The app is great and so easy to use. It helps us track our inventory and we love that we can use our phones to look up product information right on the showroom floor, customers are impressed and it makes us look like a well run operation. I recommend this app.

Perfect app for adding barcodes to all your products instantly. There is an option to generate barcodes for products that haven't got them yet (or rewrite all of them with new ones). I guess this last feature is causing some issues with other users (probably that's why the rating of this app is lower that should be, in my opinion). The only option that I miss at the moment, is a way to define custom sized labels. There is a lot to choose from, but we need a really specific size. Could this be added, please? :)

Messes up ALL your barcodes. I have had to go back over 500 barcodes repeatedly until I eventually figured out it was this app messing everything up. Avoid.

The app is ok for a freebie. Would be good if it was able to do custom size of labels and perhaps be able to add a logo - the options are limited. We have made it work for us but would be great for it to be better

I used this app to create and print a barcode for an item that had just arrived and it erased and updated ALL of my barcodes in the system. THOUSANDS of items have to have barcodes reentered into the system. WEEKS worth of work.

Only suport for Avery and Dymo labels. Couldn't get it to print on my Brother labelprinter. No possibility to add custom label sizes . Fix those and you have a great app.

This app sucks. It does not work. After you create barcodes and go to print barcodes, it ALWAYS gives you an error message of missing one barcode so you have to repeat the entire process twice every time. So frustrating! It is wasting valuable time!!!

The app works, but could work faster. Also why is it not possible to print all labels for items received on a purchase order. Does not make sense you need to go one by one even though you already have all items and quantities in the purchase order.

5/6/21 Update: Got a printer like a Rollo and cannot use with it. Wish you had more printer options. Love that it's free! Was able to create bar codes for my products and print. NEED ability to pick starting label position on sheet of Avery 5160 labels. If I printed 10 labels on sheet, then next time I print, I would like to start printing at label position 11, not 1.

Hi, there! I believe you're referring to being able to start printing anywhere on an Avery page. In this case, some people have been able to flip the page around to print starting on the other end, in order to reduce that waste. The App seems to be doing what it's made for and quiet easily. Only down side is not having the option to add blank labels at the beginning of an Avery page. If I have already used half an Avery page for printing, I can't use the other half anymore :(

Hi, there! You're correct that there wouldn't currently be a way to add blank labels at the beginning, in order to only use a half page. Barcode labels by default are meant to fill the page, so your best bet here will be use smaller label sizes that will fit your labels correctly. We are new to shopify and trying to use the retail label app slows down our process but is the only no charge app available. On 50% of the product entry we have to keep re instructing the system to create barcodes and then print the label. Not one day of product entry has gone by without the system failing and us having to repeat steps over and over again on the same product.

Works quite well. Is buggy if your text isn't formatted correctly (if you have funny characters in your product title) Would be nice to be able to customise the layout and add logo / thumbnail - also be great to be able to use with other DYMO sized labels, not just the preset ones.

Really useful to create barcodes for uncoded products. I just wish it was an easier process, i'd like to Create barcodes and Print on one page, rather than having to retype all the products back in. Also if you could integrate Transfers with this app, so when a new Transfer arrives you can send all the products straight to the app, create barcodes if needed and print. To do this now, currently you have to copy and paste or input all the of your transferred products to create barcodes, and then do it all again print barcode labels. Other than that it's really good, and free!

Pretty worthless. It creates 8 digit bar-codes while in the USA Google requires 12 digit UPC codes. The App will populate your custom products bar-code locations with these 8 digit numbers and then Google will kick them all back and you will have to manually remove them. I submitted an inquiry on this and was told that these are actually GTIN numbers but Google reads them as UPC numbers. There needs to be a separate box to fill in for GTIN numbers on the product pages.

Thank you for the feedback! I can definitely understand the frustration with having to manually replace the barcodes with your GTIN numbers. An alternative option would be to export your products via a CSV file to change them in bulk and import them back into your store afterwards. That said, I'll be sure to pass that feedback on to the relevant team so that hopefully a separate field for that is added in the future.
