We have a Shopify store with mostly unique single items and Shogun's app made it possible for us to design our pages to best represent our inventory. Great app.

Definitely solved a big issue for me. I really wanted to change the layout of product pages so that we could do a proper sell on the same page that people purchase. Doing so has greatly improved our conversion rate and we couldn't have done that without an app like this (check out eatlikeachief.com if you want to see our product pages). It's easy to use and support has been good too.

Shogun has completely changed my Shopify experience, we have built attractive 'About us', 'Community' and 'Wholesale' pages that would not have been possible without it. We also have streamlined our product pages a lot. We are also in the process to completely transform the layout and customer experience of our blog. The best thing about Shogun is that I can't stop thinking of more content and functionality to add to our store to make it look and convert better!

It's pretty darn good. I have very little coding background and was able to do this easy. It's not 100% super sleak on look on various platforms in terms of looks, but for the money I don't think you could find any better. 100% recommend.

Just started using this app and very impressed. Although there's a small learning curve, specifically to understand how to use sections/columns and how to organize the blocks so the web page will look nice on different screens. The support has a good learning base, tutorials and support seem to be very active. The cost is a fraction of what you need to pay for a web developer to get a similar result.
Marcus! Thank you so much for the kind words. There is a bit of a learning curve; but with good reason! (1) We want the editor to be super powerful, so you can really customize your layouts. Unfortunately, it's not always easy to balance power and usability, we tend to default on the side of power. (2) Some page builders (like Wix or Instapage) let you drag anything anywhere you want and "pull" to resize elements and image. Super easy to use, but this kind of editing (called "absolute positing" can adversely impact SEO and mobile responsiveness). In regard to easier mobile editing, I 100% agree, and we will be making it possible to style elements at the screen size level quite soon. I use this app to create custom landing pages mostly, and it has been a tremendously helpful resource their development. adding, and manipulating content blocks is easy and intuitive, and you can expect a welcomed amount of customization potential. The only reason I'm not giving this a 5 star is that I would like to see more control of text related properties, as well as an AJAX cart integration. This App is well worth the money!!

Shogun provides an excellent tool for building custom pages. We've been using it on multiple stores for a while now and helps keep us agile. +Customer support team is very prompt to assist with any issue.

To be honest, at the first moment I was a bit skeptical but Shogun exceeded my expectations 110% + they have amazing customer support! My goal was to find the landing page builder on shopify. I found Zipify pages long time ago but Zipify was a bit pricy. Shogun is $39 with a huge trial period. Truly - this is the best app I've ever used! Andris

Update after years of use -- still one of our best apps for Shopify. Great customer service as well (thank you Chris!) ``````````````````````````````` So, after using Shogun for about 2 months now, I feel like we have enough experience under our belt to leave a review. Unequivocally, Shogun software is our favorite app. It took us a little getting used in the very beginning (maybe an hour or so), but quickly it became very intuitive to use. Once you get going, there really is no limit to building incredible web pages. Let’s face it – Shopify blog pages look like %#$@. With Shogun we are able to format our blog posts to look visually appealing and inviting for our readers. There are options to adjust fonts, headings, background shading and we can add pictures, videos, tables, buttons, sliders to make the post really *pop*. There’s even an option for adding HTML so that you can directly add Pinterest pins. Very cool. All of this page formatting can be done minutes. Best part of Shogun is around SEO – the app allows for you to customize your page titles, meta descriptions, meta titles, etc. So finally you can be found and rank in the search engines. Last point I want to make about Shogun is their customer service. I’ve had to contact Shogun’s customer service in the beginning with a few questions. Their response was very fast, very clear and they provided great direction. There was no need for back and forth communication, which can be a huge frustration and a headache. If you are deciding on whether to try Shogun, I would urge you to check it out. Although they have a free trial period, I’m pretty convinced you will be hooked.
