Why pay for an expensive Shopify template? You can take a basic FREE shopify theme and use SHOGEN to add complexity and depth. When you get bored and you want to change the look of your site this app makes it really easy to do. I can`t code and don`t want to waste valuable time trying to learn to do so and as a small enterprise need to keep an eye on expenses. Highly recommended.

I'm just getting started with Shogun, but so far it is very impressive. I just finished trials of each of the main page editor apps here in the Shopify marketplace and Shogun is the winner BY FAR.

There is not much I can add to previous reviews. I can reiterate this is one of the best apps I have used. I do more Wordpress than Shopify. I had convinced my client to buy a high end theme because there was not the budget for a custom coded Shopify site. The theme's home page was well designed and had several options but I was surprised how bland the rest of the layouts were. I have a technical background but was not very familiar with either Liquid or the Shopify interfaces. This app allowed me to customize the site and avoid the $100.00/hr Shopify expert fees. Not only is this app is great for someone who does not know much html, css (or sass) -it is timesaver for someone like me - it puts my design/development into power mode. I appreciate how they structured the UI - there is nice feature where you can add a class to your component. Also their support is fantastic. I admit I did not read the documentation or look at the videos - at first. I would send them email that blah-blah was wrong and they would politely inform me what the issue was. 90% of the time it was my error. Next time, I will not bother buying a high end theme.

What a relief it was to discover Shogun! Creating new pages for our store is so much easier now, and the app works exactly as it is meant to. The drag & drop interface makes a big difference, and there is real potential to dive in deeper if that's what you are into. Support from the Shogun team is also exceptional, with fast responses and friendly advice both during initial setup and also when encountering a few quirks particular to our store. Highly recommended - this app has saved us both time and money and we look forward to continuing with Shogun well into the future.

I would highly recommend this app because it works great and the support service is timely and excellent. I've tried several other trials/free apps, but nothing works nearly as well as this, or has as many customizing options as this app. I'm happy with the features it offers and have no reason to look around. Don't waste your time elsewhere.

Drag and drop simplicity yet powerful enough for the code junkies like myself to make pages look exactly as you want them too. Perfect customer service **After using a couple of days** I absolutely love this app. It's amazing how simple this really is. I'm having blast setting up the pages THANK YOU FOR THE GREAT APP. I did a free trial with this company. Since they have short trial period, i installed the software, tested it out and then deleted the app. Couple days later after testing out several other options for the same result , i forgot to test another feature that was a must for myself and installed the app again Apparently by installing the software then removing it, and doing it again because of the short trial period, it triggered two charges on my account. One for each trial. Not only is the trial period too short, not only did the they charge my account twice for the same app, i didn't find what i was looking for with the software provided (prompt response from nick) Nick, contacted myself and clarified the reasoning of the short trial and I agree with him on that, as i did not realize the reasoning for their decision. Having said that, I am now re-evaluating the software again as Nick mentioned a feature that i now need to try again out the software again. Plus a review below mentioned that new updates are coming which will add to the tools and functionality available. This error in payment actually helped me look at this software again, as I was hitting a road block for what I was looking for. Nick mentioned about 3 months ago that some new updates where coming. I also just reviewed on Sept 19, 2016 couple new editions to the app store as competition. The good news, this will now increase the features and tools for page creation which shopify has been lacking in the past. Will be interesting to see how all these 3 new apps now compete against each other.

This is the best app of all the apps we use in our store! Wish we knew of it sooner. We can make awesome pages now ourselves versus spend all that money to designers at $50.00/hour.. Great job! 5.5 stars

This is the real deal. You can 100% build all the pages you've been wanting for your Shopify store (without breaking the bank on a designer). Plus, these guys are ridiculously fast at finding solutions. I sent two questions, got a response in like 5 minutes, and then they wrote an article with a solution for me by the next morning. A great product combined with REALLY good customer service make these guys irresistible.

Game changer. Create pages (product pages, landing pages, etc) with drag and drop. Allows you to see how they look in mobile on-the-fly. And finally understand how padding/margin/etc work with CSS. Great stuff

Too easy to use! I know nothing about coding a website and this app saves me from having to pay THOUSANDS for a pro to re-layout a few pages. Supports are top notch and the app works flawlessly with Google Chrome browser.

Amazing app for one and secondly the best customer service I've ever experienced. I needed another function in the app and while most would then spiral into weeks of debate over it here it was DONE IN LESS THAN 24 HOURS!!!! Simply amazing. Can't recommend highly enough! THANK YOU!

The Best Page Builder app for Shopify ! Makes creating pages real easy without needing to have any coding skills. Shogun support is amazing and super responsive.
