SC Store Locator & Google Maps

Puts pins for our store locations in completely wrong places on the map of New York City, sometimes in the middle of a park lol, and even in the wrong borough. I've wasted countless hours of my own time and patiently waited weeks on their support, pretending they would fix the issue. After all these weeks, the app does not perform its most basic function of putting accurate locations on a map. A refund promised for last month was not issued. I wish I hadn't wasted my time & money trying to salvage this app and cancelled sooner. My new store locator app was easy to set up, works properly, costs less, and comes with great support.

Excellent store locator app! It's easy to install and setup. Perhaps more importantly, the support team is quick to respond and helped me dial in a cosmetic issue right away.

Just added this app to our store and it works great and had some minor formatting issues on the page, which the customer support person, Jeff from Shop Circle, helped with. He was patient and very helpful!

Works well. We were able to provide our website shoppers with a list of all available global resellers and distributors of our product, as an alternative to using the store checkout.

It's a great app, fairly easy to use and reliable. We use in multiple stores, and when installing on our most recent store we actually had a glitch that was preventing the app to be installed. The support team, Deelen in particular, was extremely helpful, patience, provided regular updates and in the end was able to find out what was causing the issue and resolve it with the developer team. I really appreciate the level of support, and I'm glad we have the app running consistently in all of our stores now.

Superior customer service!!! I was having trouble with my API key, and Deelen from their customer service team quickly and respectfully helped me out. If there was a 10 star rating I would have given him that.

I was worried that this app would not have good customer service after being purchased by Shop Circle, but I was very impressed with their prompt response and dedication to finding a comprehensive solution for my problem. When we switched to the new Shopify Dawn theme some of our CSS needed to be rewritten so the locator app would look nice; rather than just send me code to fix it myself, which is what Bold used to do, Deelen implemented the fixes directly in my store! That was very nice - I really didn't have to do anything they just took care of it for me. Stellar customer service, and the app just works great, really flawless, we've been using it for a couple years now and we'll likely never use anything else.

It does not work. We have tried reaching out to support, but no help from there side as well. Whenever you try to save the API key, it refreshes as soon as the page refreshes.

So easy to use. The setup is complex but Bold have really great guidelines that got me through it all. This is worth the money for customers to look up stockist locations easily and we love the heat map feature to see where our customers are searching from. Also amazing cusotmer service.

THE PATENT LAWSUIT TROLLS ARE SCAMMERS You may have seen reviews mentioning that installing this app led threat of a lawsuit. Be aware, it's a scam. In 2011 there was a patent granting GEOTAG the protect the marking of physical locations on a map for goods and services (474 Patent). This patent was overturned in 2016 in Microsoft/Google vs GEOTAG (look it up). Here is a copy-paste from the Federal Court of Appeals - "We have considered GeoTag’s remaining arguments and find them unpersuasive." If you ever get a solicitation regarding a patent infringement regarding the mapping of physical locations on a map, it's likely a scam. We can thank Google and Microsoft's legal teams for doing the groundwork on this.

The app works great with the exception that it is impossible to delete stores or tags without the help of a support agent. However, Hamza was super helpful in helping me out with this. I just wish the buttons worked properly on the app so that I could do this myself.

Super prompt and helpful customer service when we had questions about how to navigate bulk uploads to our store locator.
