Excellent value for a search app. My favorite functionality is its ability to display category pages as search pages with built-in filters/etc. Support has been both excellent and not so excellent, but on my latest issue they were rock stars! My main critique is to provide better matching for search terms without adding synonyms. For example, the app will find product "Focus XT" but not "Focus-XT." I've added a synonym to take care of it, but there should be an option to at least ignore special characters.

I didn't even think about upgrading search. Little did I realize it's going to be the most important part of my shop. This app makes my shop professional and most importantly, it is going to help customers find what they need - quickly. I happen to be a picky designer, not wanting my shop to look like a collection of widgets, but rather a seamless design that suites my style. I sent an obnoxious list of design requests for very small changes to their team. Later in the day, it was all done! They've already put enough time into my shop to be worth years of subscriptions. I'm confident that if I ever get traffic, this app will help with sales - a lot. Not to mention, the search is phenomenal. I can type a misspelled part of a word, and it smartly searches descriptions and suggests the ideal results right away. You will no longer have to worry about customers knowing how to spell or even how to navigate your site. Some apps are glitchy, flash elements when loading, etc. Not this one. This is what any serious shop needs to get customers to what they want. That's what you want, which is why you're still reading. Download it now.

It was true that there were imperfections with using this app in Japanese language. However, after couple of reports from our side, they fixed everything! Search engine itself is so powerful and their suggestion function is very accurate. You don't have to click go back button, you would love this app!!

Love this app, customers don’t even need to use our menus they can find everything they need directly in the search bars and the added filters makes narrowing down selection even better. The install is easy and configuration a breeze it’s a win win all around for me. www.elimadent.com

This app is great. It takes a little bit of time to discover how everything works, but the integration is seamless. I haven't taken advantage yet of a fraction of what it has to offer and I look forward to doing so.

This app has been amazing at helping to make our products easier to find. With a large inventory, we struggled for the longest time with collections w/o adequate filters. That's no longer the case thanks to this easy to set up and customize app. Update: I will change my review to 5 stars when they implement swatches for Shopify (not just for Magento) products in a collection page.

Been using this app for years now. The search still works great and customer support is amazing. We have been able to customize the look and feel of our search and responses have been quick and accurate. We would absolutely recommend this app for someone looking for a new search app with a lot of functionality and outstanding customer support.

Impressive app! Customer service is helpful and quick. I use this app for multiple search features on my store, including color, width, size, etc. Works very well, and any minimal issues I've had have been addressed quickly.

Had an issue with search results and how they looked on the page (my theme layout rather than their app) and support has been excellent, resolving it the same day. Excellent app and putting it on my other stores right away.

I just recently came across Smart Search & Instant Search. There aren't enough words to describe this search app (pun intended).. It is absolutely spectacular and worth every cent. Just beside myself amazed at the ease of use and the customer support response time is uncanny!! Definitely a must have for any store! The results are astounding. Believe it or not I have found products I didn't even know we sell. YES IT'S THAT GOOD! No joke! Take it for a spin and try it out, you will realize almost instantly that this app is going to be an indispensible money maker for your store. The analytics are also spectacular!! This may be the best app I have downloaded for my site. Usually our shopify store won't show results for items unless that EXACT term is searched. For instance... If an item is titled and described as "Luffa Gourd Seeds" ... you would need to either type "Luffa" or "Gourd" to find it. If "Loofah" or "Loofa" is typed in the product wouldn't come up. After installing this app, it easily searches products with similar spelling and it even gives recommendations and live results right in the dropdown. We are using the free version but may plan to start paying because we love it that much. Awesome app guys! I was also pleasantly surprised that you can add filters even! This was a game changer as well since I thought I'd have to install a whole other plugin, but this one seamlessly throws in filters by using tags and categories etc. It's really amazing and well thought out. OVERALL... PROS: Filters, Live Dropdown Recommendations such as pages, products, categories etc as the user types. Quick to setup, Super fast on the storefront end, Very customizable, FREE!!!! CONS: None that I can see, literally....

The app was easy to install and the customization was fairly straight forward. I got a little tripped up on synonyms but then I read their help screen on it and it was fine. But what takes them to 5 stars is their service - i reached out about a "how to" to help me customize the look/feel, and they actually took on the task and made the updates to our backend CSS. Such great service!

We have used a couple other search apps from the app store which worked, but not exactly well. We were close to switching to a custom built search, but decided to exhaust our options within the app store first. We tried this app and haven't had a single issue with it thus far and it's been a couple months. I reccommend it fully.

We are on the Enterprise plan, and it provides incredible value. We've increased our page load speeds incredibly by switching our collection view to Searchanise from the default Turbo theme. This resulted in increased conversions and very happy customers. The search engine is blazing fast, and highly customizable. The team responds almost instantly to all issues, and we've had them do quite a bit of customization work for us at no extra charge to make sure the app works perfectly with our site and business objectives. I can't recommend the app and team highly enough - it's such an integral part of our site, I couldn't imagine not having it. App and team are both A+ and deserving of our 5-star rating. Thank you!
