THEY HAVE NOT VERIFEID MY ACCOUNT, AND CHARGING ME PAYMENT EVERY MONTH OF $65.93. THAT'S SO WRONG. I HAVE NO IDEA, WHERE THIS COMPANY IS LOCATED, AND WHAT TYPE OF LAW THEY ARE FOLLOWING.
Hello - We have not been able to reach you to either by email or by in-app message to get the required information to verify your account. When the free trial expired you were charged as is normal for trial periods. If you could please reply to our requests for verification I'm sure we can resolve this for you. It is important that we verify SmartrMail users to ensure the best delivery rates for all of our subscribers.

Do NOT use Smartrmail Enhanced. I used this app for years without problems. I got a pressure sale and BIG promised of how they were going to bring in big money for me. The email automations they created had nice designs. However, they used AI to generate content, which caused errors (linking my business incorrectly, wrong address, most importantly wrong branding, etc), they lost 26000 email accounts, promised deadlines they could not deliver and did not deliver on, AND their recommended products feature glitched over and over again for months and the issue never got resolved. All in all these "supports" caused loss of business and customer reach. I asked for and was promised a refund for the loss of email addresses, etc. They then claimed they could not see the charges that had gone through every month. I shared screenshots with them of the charges, and they claimed that this was not sufficient proof. i spoke with shopify and they said this is the best proof I could give and they app had avenues to find out about the charges. Don't invest in "help" from Smartrmail enhanced.
This is not an accurate portrayal of what SmartrMail and SmartrMail Enhanced services provide at all. You reached out to us prior to the holiday season for recommendations on how to boost sales and we offered to create email automations for you to automate weekly newsletters and follow up with customers. Neither the templates nor any content were generated with AI and the wrong address and branding were not included in your templates. The recommended products did not glitch, there is a difference between what products will be displayed to a customer vs what will be displayed in a test email sent to the account owner who doesn't have a purchase history that would contribute to what products are recommended. No email addresses were lost and we spent a great deal of time helping you to restore lapsed subscriptions that had been removed so that your emails were only being sent to the most engaged users in order to maximize the return on your investment in email marketing. There are humans behind the scenes here, not bots, so it is true that a deadline may slip past us occasionally and we're sorry you were impacted. We do apologize for the technical difficulties we encountered with the refund. These are now resolved and a further refund will be processed today.

Terrible app with harmful presets. If you agree to the 'terms and conditions', then you'll be authorizing this app to send pre-fabricated, poorly formatted emails (without any prior notification) to your entire email list. This app doesn't respect the user and takes ridiculous liberties using the shared data from your Shopify store. Stay far away.
Hi there. My name is Peter, and I’m a Customer Success Manager at Smartrmail. Thank you for providing your feedback. We take accusations of sending unrequested emails on our customer's behalf very seriously. At its core, Smartrmail is designed never to send an email on a customer's behalf unless they have opted in or agreed. After triple-checking our logs, I can confirm that you activated Product recommendation emails. Here is the time and date stamp for the same => (2:52.52pm Dec 5, 2024). This was then disabled at 8:12:56 on December 9th, 2024. During that time, an automated email went out to your subscribers, as intended by activating this feature. To take this further, we manually reviewed all accounts that installed Smartrmail in the last 30 days and confirmed we did not send any automated emails without the user’s consent. The automated series can only be turned on via manual action. That said, we will still review the onboarding process to ensure all steps are clear to our users. We are happy to share all this variable data with you and Shopify. They charge you, but you cant use until you ASK them to run a "security check" on your account, which takes a day, then after paying, your account still not functional - many messages I need to go to a paid plan WHEN I AM ALREADY ON A PAID PLAN!!!!!!!! Then they said it was fixed, email supposed to go out at 12, bug again on the mailing system, email went out at 4pm. I would recommend finding another email marketing app and not commiting the same mistake as me from choosing these guys. Ah and I am just leaving this review because they kept me asking on the chat to leave the review via automated messages.
Hi Apollo Vapes team, We're really sorry you had this experience. In terms of approving your store, we need to manually approve some stores if they hit certain risk factors. Even if you pay right away, we need to do a review. This can take up to 24 hours especially when we have a lot of stores to review. We do this to ensure spam isn't sent of our servers and ensure our merchants maintain the best deliverability standards. Also on your email not sending. It actually was sent at the correct time. However you had a 1% bounce rate which is actually 10x over what we considered high. Therefore inbox providers throttle your email which resulted in you receiving it 4 hours later. Had error with the manual mails sent out to 1000s of customers the shop now button link always returned a dead link.

Log in for Shopify not working. I can not access my account. Frustrating.

9/19/17 update - so we did not heed our own advice and we got bitten again...sheer laziness on our part. Buggy software and terrible support. Don't go down this path. We are exiting today! 2/8/16 - Beware using this product. We have been bitten by poorly tested and buggy software that are cause for embarrassment....far from promoting your products it will turn customers away.
