Decided to give this a shot for BF/CM, and I can only say that I'm 100% completely dissatisfied. I created a discount for the sale, and checked how it worked on my site. It seemed fine, so I went ahead and blasted my email list and Facebook. I then started getting all sorts of notifications that the discount wasn't showing up sometimes. I did a test again on my end - first time, it seemed fine... second time it had stopped showing a discount. Then, my Cart and Checkout actually stopped working altogether. Now, I've flubbed the beginning of my sale, and I have to refund several customers for the discount difference. I highly recommend you find another app for this sort of thing.

2019 UPDATE: So we switched credit cards and had to restart the account up. When I checked it, the App would open up to the dashboard fine, but as soon as I paid and renewed my subscription and went to use it, I got a pop-up that stated it doesn't work with my browser and have reset my cache/history, etc... WOW, what a sham!!!! Still haven't implemented fixed for my concerns from last year... Too bad, they have something good going, but seems whoever is in charge over there just does not care!!!

Customer support is VERY slow. Expect for your email to be replied in 3-4 days. Also, a member of support made a change on my site (a simple task of taking something out of a page) and ended up messing up, making the checkout button NOT WORK?!?! so many of my customers clicked checkout only to stay on the same page. Got lots of emails. Then I still had to wait an extended amount of time just to get the regular page running again... disappointing. I am willing to give it another try for upsells. We'll see how it goes..

Doesn't work, i have to cancel the orders and apply the discount manually. Have contacted them twice about the issue but no response so far. I need my money back.

I used this app for the first time to run a big sale throughout my website. It was brought to my attention by some customers that the sale price disappears once the customer tries to check out. I ended up losing several sales because of this. So disappointing

Overall: Great app that we cannot live without! Allows you to set up promotions without using scripts or promo codes. They have an option for every type of promotion (which we need as a large retail site that runs a variety of sales). As a shopify plus subscriber we are using this in lieu of shopify scripts which are complicated to set up and non-intuitive to customers. Functionality: Excellent. Intuitive processes for customers utilizing popups for free items and allows discount codes to be used in conjunction with promos (or not if you don't want to allow that). Free gifts with purchase over x amount (popup at cart screen). Tiered pricing. Shows promotional callouts automatically on product and cart pages. You can even use this if you have a discount code active that you want to notify customers about. Downsides: The main downside is from an app compatibility standpoint which is not really a fault of USO. This app is not compatible with any checkouts besides the stock shopify checkout. So if for example you wanted to install a post purchase upsell app using a third party checkout, USO would not be compatible. USO if you are reading this please work on an integration with carthook, we'd love to use it :) Support: Outstanding! Literally the best support we've received from any app we've installed from the shopify store. Extremely in depth answers, speedy support, knowledgable, and willing to help you through any issues. Highly recommended!

This app helps us to do online sales and special promotions regularly. Had an issue and the support was excellent. Can't recommend this app enough.

We like that there is a lot you can customize about this app. Customer service is excellent, and they can help you figure out exactly how to configure for more complicated promotions. It does almost everything we need it to do in working around Shopify's stupid refusal to allow multiple promo codes to be used on a transaction. I'd give it a 4 3/4 stars if I could, as there are just a couple other things I wish it could do, but it's by far the best app we've found for markdowns and promotions. We have been using for about 6 months and haven't experienced any of the glitches that we did with other apps. You can install and use Ultimate Special Offers with confidence.

This app replaced one I was previously using (because SuppleApps bought the other one), and when I first set it up there were a few issues, some that were dealbreakers for me. I contacted support and they were awesome! They put their developers on it and now, three days later, I have something working even better than the original one did. They have responded to every email and I suspect even added functionality for me. I couldn't be happier! I'm still doing testing of it but I'm sure if I find anything they will take care of it :)

4.5 star The options offered by the app are great. Need to improve on the support. It is a complex app that does a lot of edits to code base after customer click the checkout button. May interfere with cart-page-based upsell, cross-sell, discount code trigger, and store pick-up apps. Support team should try to do more throughout testing before handing back to the store. May take a few days or up to a month to fix everything. A good app after everything is working.

Great app and great service. Rob did a great job of fixing an small issue for me, and also was commicative through the process. On the app side, this app has helped generate lots of sales for us, and is easy to use!

I rewrite the comment again. It is an good app with many functions and reasonable pricing. 1. A big mistake occurred. They help to fix with short-term solution. Due to short term solution, I am not so confident about it. 2. A minor mistake occurred. They fixed it. 3. They fixed another problem not caused by them. 4. Because it took several days to fix all problems, I asked for extending trial period, they extended the trial. 5. Can't fix a minor mistake, but they said it is the limitation of Shopify. (decimal places of discounted price) Overall, the support team is helpful. I need to test it further.

This app works well for us. If you're a big analytics nut, be sure to set up with their recommended companion apps so that Google tracking and Analytics within Shopify report promo sales properly. Otherwise, the draft order flow will skew your data pretty drastically. All-in-all a great stop gap on our way to Shopify Plus.
