I give 6 STARS, not 5 ! I'm VBA dev, not CSS or HTML. The dev support of SEARCHANISE, Andrew and others, take care about my needs, and help me very shortly at all stage to reach my design and goals. It's done, then I give I repeat 6 STARS !

If you need an advanced search capability and you are on a tight budget, there is no better Shopify search solution than Searchanise. It has many of the Enterprise Search features found on the premium search platforms but at a fraction of the cost. Their technical team will help you integrate Searchanise into your website, and any technical / theme integration issues that arise are typically resolved within 24-48 hours. I highly recommend this capable search solution to my fellow Shopify store owners.

So impressed with this live search app. We've been able to bridge it with our Trustpilot, and get a general feel/insight for our customer search interests here at Reinforced Beds. Thanks to Stacy (customer services) for their help too.

The app is simple to use and super easy to install. At first, just like any new app it may seem intense, but the app allows you to select and configure all the settings you will need to run a great search tool on your site. I moved away from this app and chose another competitor and regretted it immediately. The flexibility and capabilities of this app speaks for itself! Love the way it simply indexes your store products and catalogs. I use this app frequently and update my settings every week to improve my stores search feature. The support staff is another reason why I switched back. Their support team is on it, and they usually get things resolved on the first try. Love this app and would recommend it to anyone!

Very powerful and customizable app. We have been able to configure it to do exactly what we need and more. And support has been timely and spot on when it came to issues I could not quickly figure out on my own. Worth 2-5X the price they are charging. I highly recommend them.

As far as Shopify apps go, this is a good one. They have especially fast and helpful customer support, as well. There's room for improvement, but this is definitely in the upper echelon of apps.

I'm not sure why only one product shows up as available for every product, have emailed videos to get help, but no one has actually looked into the issue or helped me figure it out so it is usable

I have just begun using the App but am impressed with how robust it is. The technical support for the App is terrific -- helped me re-color code my Search Results page and were very efficient. I think this will be a good addition to our website.

Seems to be a nice app. Support very responsive as well. The only thing I wish is that it was easier to control the upsell and cross sell items shown. You can set it manually or have it algorithm-based. But I haven't yet found a way to easily set different complimentary products for each main product (like butter with bread). If you use the auto feature, they say it uses data from sales in the past 60 days which seems to work well, but for new products or products that don't sell often (maybe you are like us where we sell a lot to distributors and not a ton directly on the site), 60 days isn't a long time. I would pay for pro in a heartbeat if it meant more customization over upsell and crosssell.

App has broken on our live website, very slow response time via email. No live chat service. Very disappointed, as the app had been performing really well. No live support and huge loss in revenue from our website not showing any products

Poor customer service and support. the products doesn't work with two languages even it is integrated with langify.

with this app you can search x-thousend of different products. top searchbar, top and very fast support.

Not usable for complex product names + Slow support: The support takes forever and they answer with a default message stating that they have an above average number of requests to excuse themselves for it. Its been this way for a year now and it usually takes around 4-5 days to receive a reply, which is unacceptable given the size of our business.

It fully meets all of our business's needs. A great many of the names of our products have different spelling, e.g. gage vs gauge, micrometer vs micrometre, caliper vs calliper, pilot pin vs eject pin, etc. We can simply connect those different spellings.

Just completed our trial with this terrific App for search and couldn't be happier. It is intuitive for our customers and the best thing is - our customers are USING it to shop and select products to purchase. Even the back-end reporting is cool. Highly recommend - and, it's a great value for a small store like ours (less than 500 SKUs)!!

Fantastic app. We have gone as far to use their search function as our default collection navigation. Quite an amazing feat for a third-party install and features. The customer service is even more incredible. 5/5

Ok, now we are talking guys. One thing you need to know (and it is maybe the reason you are here), is that Shopify got some limitations on the search engine feature (and/or some themes). So if you want your clients to find your products not just by their titles or types, you need and app like that one. With Searchanise, you can basically add keywords in your tags and the app will even learn from the behaviour and mistakes of your clients and will start to build its own database of keywords (but no worries, it won't mess up your tags) The reasons I picked that one (after many other trials) : - Easy integration on the website in two click. Works perfectly on desktop but most of all on mobile (80% of your traffic). It doesn't mess up your theme so no risk to try it. - It is not slow and the search results page is fully configurable. You can also decided of the style of the instant search design. I like it with 6 products on desktop. Not joking, clients can browse my website's products and categories just by using the instant search feature if they want. - You got a back up widget that you can display if your store doesn't not have a search engine, or if you just do not want it. Good to have - Think ahead if you have to translate your website in a near future. I mean, I haven't see another search app that can be translated in more than one language (if they can!). Here, you can connect to Langify and so make it in any languages. So think about it if you need to offer your website in more than one language. BTW, Langify is the best app you can find for translation. V2 rocks ! - you have many other integrations such as Wishlist (=it will search your clients' Wishlist too), etc. For my next website I will prioritise the ones that connect to offer a fully integrated experience. - You have plenty of other options such as synonims, black list etc. I am not using them (yet) but I assume it can be great for some websites. But the one I will start to configure this week is the one to showcase the product within the search tool. - I didn't realise it was compatible with Kit. I cannot use it for that website as my client is French (and Kit not keen to speak French yet), but I will use it for my other aussie client. If you have a small website (small catalogue) and no time, give a try to Kit, because once it is connected to an app like searchanise, this little PA will do the full maintenance of your website. Anyway, there is only few apps on the app store that are so well connected to others. Trust me, there is nothing more frustrating than installing your new search bar app, spend time to configure it and then 2 weeks later discover you have to switch to another because your new Wishlist app cannot communicate (ie) lol. Ah. The support. I needed them to adjust the design of the results page. Super fast, super polite and efficient. I didn't start with that point because let's be honest, I am not installing app to test the support lol and I think it is better to tell why I picked this app rather than than how they help me because I do not have the knowledge ;) I want and app that can be configured by myself at 100% and just ask support for the fine tuning. When you can achieve that, it means you have a very good app in your hands. And it is the case here guys.

Above all else, the responsive and expansive support from the Searchanise team is enough for me to recommend this app. Furthermore, the ease of use, intuitive functionality, Custom CSS fields for further customization, and out-of-the-box clean interface make this an exceptional service. Not to mention it's a bargain of a price! If you've had poor experiences with search tools or companies in the past, switch to this. You won't regret it.
