I recently uploaded some older reviews from my website into stamped with no issues, but they are not showing up on the website. If anyone could help, would be great as seems like a really good app?

Setting up stamped.io as a first time user is quite confusing. The UX design is cumbersome and confusing to the non-technical user. It seems to have all the features needed to run a sophisticated ecommerce site. Support is available only through email, not text/messaging/phone, so getting answers to questions can be time consuming.

I just started managing the company's Stamped.io account actually and have some both positive and more constructive feedback. I love that the program has automated features to it, like sorting the flagged reviews versus the auto-published ones. The exclude certain terms tool is also super useful especially in our industry. Now, some feedback I have that may potentially help improve the platform is that the review request email templates should be easier to edit. In order to edit it, there are many broken-up sections so it is not super efficient to see the whole picture in one place. Also, it would be cool if there were more manual capabilities with sorting through the incoming, unpublished reviews. The customer support has been pretty good overall as well, although I do support the idea that English-speaking representatives help English-speaking customers for higher efficiency.

I am just starting to integrate the app into my Shopify store and cannot give a a complete evaluation yet It might be higher after I really have a chance to use it. I like the features and have it partially running on my site. I wanted to test drive the free version before deciding, which paid version would work best. There is no support for the free version so I am trying to find Youtube videos to help with my specific issues but this has been very time consuming. I am not a techie and run the store by myself, so I do not have a lot of time to invest. It would be nice if there was a good learning resource to help with the process of getting it up and running properly. Hopefully I can figure things out and get the most out of it.

We moved from Okendo to Stamped.io A recent move but hope it was a good decision. Now that we are several months into the process ~ we are still only about 50% set up. I'm paying for Professional Setup and Support each month but seem to not be receiving much follow-up support. I know I get busy and distracted but need Stamped.io to step it up. I already have Reviews.io knocking on my door...

The 1st line Stamp support team are fantastic. But the support behind them leaves something to be desired. It’s perhaps unfair to list all the issues we have had, having worked with this App for over 4 years, there are bound to be challenges. It has come to a point where we have to express how we feel more publicly. Recently we have again sent batches of review request emails out - and they haven't sent. We are told sometimes they take time for them to be 'processed in the backend' . We have had to request manual push of emails in the past. At the end of February we noticed that pending review requests had no products or product image - so we therefore could not send them out. As we approach 4 week later - still the Stamped Product Team are working on it. The support team are told that the issue is linked to the Shopify API and a recent product sync issue. The same issue stopped customers getting reward points on their other App. We do not know if this is impacting many brands, but if we can’t send our reviews, the App can not work for us. We say again – thank you 1st line support for all you hard work and trying to keep us position.

So far, it's an attractive review system and seems to have good functionality. The downside is that the help documentation is really, really terrible. Poorly written, hard to understand, vague, and some of it is out of date or missing important information.

Not sure yet. I am trying to figure this out. I am having major issue with trying to get Aliexpress reviews transferred. It just continues to say scanning. I also can't get the email DNS to be verified. It looked like i needed to add my email in the field. I now deleted whatever email code was in there and now i see errors in red. So far its a bad experience.

The customer service is very friendly and responds fast and proactively. The platform is user-friendly and it looks good. It is easy to use. The only hitch is that I wish Stamped.io would be one of the licensed apps by Google to syndicate both product and seller ratings.

If everything works, it works well. If it doesn't work -- you can expect a 3 to 5 day turnaround for technical support. I'm transitioning my 2 business accounts to another company. This will be a net loss of $125 for Stamped.io

Reviews in general are a PITA. I was with Stamped for many years until they removed the "free" version and started charging way more than anyone else for a review app. I was already on the fence about staying with them and ironically had a problem one day that they couldn't solve. I found out about the problem by searching the web, it actually had nothing to do with the app it was a Microsoft issue however they should have known about it. In the process of getting this problem fixed I felt brushed off by the rep. I checked on my end, and everything is fine, so you have a nice day kind of thing, and I decided to find another company and I am SO glad I did because the new company is a perfect fit for my business.

I need to change my review and say that this company is so big that is unbelievable that they don't have chat support or telephone support for urgent issues. I had a big urgent problem with customers getting 10x more points than they should and it was impossible to contact any support and had to wait for them to get back to me by mail. I will change my review when they update and add a telephone number to support or add a live chat. This company is too big not to have it.

Great App, I love it, easy to set up work etc and the price is reasonable. The huge minus is that to get the reviews for Google Adwords the plan is too expensive $200 other services that featuring Google reviews are much affordable. Once we have more reviews and more budget for reviews app we will move to another service due to the Google reviews only To recommend? - Yes definitely for low budgets. hillmangear.com

After using this app since 2019, I'm sorry to say there are some frustrating flaws which are leading is to consider migrating to another service. 1) You can't display a single review (as in one review). You can only display a review title, which the user has to click to see the review. There are a number of problems with this approach, the main one being that 99% of review titles are generic like 'Great service' or 'Great product'. This makes the reviews look fake and makes people less likely to click the title to read the review - even if they understood that you have to click to see the actual review, which most people do not. 2) You can't leverage reviews by integrating them into your content. It's infinitely more powerful when your marketing text is backed-up by a customer who says the same thing. But not being able to display a review makes this impossible (review titles are almost pointless as noted above). We've been told that to display a single review, we'd have to hire a developer to make a custom app. This sounds crazy for such basic functionality. 3) We often go through periods where in-page reviews don't display on the front-end at all. When this happens we try multiple browsers, try viewing on our phones over the mobile network (bypassing our ISP), clearing the cache etc. Then after a while, the reviews display agin. 4) The app is unacceptably slow 90% of the time - and we're on 200Mbps fibre with only two people using the bandwidth. Every click has a delay, it's crazy. Also, adding reviews in the Shopify editor is painfully slow, often requiring constant re-loads just to see them (often 3 or 4 reloads). 5) [Edit - this is now fixed] You can't search reviews! This used to work but it's been broken for months now, something support has acknowledged. If all you need is a decent system to collect reviews and display them on product pages, then great. But if you want to start leveraging your reviews in more places around your site, like the home page, landing pages, blocks etc, then I'd seriously consider another app. What's kept us using Stamped for so long is the great service and the people. But the crazy limitations and speed issues are forcing us to consider a different app (we're not looking forward to moving). Sorry guys, very sad to leave this review. Cheers, Ben

EDIT: Tommy sold the company and now whoever took over has slashed their customer support to non-existant. It used to be minutes to hours before getting help, now it's days to weeks. Really disappointed with the level of service now, to the point where we are considering moving to a different reviews platform. HANDS DOWN, the best review app for Shopify. Tommy Ong and his team worked relentlessly to make me a happy customer. I'm not sure this guy even sleeps - he often responded within minutes (at midnight, during the day). And he did everything he could to custom script a solution for me. Not only that, but I transitioned from another reviews platform with ZERO hiccups. They handled it all for me within a day. Hats off to the team at Stamped, you have an amazing product and support team!
