Asking me to go premium before the app has even started to do anything of the free trial. Quite fishy

Stamped.io has a pricing plan that fits stores of all sizes and stages of growth, and our free plan will be sufficient for the basic functions that a store owner requires to start collecting written review from customers. There's no requirement for you to be on a paid plan to continue using Stamped.io as this is completely optional. We do recommend that you consider one after you are completely satisfied with our app, as it comes with a higher order limit for sending review emails, and a whole array of revenue-generating features for you to explore. new update (October 2023) THEIR SERVICE HAS BECOME PATHETIC! THEY CANT RESOLVE A SIMPLE PROBLEM. OUR TEAM HAS BEEN COORDINATING BUT THEY AREN'T ABLE TO RESOLVE THIS. update- after complaining they did respond, thank you. THEY HAVE STOPPED RESPONDING TO US AFTER SUBSCRIBING TO THEIR MOST EXPENSIVE PACKAGE. BEWARE BEFORE YOU PAY THEM SO MUCH !

App feature was good when I first stared using this app back in 2020. Now, there are many other review apps that have better features at much lower pricing. Also, I asked for customer support since my v2.0 theme wasn't showing review widgets correctly. However, their responsibility is poor, I had been waiting for many days now, and still no reply. Now, I decided to change review app to others. But exporting reviews are so difficult, since all photo review URLs cannot be exported. If you are looking for review app, and reading this comment, I strongly suggest you "don't use this app."

The way this app tallies reviews is silly. 5 days into the month and we were already at our 3500 review limit. Apparently, we have reviews from September still pending scheduling. You can never get caught up or start at zero because of the way this app adds. I dont even want reviews from 2 months ago. This structure does not serve the customer and ensures you always have to upgrade. I have no idea how to get reviews on current orders because the app is still spending reviews from September.
Hello there, Thank you for your feedback. The order limit are calculated based on the number of review requests sent for each successful order. If you’ve reached the limit on the plan, you would actually be able to increase your sending limit by upgrading to a higher tier plan that will meet your sending needs. Collected Annual Subscription payment (In excess of $1000) on a monthly basis. Very poor communication and am still currently waiting for a response to numerous support tickets and a refund. Such a shame as the app is fantastic. I have referred associates of mine to use the app and am so angry that I have received such poor customer service after being an advocate.

I've been using this app for almost 6 years. Today it went down during Black Friday. Literally the most important day of the year for my business. For me, that's a one strike your out offense. The cost to my business is immeasurable. I'm spending thousands of dollars on ads today, and people can't see reviews on my website. It's taking 2 minutes to load the review section. The dashboard won't load. An absolute fucking nightmare.

This is not a good app. It's a constant "give us more money" scam as most features are behind layers of paywalls. As soon as you hit your monthly limit of review requests you get asked to upgrade every 30 seconds. Everything about the "creating banners" feature is broken. It constantly makes you re-do your work and still messes stuff up. Support says they are aware of the issue and doesn't fix anything. Not sure how they got such a high rating, I would look elsewhere.
Thank you for your feedback. You're actually on the Business plan that allows you to request reviews from up to 1,500 orders monthly, and it's higher compared to comparable apps available. It seems you've reached the sending limit on the Business plan and therefore it's showing a modal that encourages you to upgrade the account to continue sending the remaining review request emails, or you can also simply wait for the monthly reset which happens on 1st of every month. Regarding the Smart Banners, it's recommended that you use Google Chrome to create the banners. Our support team will reach out to you directly to ensure that your issue gets resolved swiftly. Updated in 2024 July: Stamped changed its billing policy to a tiered one based on number of orders per month. We import all our orders from another platform into Shopify. These orders do not have email addresses and yet are counted towards the monthly order limit. 2020: I used this app to collect more user generated content e.g. photos, use cases for our products and also to display reviews based on product groups instead of individual products. Support was responsive and effective in helping us resolve issues encountered during set-up e.g. custom fonts, custom forms. Working great now. Thanks Alyssa!

I used Stamped.io for almost two years (not the 10 months shown due to technical reasons) and in that time the company went from being pretty darn good to pretty darn bad. Maybe it has something to do with the change in ownership, but I finally ditched this company in favour of a different one - for less money too. The deciding factor was page load times. My Reviews page at one point took 40 seconds to load! Across mobile and desktop, there was a real delay in any page that had Stamped code and that's just un-acceptable. The urgent communication with customer service took a day and here was the response: "Apologies for the inconvenience. Regarding the widgets speed issue, the engineering team is working to increase the DB capacity to improve the load speed. Rest assured that we are working to improve the speed issue and there will be a big difference very soon :) Let us know if there are any doubts on this." I had doubts and glad I switched. My page speeds are back to normal.

