None of the shipping details print out on this new APP - don't know if it is regular, expedited, post, courier etc This needs to be FIXED

If you de-select the "packing slip" option, it says unable to find order on shopify POS. I wish shopify would stop changing things that no-one has asked for and work on the multiple other issues in POS.

Install and use is easy. What i am missing is the integration with adapt. No localisation and it does not use the store language. For who is not able to code just do like i did. Create a page in your shop, change to the html view, paste the code of your slip, invoice whatever you want to modify and change to edit view. Make you changes avoiding to cancel any field, change to the html view copy your code and paste it in your printer template. DONE

I would NOT recommend this app. I have been forced to swap from the old order printer (legacy) to this new rubbish Shopify Order Printer. They gave instructions on how to migrate your old template over but I'm not familiar with coding so I can't do it. My invoice is missing things like gst, the shipping address, the discount amount, notes and other things. Very unhappy!!!!!

Able to customize this new template with no issues. Able to add image (logo) on it. Updated the code manually but not very complicated. Need to have a basic understanding of coding, including CSS and liquid template. I give it 4-star because of not able to automatically migrate templates from the old version.

This migration was fairly straightforward but you need to engage the same developer that wrote your original templates. Seems like the variables now need to be explicit, the types have been made consistent for things like addresses, and there is a better hierarchy now so you can drill down in a more logical way to the thing you want to include. If I was writing templates from scratch, I would prefer this over the old version. The only thing I haven't been able to figure out is how to make the borders as thick as the borders on the legacy version, but that is just my own shortcoming I think.

this app is horrible, why are you removing the legacy app and forcing this replacement on us ? Did you find a new way to extract extra money from us ? did you learn something from a youtube side hustles video for a famous influencer ? do you know that day by day it is getting cheaper to make a custom website with great hosting and 100x better support ? do you also know that if your company gets too expensive with all these new hidden costs, people will shift to a platform that will accommodate them better ?

The app says it is customizable, but it is not. you can not add logos, remove pricing, add instructions for use or anything. The legacy app was WAY better than this! DO NOT INSTALL.

Why.....? The legacy app worked. It's more flexible, holds features this app doesn't and this app requires work from a specialist to convert old templates. Furthermore, the instructions to create a template are false: https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/orders/printing-orders/shopify-order-printer/customizing-order-templates When you "open app", there are no "templates", nor a "create a template" option.

As for the 'template's option, when you open the 'Shopify Order Printer' app, you should see 'templates' appear as an option on the left-hand side of your screen. In new Order Printer the displayed div is too small. When the customer address is long, the displayed content overflows. Meaning what Order Printer shows isn't what gets printed. This works properly in Order Printer (legacy) I tried replacing CSS: Polaris-Box with: Polaris-Box printer-inline-preview But this doesn't fix the issue. Polaris-Box div width is too small and Polaris-Layout CSS doesn't flex correctly in the new app. Please fix.

Countering many of the poor reviews here, this app has been a LONG time coming and sorely needed. Previously Shopify had no support for Invoices. If a customer asked for an invoice, there was no way to pull it up, other than installing third party app workaround. That was a huge gap in any b2b workflow and this finally fixes it. Users have always had to know a little bit of HTML, CSS and Liquid to customize an invoice so I'm not understanding the complaints. There also appear to be unlimited templates that can be added so I dont understand some the reviews saying there are only 2. Yes, 2 pre-made, but you can duplicate and create as many as you need. I get that templates have to be done again and that's a hassle, but the old app was a dead end and needed a complete rebuild which is what Shopify is delivering here. My team and I are thrilled that this is finally available and I look forward to leveraging its capabilities into our workflows. No doubt Shopify can and will build on this new foundation.

*editing the review to reflect the final outcome and thoughts! Original review below updated* To anyone reading this who hasn't installed the app, please take the negative reviews lightly! Many of us came and reviewed right when the switch happened with a lot of frustration! The templates from the legacy app (no shade at all to the team who had it, the templates were lovely and I am sure they did the best they could with the tools they had at the time!) are very code-heavy, and a lot of that code is no longer needed in the new app. If you do not have a pre-existing template, this app will be great for you! To those reading this who are frustrated by the issues, bugs, etc involved with the switch, please trust me when I say I was in your shoes! But please trust me when I say that this switch is better in the long run, and the team at Shopify will help you! They helped me, and Mike P. was able to get my templates working again. After getting support from the team at Shopify, I have completely changed my mind about this app. The transition was difficult, but after talking with the team and seeing the fix they did to get my template to work, it really just came down to the amount of code that is no longer needed that caused the issue! From what I can see, this version of the printer app operates on a more efficient level of coding. To the point that I feel confident with my minimal level of liquid that I could go in and update the templates (if not make my own!) On the previous app, the code was very complicated and hard to look through, but they have truly made it a lot easier! I feel that as long as people are willing to work with the team at Shopify to get their templates moved over, the new app will be a great option moving forward! --ORIGINAL REVIEW BELOW-- At the moment if I could rate 0 I would. I will give 1 star to the friendly Shopify agents who are probably getting bombarded by requests from this. This app is not user-friendly. At all. It has less functionality, if you don't know code at all, good luck. Even if you just copy the entirety of the code on your old template and paste it in, it doesn't work. When you do reach out for help, you are asked to look for lines in the code yourself which, thankfully I have a little knowledge in, but I can't imagine having to try and do that when you don't know code. I was also told I may need to get a Shopify Expert to look into the code, to which I said no. I am not going to pay someone to help me fix something that isn't broken so I can migrate to an app you are forcing us to move to. Shopify is a great platform, and I am hoping they will make some SERIOUS improvements to this Order Printer soon because as of right now I stand with all the other 1 star reviews.

Don't delete the Legacy app until they fix the issues with this one. I regret deleting it as you can't download it again. The major issue for us is that it cuts off order if they're longer than one page, and sometimes randomly only prints half the page or less. It can't do the one job it's supposed to, which is to print orders. Edit: They HAD it working on the afternoon of May 24th, but it's broken again this morning on May 25th.

Ich bin schwer genervt, war in ewigen Chats, habe natürlich keine versierten HTML-Kenntnisse und verzweifelt versucht unsere Invoices B2B und B2C mit dieser App wieder hinzubekommen. Ein Albtraum, der viel Zeit kostet für bitte was? Ich verstehe nicht wirklich was diese neue Order Printer App soll? Gut fände ich, wenn man wählen könnte, ob man die neue installieren möchte oder einfach seine "alte" und bestens funktionierende weiterhin nutzen kann.
