It works pretty well. The only thing I don't like is that the emails keep going into customers' spam folders currently. Hoping this eventually graduates into the not-spam territory. But Moe was especially helpful in delivering the info I need to fully grasp the situation and how to resolve the aforementioned issue. I truly do appreciate the support even though we're not a paying customer right now. I cannot speak highly enough of the support that's normally afforded to paying customers only in other apps. When we finally get a steady profit going, I plan to go to the business owner to recommend the next tier to pay it forward. Really, thank you.

Good morning Green Zebra Markets team 😊 Thank you for your feedback. It looks like your SmartrMail account is currently sending from one of our shared sending domains. While this is a good option to start sending email campaigns, it is highly recommended to set up a custom sending domain in order to authenticate your emails in the eyes of inbox providers such as Gmail, Outlook and Apple Mail. Failure to do so can sometimes lead to some emails reaching spam folders as it essentially prevents inbox providers from confirming that your emails do come from you, and not from someone else "acting as" Green Zebra Markets. I believe that Moe recently reached out to your team in order to assist you in setting up such a custom sending domain. I have no doubt that the issue you reported will be fixed after this change has been applied. Looking forward to seeing your email campaign results once your sending domain is sorted! This is by far the best pop up app I've found out there, and I've tried all of them. The best thing about it is that it sends the new email signup directly to Shopify so you have them in your Customer list without having to add it manually. I also really like that you can then send automated email series without having to think about it. I gave it 4 stars because some of the functionality of the design of the pop up could be expanded like the thank you pop up has to be the same size as the original pop up and you can't format it independently. Also there is a disconnect between how the pop up looks in the editor, and how it looks on your site. You need to edit it while looking at your site to make sure it turns out ok otherwise it will look very weird. Customer service is excellent.

I passed on your feedback to our development team who is now looking into making the size of the Pop-up's "Thank you" page editable. I'm expecting their change to be available over the next couple of days. When it comes to the disconnect between the editor and your site, it appears to be linked to external CSS and code affecting your original SmartrMail Pop-up. The same developer is looking into it. We'll get back to you as soon as we've located how to prevent this from happening. The trial was great because you get ALL of the features of the app now that I have signed up for an actual plan I feel like you shouldn't have to pay for the unlimited plan in order to get the abandon browse automation. I just think it is a bit excessive to be paying that price to get that one feature added. I think 19.99 may be a bit much. Time will tell if it's really worth it.

Trovo quest'app facile da usare. Creare newsletter e automazioni è molto semplice con SmartrMail. Do 4 stelle perchè manca un sistema flow intuitivo che permetta di creare da zero delle automazioni più complete.

Update: If you are switching from MC, be extremely careful using SM automatic list import feature, dont use it at all. Its importing your unsubscribers as well Also SM creating accounts for them on your Shopify and mark them as accepting marketing and resulting in messing up your data. ----------------------------- I choose this app because it was the most reasonably priced email platform out there. Other options were ridiculously expensive. Simple to use decent app. However there are some issues needs to be addressed by their team. Once I switched from MC using their automated tool, they imported my unsubscribes as well and mark them as subscribers. For that reason my first email got very high amount of complaints. Secondly they created accounts on my Shopify for those emails accounts that unsubsribed and marked them as subscribers on Shopify , which is not good if I decide to switch platforms in the future. If they improve their platform and make it more sleek and without glitches, while not increasing prices , they would do very well. Also a better pop up email collection feature would be nice.

For the customers that were affected, we'll reach out to sort that out. You can upload a list of the unsubscribes into Shopify and it will fix the issue. We also do have a new popup on the way this year! We'll be sure to let you know when it's live 😊

Not an bad email app at all. Somewhat easy to use on the first try, definitely got better with time! The mobile app vs the desktop needs some improvement because of emails not showing up the same in the edit as it does in the preview!! Overall, customer service is awesome and I’m still using the app to send my emails!!

Hi Nicolas, I use this app for my newsletters. I this that the template for the newsletter is really good. The problem that I have is adding new clients to receive my newsletters. It's very monotonous. Also, one of my clients received the same newsletter four times. Thanks!

I really love this app and the people behind it. Has most of the functionality of the previous app I was using, but with SmartrMail you can speak to/message with real people. People who are helpful and can help navigate. The only reason for a 4 star v. 5 star review is because I’d like to see bit more functionality and design elements. BUT, I know these are in the works.

Changed over from Mailchimp (used this app for approx 6 years).It is a lot quicker and easier to use! Although a bit more expensive but we can justify this with saving time. We also have the option to do a one to one mentoring so that we can learn as much as we can and get the most our of our database.(Mailchimp never gave us this opportunity so we had to teach ourselves). The only thing we would ask is that Smartrmail bring in the option to put emojis in the subject line like Mailchimp as it helps create a EYE CATCHING email which is SOOOOOOO important when sending an Email out! So overall.....so far so good! JULIA CEO
