Privy ‑ Email, SMS & Pop Ups

This app is perfect for my business, my sales increased noticeable and our brand is more confident thanks to the emails we can collect.

Interface is quite user friendly. Really easy to get started, especially with the templates, they give you a pretty good idea of how to make a pop ups.

Used in a few years ago, now I am back, missed them! Very user friendly interface and stable, not overloaded with features that its mind-numbing to try creative things easily.

Just starting today so too early to say. First impressions are a bit complicated but many that's just me!

I was really bummed when Mailchimp was no longer available via Shopify, and thought Privy would be a good choice. It is not as user friendly as Mailchimp, and it offers nice templates, more mobile friendly versus desktop. HOWEVER, back in February/ early March I noticed my emails said it was being sent however people were not receiving them. I also noticed the % of them being opened dramatically went down... probably because it was not being sent. I paid for the $20/month membership but due to the problems as well as with COVID - I cancelled, yet I still am being charged which I am trying to deal with currently. All in all, started off decent... but now I am getting frustrated with it.

I used this app to create a pop up for email sign up and it works beautifully and looks fantastic! It was really easy to do.

A bit tricky to use. I'm sure the paid version has more options. Overall some nice features in this app.

Love privy, it is easy to use and very usefull!! I needed a campaign to capture mails and it is really having great results.

I've been attempting to use Ontraport for way too long. Privy is so much better for my business. I wish I started sooner. Better late than never.

I set it up within minutes, and it helped grow my email list to run targeted campaigns. A must have for any store.

I've been using Privy to capture customer emails for 12 months. About a month ago, Privy simply turned off the function to collect my customer data and gave me no warning either prior or even afterwards that it had done so. I investigated the 'lost data' myself (because I noticed a sudden drop in sign-ups) and was given the run around by Privy for 2 weeks before they finally admitted pausing my Privy campaign because I've now hit some sort of milestone not included in my current plan. No warning was given to me prior (to allow me the opportunity to upgrade and continue the campaign) and they didn't even tell me afterwards - instead they made other excuses for 2 weeks before finally admitting the truth. I've lost valuable customer data as a result. Privy is simply not worth the risk to your business.

very easy to use the UI is friendly. Quick customer support will post an updated review soon after i explore it more. Recommended

Good app. It would be great if there was more control of where popups occur. For example having product or collection specific popups that only fire if viewer is on the correct page.
