I’ve been using Printify to run a print-on-demand store and overall it’s been a solid experience. The biggest advantage is the range of print providers and products — being able to compare pricing, locations, and production times in one place makes it much easier to manage margins and shipping expectations. The Shopify integration is straightforward and works as expected. Creating products, syncing variants, and pushing orders through to fulfilment is simple once everything is set up. I also like that you can switch print providers for the same product if availability or quality becomes an issue. Print quality has been consistent across the providers I’ve tested, and order routing is reliable. When issues do come up (which happens in POD), the platform makes it clear which provider is responsible, which helps with customer service. This app is especially useful if you want flexibility and don’t want to be locked into a single supplier. There is a bit of a learning curve at the start, mainly around choosing the right providers and settings, but once you understand the system it runs smoothly. Overall, Printify is a strong option for merchants serious about POD and scaling beyond a single product or supplier.
