposed to be handled with customers. So in researching this app that was about 20 to 30 minutes on YouTube and other sites screwing around putting up up and installing it another 10 or 15 and then wasting over an hour trying to do the mess around on an exit intent at that doesn't work and now spending 5 minutes leaving this bad review. Are you very busy and don't have time to waste like me? Then avoid this app. If you live in your parents basement playing video games all day smoking byd then of course go ahead and try this app

The automation emails do not work. I spent a lot of time creating my templates and its been weeks without an update as to when the automation emails will work. I would ask everyone to look for a different app as they still have not given us an update nor do they know when it will work again.
