While the design interface is great, Privy will not sync my existing Shopify contacts into the dashboard contacts list. This has to be done manually via a CSV file. So if you are gathering contacts without a Privy approved app directly into your Shopify Customer list, even though they "accept email marketing," then you will have to do constant manual updates to keep the lists synced. For example, if you are using an email signup form that is already integrated into your Shopify theme, Privy will not recognize these contacts and force you to do a manual import. So if you are happy using only what Privy gives you, then you are fine. If you want to use what is already integrated into your theme, then be aware Privy will not accept these contacts.

I loved this app, until they started the most ridiculous pricing system. Somehow pricing has gone from $24/month to $70/pm. I will be uninstalling it now. Not so great if you're a small business hoping to grow

Can't comment much about the app, but was getting a lot of emails suggesting I book a call so they could run me through the tool. Blocked off precious time in the calendar only to have no one call me, and no one respond to the emails I sent. Not impressed.

I just started to use this app but it keeps sending me a pop-up to review the app. Seems like it would be good for email marketing but I am having some trouble with being able to preview the campaigns I have created. I will review after I am able to fully use the app.

customization and sync is not entirely glitch free. It seems I cant easily turn it on or off and that should be easier

I really like my email design, however, when doing speed test through google, this slowed my website down too much, which would impact rankings. The link attached to my pop up also impacted my page. & $20 is a bit much for an email sign up.

I believe my account has been hacked. I am getting many signups that are not requesting them... this is very disturbing that there has not been anything done to fix the issue. I would appreciate if you would take a look to address this issue.

The app just kicked me out and did not save me updates. I don't know what I did wrong, this was a waste of time if it did not connect to my store. The app kicked me out without saving my corrections to the pop ups.

Its very complicated. I don't know how to use it. I wish it was easier to navigate. There is too much going on within the app.

Switched over from MailChimp to get better pricing on newsletter feature. The template was confusing to adust to. The columns and rows threw me off. I can't adjust the size of my photos, and it doesn't save them so I have to upload them every time. I'm certain these are most likely available options, but the point is, I'm a brand new user and I can't easily figure it out. In addition, after I finally figured out how to import contacts from Mailchimp, the new contacts had to get "approved" and that took several hours which I was completely unaware of. So when I sent out a very import email about a new collection release, only half my subscribers actually got the email. Very. frustrating. Also had problems figuring out how to verify my domain name. So my email went out looking very unprofessional like it was from a marketing team - which my customers don't want to see. The whole conversion has been a huge headache and very stressful, BUT customer service is excellent. They walked me through everything and I didn't have to wait more than a couple minutes for them to respond. The problem is that I've had to contact them for support over 5 times in the last 2 days. I'll probably reevaluate whether or not I'll stick when Privy once I reach the next tier of subscribers. For now, it's not worth going through all this work just to leave immediately.

I think it could be a lot more user friendly, the templates are not great, I would like them to look more professional
