I originally signed up for a monthly plan of $15 to create a pop-up. Without knowing, I have been charged $45 monthly for my users which don't have anything to do with the use of the app. This is absolutely absurd.
We've had a great experience using Privy to grow our email list and improve customer engagement. We also appreciate having email, SMS, and popups in one platform instead of juggling multiple apps. This app works perfectly for my needs and integrates seamlessly with Shopify. The customer service is very easy to reach, responsive, and eager to resolve any issues. I highly recommend Privy.
Once you subscribe, you'll get charged forever. They don't provide customer service contact number or email. They charge 6 months more after I uninstalled the service. Worst customer service. I had to contact the card company to stop charging it.

First time user of Privy so ran into some issues with trying to upload contacts from Shopify. Started a chat help session and it was amazing. Jose jumped on within a minute and within 30 minutes he had taken care of the issue and importantly provided materials so I can do it myself next time.
We've been using Privy for almost a decade now and it has quadrupled in usability and usefulness. They are always adding new features and it works seamlessly with Shopify. What really impresses me is their customer success staff. Especially Henry. What a beast! We redid our old popups and got a 5x better signup rate. Great company and will continue using for years.
We've been with Privy now for about a month, and we couldn't be happier. The reason we came over from another platform is that the previous one didn't offer phone support, which is vital for us. Henry has been meeting with me weekly via Zoom to show me around the app, such as how to set up automations and flows, and his expertise and patience with all my questions is so much appreciated. I would recommend Privy to any company wishing to up their email marketing game. They're absolutely top notch in my book.
It will charge you for "usage fees" and it won't be very easy to figure out what they are. We used a very basic setup and forgot about it only to realize we were being charged $45+ USD a month for literally an email signup. If you're just getting started, use the free shopify email app and save yourself the headaches.
Exceptional service! Abby and David from Technical Support were outstanding. My experience with them has set a new benchmark for how I believe our own business should handle customer service. Kudos to Privy management for making such excellent hires!
Changed over from Omnisend, email marketing is 50% app, 50% the person you work with. With that said, Henry has been great the past two months in our transition. We're not 100% fully on boarded yet. Privy is missing some features, that is in the pipeline, will be looking forward to utilizing those features when it releases end of July! More to come

I recently started using Privy. Setup was quick and easy to integrate with our Shopify store. I had a few questions and Jose was quick to reply to anything I needed to ask. Would recommend.
Privy is an amazing marketing tool. The platform is easy to navigate and get real time information and results. Our Customer Success Manager Henry Hakim is so knowledgeable. He is a great asset to the Privy team.
