Bold Product Options was great but has stopped working in the past week. No response from the new owners Shop Circle yet. Their support portal seems to be broken also, can't make an account to view my support ticket. *Update, finally managed to speak with someone on live chat & they fixed the issue within a few minutes.

Customer service is fast and helpful. We had a problem with one of our product option sets and the representative I spoke to, David Thistlethwaite, was quick to respond (within 24hrs) to our questions. The problem we were experiencing was something Bold hadn't encountered before. After going back and forth for about a week, the problem was resolved when David suggested a work-around that ended up fixing our issue. Apparently, we may have exceeded the limits of one option set so all we had to do was create an extra option set for the remainder of the products. While it wasn't a clean resolve, I did feel like David had tried everything he could to fix our issue. I do have a suggestion, though. It would be helpful to have a toggle switch on the product options. We were running a sale on free customizations (which were the product options we created through Bold), and found that we had to edit the prices on both the hidden product variants created through Bold and the prices on the product options. Besides these issues, our experience with Bold has been great. Thanks for the excellent customer service!

The customer support is great! I was stumped about a problem I was having with an option set and Ahmed Piric was able to go in and fix it within a few days. Very helpful!

I had great support from Kenan helping me deal with an important issue of customers not getting charged for add-ons. He went through and figured out where the issue was and fixed it and said we won't have that problem anymore.

Alina and the support crew have helped me out every single time I've had an issue with the install on both of my stores. The app does what I need it to do and the UI is easy to understand. Reasons it's not a full five-star app: It is challenging to make the app work correctly with an AJAX cart. I've had the BOLD team do the code install several times and once or twice it seems like it stops working for unknown reasons. This is offset by the killer support team at BOLD. The other issue is customizability. The display settings are rather limited and while the app has a field for custom CSS, it would be really cool if you could do it through the UI. Silver lining: I've learned a lot about CSS by trying to get my options to look the way I want them to. Still not quite there but I'm getting closer! If there were a few more display options in the app it would be five stars easily.

I've been using Bold to update pricing and product options on our website. Overall, the app is very easy to use. Any issues I ran into were quickly and easily addressed through their awesome customer service. The only thing that has caused some issues is that the option sets I created are not listed in alphabetical order or date modified. It can become difficult to navigate if you have many options like I do. I'd give the app 5 stars if that was fixed!

The application is invaluable. It makes doing business for us so much easier. Then I had a technical issue and that is where things got BETTER. The tech support was great the whole way through the process. I was getting emails throughout the day with updates. Great Team Effort. Thanks BOLD.

WORDS OF ADVICE IF YOU DOWNLOAD THIS: save your self lots of time and frustration by reading and studying all the help article FIRST! There is some glitchiness that happens here and there where the product options won't show up or the conditional logic won't work properly. The app does work but for me, it took a while to get it working properly...... I use this app for the bakery - we literally have unlimited options and combinations that affect the pricing. The app is really great.

Just submitted a support request. Please deal with it immediately as I cannot spend any more time dealing with the problems. Sometimes the options show, sometimes they don't. I've done everything correctly.

I have to give the customer service support team some recognition here because they were extremely helpful in helping me get set up with using this App. I had some complicated logic and they really worked with me to get it to work. Have to give Rick a special thanks here. We are still deciding if this app will work for what we are wanting to do. But I would recommend anyone that is on the fence to certainly give them a try, because the app does offer some cool features and the support is there to help you through. Especially if your logic and needs are not overly complicated, the app will work great. I would certainly recommend.

We use Product Options heavily in our store and very possibly to a larger extent than any other store. The issues we have had with the app are limited, and the provided customer support has always been good. Aman was my most recent support rep and we greatly appreciate the time and energy spent dealing with us.

This is an incredible app with some GREAT features. And it does ALMOST everything we want it to do. Only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is because there is some room to improve (which their reps have even said is in the works). Additionally, the tech support for this app is INCREDIBLE!! I would give them 4.9 stars (only wish they were a little quicker, but usually within 24hrs.....I'm impatient). Samuel L was super helpful on our last inquiry, which was probably SUPER easy for him but gave us the attention and consideration that made us feel comfortable. As our experience with this app grows, we will definitely provide more reviews. Great app for stores that offer lots of customization and options. OUTSTANDING tech support!!!

Product Bold Options has been a lifesaver so far for our online shop. Our products have multiple dropdown options, some that affect price. Not sure how we would manage that without this terrific app.

I used this app to set up options on my online store. I love it but i want to be able to have one selection box for three choices and at the moment the app doesnt allow it. My Guru was Cody whom was very he;pful.

Good but not quite there. My goal is to create a product page with a tight set of menu options that can be expanded when chosen. Conditional logic works great for this but I would like more controls. For instance, the product description takes up a great deal of page space. I would like to see a description narrative that could be read and then collapsed. I have seen this on other sites where there is a "pull-down" widget that allows you to group text and options for selection when expanded and then collapse when done. A great app for creating customized options for the products and the customer service is great. The integration was initially quite tough but has become supremely easy thanks to an upgrade. Works well for my store and looks clean and neat. Options to change the look and feel are few though, which we think BOLD could work on :) Cheers guys
