Expensive and is pretty basic for the money. Tax is not dealt with in a business friendly manor, does not support business to business well.

Very useful tool. I manage to set it up swiftly and it does what it is supposed to do in a very elegant and effective manner. Very happy overall. Support is also very effective which is a major bonus.

I thought other apps would be the best because they had more reviews, but sometimes, fewer reviews means a newer app and a better experience, and that's certainly the case here! Excellent setup experience, easy to understand documentation, and all the features you could need. I tested out the other wholesale apps, and this is the best. This app doesn't have it's own wholesaler signup app, but there's plenty of other apps that help you make forms and that will work with this app, so that's no reason not to go with this one.

We tried them all.. SparkLayer is the best B2B app out there for Shopify and their support has been consistent and efficient. From the initial call to installation, onboarding and technical implementation; they have been there every step of the way. Really a pro app for pros. SparkLayer understands the wholesale business model very well and it shows in every little detail in their app. For example: The app allows B2B accounts to have sub-accounts, which is a feature that solves a lot of internal issues for many B2B businesses. The app installs as a sales channel and offers a lot of features for websites looking to serve different pricing and check out experience for their B2B customers. It can get technical, but worth every minute spent customizing it to your business needs. You can upload CSV prices for different customer groups or have the app automatically change the B2B pricing based on your own discount formulas. You can also expand its implementation by using additional metafields, such as override discounts per account, credit lines and balances. In addition, their API is very well documented should you decide to take the customizations further. You can assign different price lists, payment methods and custom shipping profiles to certain customer groups. B2B customers can load their own CSV orders into the cart with a simple SKU and QTY columns. They can also re-order with a click of a button and save shopping lists. They also have a road map so you know what features are being added next. Thank you very much to the SparkLayer team and looking forward to future updates. You guys rock! Keep up the good work.

The process on implementing SparkLayer to our store was very easy and painless. Support has been great! A feature I would like into the future is a modified version of the sales agent feature to make email & phone orders easier to process. Thanks SparkLayer for a very useful product.

This is the best Shopify app we have ever used, and we use a lot of apps for our store. The user interface on the store front end is elegant out of the box and easy to adapt in the rare instances you would need to. The backend system is well thought out and simple to use. And the customer service is 5* from the moment you install the app. We tested several other apps when trying to set up a B2B store and none came close. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

This really is a game-changing app for anyone that wants to run a wholesale (B2B or Hybrid B2B & D2C) online shop and not have to pay for Shopify Plus. It's fairly easy to set up although some dev experience would be advantageous when interpreting certain features. Fantastic customer support and development team. It's enabled WOW facial limited to port over from a limited WooCommerce store and have the confidence to further build and develop a wholesale offering. Highly recommended.

Only had the App installed for a week or so and it works great! A little complex to setup, I did the first couple of easy steps however the support team have been excellent and did the rest! I highly recommend so far :)

I've tried most of the other wholesale solutions on the Shopify App Store and so far Spark Layer has been the most professional and complete product of them all. It's a real project to set up if you want it to be right and have different wholesale groups, so be prepared for that. It's also unnecessarily complicated in many ways and I feel that the ease of use could be simplified without losing any functionality. That said, the support has been great any time I have a question, but they don't work weekends and it can take a couple days to hear back. Overall I would definitely recommend if you are looking for a serious wholesale solution, but be prepared to invest some time into getting it properly set up.

We are extremely satisfied with the app. The features are amazing. Just like the documentation. You can tell that the developers of the app put a lot of effort into it. But what is even more important to us is the support behind it. The support is super fast and very helpful.

the app says that there is a free plan available. But after installation you are only able to select paid options
Thank you for your feedback, we do appreciate this could be more clearly stated on our Shopify app listing. Like many other Shopify apps, we do offer free plans for Shopify "development" and "partner" stores allowing merchants to install and test SparkLayer. This is also a great way for Shopify developers (or Shopify agencies) to evaluate our solution or even use it as a demo site. We are always happy to accommodate this! Once a merchant is ready to go live, they would typically implement SparkLayer on their "live Shopify store" and proceed to select a paid plan. For our Enterprise customers, we also offer an extended free trial (which is why you see the "Free" text above - this is unfortunately a limitation in how Shopify allow us to set up our app listing!). We will review how this can be adjusted to make it clearer for future merchants.

the app had a rather significant flaw: it didn't include any fields for entering tax data (Id tax, Vat number, etc.) to issue the invoice. I received fast and decisive assistance and they entered these fields in the checkout form: well done!

Our team cannot express how incredible the SparkLayer team is with words. They exceeded every expectation in regard to customer service and implementation assistance. The app itself is very intuitive and thoroughly documented. It's possible to install this entirely on your own but we highly recommend allowing the SparkLayer team to assist you. The app has limitations imposed by Shopify API and SparkLayer is up front about these and provides you with options to work around these limitations with the use of other apps. We highly recommend this App and the team behind it!
