Single: musicians & creators

Michael, This is now our third digital release with you and I cannot express enough how beautiful the interface is. Not only is it user-friendly, but the integration with our backend is just flawless. Working with your team has reduced our setup time with digital download content management and releases by 80%. Furthermore, we are not encountering nearly as many questions or hurdles from major labels / distributors. As you are well aware, Q4 is just an explosion of sales and promotions, but with SOPs your team has in place, we have found working with Single for downloads, livestreams, and reporting; quite beneficial and seamless. We've been working with Single Music for over a year now, and it is a total dream. They are always available to chat, answer every question thoroughly, and seem to be constantly improving the app and adding things on I wouldn't even have thought to request. They solved a long-standing issue with us delivering music digitally via Shopify. We are an indie music label, and selling music digitally this day and age is imperative, and they made it smoothless, hi tech, AND they report all sales to Soundscan! They even assist in some of the customer service that selling digitally creates. We can't say enough about them!

I'm able to combine an Album Download with a physical CD that I'm fulfilling in-house (instead of CD Baby, etc.). Combined with the ecommerce capabilities of Shopify, Single Music is freakin' awesome. I can: +Create discounts. +Send out free downloads for reviews/networking (well, I guess it costs me $.015, less than postage for a CD). + Integrate the product with a marketing campaigns/tools. I already have an Art/T-shirt brand, so adding music alongside my other products is awesome. Functionality seamless so far. Support is fast and thorough. Do it.

We chose Single Music for easy integration with Soundscan reporting. The setup took less than a minute, I had friendly support on chat on a Saturday morning, and I didnt' even need the help - I literally just imported by products, set up preorder dates and was good to go. Shockingly easy and intuitive. Great UI/product dashboard as well. Highly recommended.

Single music is the most effective and efficient Shopify app for selling digital music, period. I use it for all of my artists and recommend it regularly.

Great App and great staff helped me out a lot hopefully they will add customer accounts so when a customer comes on to your website they can sign up and have their own customer page/dashboard with a friends list, their purchased history, playlist, and such I highly do recommend this app for your store!

Great good app but i only give 3 stars because the app don't have a preview player for the tracks. Thats very important. *I just need the support from Single Music. unbelievable how fast they are. That's why they now get a star on top.

The app is really easy to use and has the BEST customer service. Super responsive, prompt and helpful. I love that it automatically submits all our data to SoundScan without us having to do the tedious legwork. Highly recommend!

Finally - how did we not hear about this earlier? Soundscan reporting is fantastic to have. Looking forward to this being built out into a more fully-featured app. Edit, March 2020: It's been two years, and the app still feels like rough like an unpolished beta. Issues: • Pain point: Track upload and metadata entry are painful: unable to upload more than 3 concurrent tracks, locked out from adding metadata for tracks during upload, unable to add track titles while 3 files are uploading. • Bug: Creating dozens of tracks (for larger albums) at once creates track number duplicates. • Bug: Album art randomly disappears in the dashboard. • Bug: Physical products not always found when trying to attach a digital release. Wishlist: • Bulk edit tools, cloning metadata between tracks to avoid extensive manual data entry that could be avoided • DDEX ERN support for automatically creating releases via existing music aggregator distribution flow • Allowing metadata to be edited after locking a release • More control over how Shopify products/collections are created, tagged, managed. • External product fulfillment, e.g., via codebanks • Whitelabeling / custom branding. • Custom mailservers. Email notifications/order redemption go to spam. • Integration with other smart link platforms (linkfire, Smarturl, etc.) • Data analytics/retargeting/marketing options • More extensive metadata: P-line/C-line support, publishing fields per track (PRO info, Publisher/Administrator, multiple ISWC support)

Very nice app. I have a bunch of music I want to sell digitally on my Shopify store, and Single handled that seamlessly. Fast, friendly and efficient customer service too.
