Shogun is an awesome page builder — we love the functionality and flexibility! The app has definitely made building multiple page layouts super easy and quick for myself and my colleagues. Great page builder! Able to do things outside of Shopify themes, which have limitations. Really like being able to customize formatting across device sizes too. Great app.

We DEPEND on Shogun for our new site! We had a crisis during launch with a custom theme integration issue, and Shogun support took care of it no problem. They always understand exactly what the problem is and address it. Great product and support.

I have been using Shogun to build pages for 6 months or so and I love it. It is a super helpful tool that lets us making tons of customizations to our existing shopify theme. I highly recommend it.

*** Oct 10 update *** Edited to add a star because I received a full refund, but the developer’s reply is misleading. I can certify that the page format gets lost as soon as you remove the app, without having touched the page at all after uninstalling. I simply refreshed the live page on my site and saw it lose all the formatting at once. Still do not recommend the app, even though the support seems reactive. The price is ridiculously high and the plan is to get people stuck paying forever for something that could be done as a one-shot for the price of a single month charge. Unless you create new pages very often, it’s not worth it. ---- Here’s the only important thing you should know : if you create any content using this app, you will be stuck paying 40$ or more each month, FOREVER. If you delete the app, you'll lose all the formatting because it has its own coding format which only works as long as you’re paying. That is, of course, not made clear at all in the app info nor the Help pages.

Great customer service. I'm not techy so don't find it that easy to build the pages - but that's my fault - not the apps fault. And, at least every single time I email customer service they help me out and get back to me really quickly. Best page builder I've tried. Worth paying if you want to be able to build pages form scratch and don't want to have to learn how to code or pay someone to code for you.

After using them for 6 months, i have changed my rating to 5 star. The technical team really knows their stuff and will roll up their sleeves and help resolve whatever issue you are having. They are 100x better than shopify support (useless other than basic stuff), even better than klaviyo support and they are pretty good. The most important thing about shogun support (get the paid support, Worth more than the tool!) is they can execute! They can save you countless hours in trouble shooting. Whatever they cant do is usually a limitation of the tool shopify third party connection. They will try hard and thats what sets them apart. Best support of any app in shopify store. Keep in mind that most limitations are due to the shopify ecosystem… App is promising BUT I don't recommend it at all. If you even look at any production file in the editor, it will trash the theme and page look. You have to import into the editor. So you can't simply edit a page and it becomes a pain in the ass because the editor is not allowed to add code to the page by shopify. Thats why you have to import. so if you forget and go to a published page and open it in the editor, its trashed. Oh BTW if you use Rewind Backup app to restore the damaged file, it doesn't restore it because the extra code was added by Shogun. What it does do is restore the text that was saved... so you have to look for the code that was added and remove it.

Very good app. However, since it cannot be saved and there are many problems, I expect it for future development.
