Printful: Print on Demand

I have been using Printful since I opened my online store in 2019 and while I have tested out other POD companies (CustomCat, Gooten, etc) - Printful is by far the absolute best in every instance. Customer service is outstanding - always quick to respond or help, their resources are super helpful when knowing what information to provide my customers with so to cause as little error or confusion as possible. Though rare, if there is a quality or printing error - Printful has found a quick solution each time. Of course I would like to see some better options but that comes with time and growth! Since I have been using their services for almost 4 years now...it's been great to see them really listen to customers feedback and concerns, turn around and apply them while just improving even more! I never feel like I'm not aware of new policies/shipping delays or holiday prep because Printful always keeps me in the loop. I am a very big Printful fan and will continue to use their services -- if you're on the fence, go with Printful, you will not regret it. I truly do not think I would be able to run my business successfully if it wasn't for Printful and how helpful they have been from the very beginning.

I use this app to create brand products for my online shop. I enjoy the ease of upload to shopify and setting up pricing. I wish that they had a more intuitive way to integrate into shopify like SKUs and Mockups of products. I have thoroughly enjoyed all the FREE trainings and education on their platform as a registered user.

it makes it easy to design and get it online fast. super happy with how quickly i can get it up to shopify which then links to my other platforms

So far this app has worked seamlessly with Shopify, the integration is automated and very accurate. All very simple to follow or edit. I am very happy with it.

I have used Printful for about a year and they have consistently provided excellent print quality and service.

Easy to use and import and price change my products. Product lines are good as well. I would recommend this to others. Sometimes it is slow to import but overall good.

Love this app! It is easy to navigate and the integration is seamless. Purchases are automatically sent to Printful and they do all of the work. The quality is great and ship time is fast. Highly recommend!

Don't do it! They basically charge you retail prices and squeeze your margins to the point they are not profitable, after facebook ads and shipping costs I am left with (negative) -$4 to +$3 for all of my troubles. Based on their cost I need to charge $70-80 for a hoodie. This would be fine if the quality of the product were aligned with the cost. They are not. We have experienced multiple print peels and errors and many customer complaints. Cost aside the functionality is fine but note they will have many inconsistencies in the availability of the product. We liked a more premium feel so opted for the next level 4600. However, keeping this available on the site is a full-time job. The shirt is often out of stock, our latest issue seems to be we are unable to add the basic white tee as a variant. Like seriously I can't add white as a variant, this is the most basic of options?!?! In short a good option if you are looking for cheep quality prints and products for perhaps band merchandise but if you are trying to create a credible brand I'd use them to test designs and samples to get a feel for how people are responding to your designs, then immediately switch to a local screen print if your style is popular. Based on ease of use for new brands just starting out is the only reason I'd give them 2 stars. Once you scale to a point you'll need to move away from printful and find a printer you can work with on a more long term basis.

The Printful x Shopify app is great. Always very reliable and easily mangiable. Recommend for every store!

Great & easy platform to create items, but pricing for that doesn't leave any gap for profits. You can't charge more, because it doesn't look good enough for that price. They always write under comments that there are no hidden fees and etc. OK but how about your profit calculation :) I buy items from Printful for 15$ and sell for 20$ so they calculate it like a 5$ profit :D A huge and complex company plays cheap tricks on calculating profit as kids in first grade. To get 5$ profit You have to sell it for 35-40 $ and after paying VAT, taxes, transaction fees and etc. You will get that 5$ profit :) If I order 10 water bottles I will pay 169.5 Eur (16.95 per bottle) and extra 44.77 Eur for shipping :) All bottles will fit in 1 small/medium box :) 6.49 first item and 4.25 Eur for every aditional item in the same box :) This is Absurdistan with this kind of calculation :)

I find it easy to create product with it i really do enjoy the options and quickness to get the store up and ruining

I have used Printful for a few different Shopify store adventures, as well as others, and Printful is far superior in every way. Speed, quality products, and their backend UI is also super easy to work with (even with multiple stores)

I really Love this app integration. The design tools are amazing. I have never had an issue with Print work or embroidery. I think that the price is a bit higher on a few items and maybe there could be a different selection on some on the shorts for men but overall I really enjoy Printful.

There are much cheaper ways out there to print shirts. The prices are a joke, a shirt with Amazon cost me 11€ and Printful is charging 23€. Same with other print on demand websites there are much cheaper ways to print the prices are a joke. And I’ve never ever seen somebody who needed such prove of a VAT ID, I sent them my VAT number and a proof of the European Commission. My name is in the shop. The name matches the VAT information at the European Commission. The invoice is on my name so what’s the matter with it? Do you want to just annoy people?

Just started using "Shopify." I'm glad there's a platform to help me explore my dreams of creating art. Already got my first sample product. So far, so good.

I'm using PrintFul to complement my specialty coffee business. It gives me interesting add-on and upsell options.

A very user friendly precise design maker and probably the best among the various apps tested. Unfortunately, Printiful has discontinued their app which enabled customers to personalise their items directly online before check out. A great shame and a major loss to my store that will probably need to migrate to another app.
