These guys are the freakin best! Seriously... their customer service is outstanding, and product is absolutely incredible. I wouldn't have been able to make my site without Shogun, and the team's response and turnaround time to issues is second to none! Recommend 100% to all Shopify store owners!

UPDATE 2024 - although the product is good. The price has unfortunately increased 300-500% ($69 pm to $250-500) to which is beyond excessive. Locked in as have pages built here. Expensive lesson to learn, would avoid. ----- Shogun is easy to use and we created most pages with it. The service is very good. When we have any questions we always receive support and an friendly answer even on the same day. In many cases, an employee from shogun fixed the problem for us and explained how we could deal with it the next time. Sometimes, the layout of the preview at shogun looks different then the published page (desktop and mobile). In addition to that, it is not that easy to create a page that looks good on every smartphone. All in all, Shogun is a very good program for people who would like to create pages very easily. I really recommend it!
Hi there, Josh. Thanks for sharing your feedback in the form of this review. I am sorry to hear that you are facing issues with the pricing changes we have had. However, this price changes have been in effect for a while now. I see your account was installed on our legacy plan that would have stayed if the app was installed. Having said that, when I look at your account I see that Shogun was uninstalled on December 15, 2023 and that removed the legacy plan. Our old plans were deprecated a long time ago and we don't have a way to move you back to them again. With respect to the price increase, a big part of this is related to significant changes to our product and company. We were a “page builder” for a long time; however, we’ve expanded our offering to include core optimization features, including AB Testing, Targeted Experiences (personalize content to audience), SEO tools for keyword discovery, AI-assisted blog generation, and page performance monitoring. We have removed page limits for any plan higher than the new Build plan and we have removed the user seat limits which means there are unlimited seats and there are unlimited sections as well. However, we appreciate your feedback and I am happy to share the same with the team. I see you are in conversation with my colleague and if you have any further questions please do let us know. Shogun is 5 stars to me, it is very useful at a fair price, and love customer support, the response times are fantastic, which is key to me.

This app is so helpful because it eliminates the need to know any code. Everything is drag and drop and WYSIWYG. I've used another competing competitor but it was not nearly as cleanly designed and easy to use as Shogun. Service so far has been amazing, and they've even implemented some features that I requested. This is truly a top notch professional product, not some amateur app like many others out there. At only $9/month for the lowest tier, this product is a steal.

This app is just amazing! It made building beautiful pages a breeze and you can easily alter and play around because it's "what you see is what you get". Well worth the money and the support is also lightning fast! Be sure to check the support site for tutorials and updates. They constantly add new features and at the time of my review just released a full width option. I'm usually not the review writer but they just plain deserve it!

Nick and Finbarr, are amazing! I was having trouble with videos on my site. I contacted the theme developer who told me that it wasn't a problem with his theme and that he wouldn't help me. Desperate to figure out what was going on I contacted Nick who researched the problem and found that it was actually a problem with the theme. But instead of telling me it wasn't his problem Nick and Finbarr went into the code and fixed everything. Thanks guys, you are the best.

I have been using this app for a long time to make pages for my site. I tried quite a few and loved this one. Plenty of options for a building a custom page and support was always great. I would argue that this is a must have feature if you need supporting pages and want your site to look professional. RARR Sportswear www.rarr.com

Top notch product and fantastic support! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Shogun to any of our clients. We had a very specific technical issue and their team jumped onto our site to help with a fix.

I love this app- allows me to customize my site way beyond whats possible with Shopify and without knowing much HTML. It's easy to use and the customer service is great- they are quick to respond and have complete, clear answers.

Shogun takes page-building to an all new level! The page builder is easy to use, and I was able to train staff members in one short training session to be able to create great-looking pages for our Shopify store. It's been a huge help with product pages where we tend to have a lot of copy and photos and we've just begun using it for our blog pages too. Highly recommended!

I have been very impressed with this app. We transitioned to Shopify from Bigcommerce. We were excited for the additional features that Shopify offered. However, page building was still somewhat difficult since I have very little HTML knowledge. Shogun makes it extremely simple to create beautiful pages. In addition, I have reached out to their customer service three times now. They have responded within a couple of hours and have always fully answered my questions. I'm very impressed with Shogun and highly recommend it!

We absolutely love this app! Needs a little practice to be able to use the full potential of it but it offers plenty of options to design pages.

I've really come to rely on Shogun. It makes my pages and blog posts look a million times better than I would be able to do on my own. Easy to use and the support is lightning-fast and extremely helpful. Highly recommended.
