Just launched our online store and am using multiple apps from BOLD. Apps are great, but the support is FANTASTIC! Do yourself a favor, if you can't quite figure something out, don't spend your time trying to make it work, just contact their support team and they will walk your through the process...great functionality and lots of time saving during implantation!

I use this app in sync with my product upsell app by bold. So far so good and if you have any questions the team is quick to respond and is extremely helpful. Parminder provided the best customer support I've ever had!

So far I am very happy! I will be using the Bold Discount and Upsell together. The apps were an easy install, some code I installed myself and I am not extremely knowledgeable but their documentation was easy to follow. The rest of the code I had the amazing support staff take care of. Cody and the rest of the team were very helpful. Still early to comment on effectiveness but for what it appears it will do the cost for there apps are great.

If you could rate nil stars then that is what I would have chosen. The App does not work correctly for a large number of discount items. Numerous products did not have the applicable discount applied even though the set-up was correct. This issue was identified on the 30th July and as at 16th August there has been no resolution. The costumer service was even worse. Despite numerous attempts to get an answer and being advised that I will be updated urgently, no feed back was provided. On the third day in a row of email an chatting, I received this response "We have a larger than normal volume right now and everything is taking longer than anticipated" which is a stock standard response. I would not recommend this app for its functionality or the service response to anyone! Very disappointed!

Did the trial for 30 days, which I used to learn the product a couple of weeks before black friday. It was an easy learning curve and the best is the live chat I have with the company , which is huge to fix problems fast. Its been a joy now months later to help set up sales on products, BOGO, and upsells. I do have some of there other products now too which makes everything smooth. This app has been very easy to install and use as I set up a BOGO promotion. It was Pratibha on the support chat who was able to direct me to this method for setting up this kind of BOGO sale (instead of bundles) and saved me a boatload of time! Very grateful for this superb and prompt support!

We really like this app. Found it very easy to install and use. We didn’t change any code as we didn’t feel you needed to. Have used it twice to run sales and it works like a charm. Would highly recommend if you need to put just one product or your whole store on sale.

The app has bug that sometimes changes price to 0 after disabling sale added through this app and sometimes sale didn't even removed from products even after disabling the sale through app. Upon reporting the issue the app developer told to keep the issue live to check this clearly doesn't makes any sense. We showed them screenshots but they want to see the live issues. They want us to keep the 0 value products live so they check and in the meantime customers keeps ordering those affected products and there's not way to fix all affected products at once. You've to manually update all products because price information completely removed by this app. If you've thousands of products don't use this app. You'll end up fixing most of the products manually that will consume enough time. Their support is terrible and slow. There's no such term priority in their support activities. Shopify agent told us that bold commerce is working on this issue and when we contacted bold commerce through their chat they said the co-worker will be available next day. Extremely disappointed.

Their install links and instructions are garbage. It shows the app as not installed by a default banner even when it's installed, then once you dismiss it, you realize it's just a marketing banner to get you to pay for the install. The install links don't take you to the actual install page, and then it's spread between different links rather than simple step by step instructions like most other Developers. Jacked up my website and doesn't work, it shows as very simple code copy and pasting, but obviously there's more than it, and since everything is all over the place, who knows if I missed a step. Support says they'll probably get around to helping fix it in 2-3 days. Longest I've ever had to wait for support. Makes me appreciate other developers by far...

Excellent app and even better support! I have a baby gift store and we recently updated our theme and the team at Bold kindly reinstalled their apps in my new theme free of charge and within the hour. I could not have ask for more and would definitely recommend it!

Have being using the Bold Product Discount app now for some time and certainly helps make life easier by quickly picking which items we are going to have on sale, I can assign how much, when they finish and what tags to assign to them. Had some other apps installed that impacted on the coding on the Bold app, i'd emailed their support team, to which Esha and Danni were excellent in not only working out the hard to find issue, but fixed it and also made some minor custom changes so it all worked well on our theme. I use 3 Bold apps and all have helped increase our sales. Product Discount is a quick and easy way to create a sale. I really like being able to set a schedule and the count down clock really drives the sense of urgency. Every time I've had a question I've been able to get support to help out. Really good app that will make your sales bigger and better than ever.

Not impressed that you're not able to set a variant sales price. If your store is user friendly and you use variants please be aware that this app will NOT and they REFUSE to make changes to the app in order to set different sales for the different variants. For example, if you have a product that has 2 variants and the second is just a multi-pack and you want to discount that variant and not the individual variant you CANNOT do that. I've paid for this app for over a year with promises of this addition and nothing still.

This product has great functionality however it has many bugs that have not been addressed over the last year. If you place a large number of items in a discount, the system will often hang or can take hours to apply. Even now, we have a discount with only 9 items and what should take less than a minute has been taking over 30 minutes while we stare a spinning "working" and no way to cancel or restart. So...our marketing campaign is on hold until this program decided to run today (a weekly event) and we're at the mercy of Bold tech support. We can open a ticket but often new tickets now can take over a day to respond so we've lost our window for our Monday promotion. I wish Bold would focus more on making their apps rock solid vs launching more apps and and features. My 2 cents...