App is difficult to set up and use, does not work with gmail and did not collect any reviews for me during the six weeks I used it. When I decided to change apps, I was unable to download the reviews I had collected from another app and imported into stamped.io., despite following their method of using filters. If you have a lot of time and patience to spend chatting with customer support, you can probably get this to work. If you want an app that works out of the box, however, this is not it.

I own a very high-volume Shopify store. StampedIO is the WORST review app available. The pricing gets out of control as your business grows. When I tried to get my reviews 1st they won't give them to you. Then I had to get Shopify involved so they gave me a CSV file with formating issues so you have to reformate the CSV so it can be used.

I am updating my review to the lowest possible rating. I have been seeking help for the same issue for two months, yet I have seen no meaningful resolution—only repeated requests for more information. The assigned support representative, Arjun, has been unhelpful, lacks communication skills, and shows no real willingness to assist. Additionally, we will be switching platforms as Stamped has effectively stopped providing us with services, claiming we exceeded the order limit for our plan. This is incorrect—our marketplace orders are somehow being counted towards our plan, even though we are not supposed to send review requests to marketplace customers. Overall, I am downgrading my review from 5 stars to 0 if I could!"

Update 11/2/2022 - Loved Stamped before, but it's been having a lot of issues lately. The reviews are not loading properly. The app is very slow. Very disappointed with this app recently. We've been loyal for 3 years, but it may be time to switch to a better app. This app is wonderful. First of all, you get a really amazing support as you transition to their app. They respond really quickly to my questions/emails. They installed the app on our site and they even took out the old widget. Even before signing on as an enterprise user, they offered to migrate our old reviews to the new one. Love the interface and how you can customize everything. They have really amazing tools and features. Just loving everything about this review app. It's so easy and even if you can't do it yourself, you have a team that you can count on to help you solve any problems. I definitely recommend this app, whether you're a small business or a big company. Update 8/14/2019 - Still loving the app and customer service. The Instagram Feature is so easy to use and install to my site. Stamped.io truly has one of the best customer support out there. Thanks!!! <3 Update 2/12/2020 - The Stamped.io team is really wonderful to work with. They are quick to reply to customer support issues and they are great at problem solving. Love, love, love!

Pésima aplicación. Pagamos el plan Bussiness y tuvimos problemas tras problema. No vale lo que pagas por ella. Por ese nivel de precio es mejor comprar otra. Si quieres evitar tener muchos dolores de cabeza y malos ratos, no instales esta aplicación. ------------------------------ Bad application We paid the Bussiness plan and we had problems after problem. It's not worth what you pay for it. For that price level it is better to buy another one. If you want to have a lot of headaches and bad times, do not install this application.

Bad app, bad customer support. We are a small business and startup so we rarely if ever reached the 50 orders per month limit, but for some reason we were always over the limit and review request emails would never be sent. However, that didn’t stop Stamped.io from spamming us with emails that we have reached our monthly limit and should upgrade. We gave up on the app until 11/1/18 when we received an email from a customer. Our customer had received a review email regarding an order that was two years old. The customer was confused, upset and panicked believing that their credit card information had been stolen and used to make a purchase. I immediately checked our records and assured him that no new purchase has been made. So I contacted Stamped.io customer support for an explanation and resolution and this was their response, and I quote: "I checked that you are in the Lite plan and it comes with a monthly of 50 order limit and it doesn't meet your sending needs. …I suggest considering upgrading your plan to a great limit so you can send review emails for all the orders placed." So after two rounds of emails and never addressing why they were sending review emails to two year old customers, we uninstalled the app. Update: No, the issue was never resolved. However, we found a much better review app in Judge.me - no 50 order limit, review importer, more features, great support and it's FREE!

Stamped.io counts the number of orders review emails are sent out to. Once your limit is reached for the month, review emails will pause sending and accumulate in the queue. The review emails will resume sending: - on a new month when the limit is reset at the start of each month - when there's a greater order limit, an upgrade The customer had received the review email for the old order due to the large number of backlogged review emails in the queue since the app was installed. We do apologize for not addressing your query earlier and resolving your concerns. Stamped.io definitely has more value-added features compared to Judge.me, and our plans are priced competitively compared to other review apps in the market which offers a similar set of features. What is not written is that you can not translate the template with the Basic Plan. Very disappointing.
