Our Turbo theme was 5 years old and 4 major versions behind the latest release. We purchased 1-years subscription to the Theme Updater and it handled the update extremely well. There was a tiny niggle with some drop-down styling but OutOfTheSandbox Support team jumped on it and it was sorted immediately. Well done guys and thanks for your amazing support.

I needed help updating my impulse theme, which has a lot of customizations. I tried the 14-day trial and ran the first update with it. Since the fonts weren't updated and I was very unsure about it, I contacted the support: Corey helped me extensively within a day and even did the update himself! He answered all of my questions in great detail - that's why I'll buy the theme updater app after the end of the trial. BTW: the font problem was a theme problem and is now fixed.

I love the Theme Updater app. I'm using with Pixel Union 'Atlantic' Theme. We have paid for app, and most customisations transfer over. Any that don't I can usually sort out with Support. Makes life so much simpler!

Of course, elaborate codes may experience problems when migrating to a new version. Especially if custom code was used. If this should be the case, the support helps out promptly and competently. Usually the update works without problems and with only a few clicks. Basically, a great service that other themes do not offer.

OOTS/Pixel Union has been great!! This app is helpful for updating your theme without needing to know all the ins and outs of theme management. I am not code-savvy so this was my go to and very helpful to catch my store up to speed. Customer service by Myles was phenomenal as well, providing clear and easy solutions to all my little edits and questions. Thank you SO much!

This is a life-changing app that enables easy updating of a highly customised theme. If you've put in the work to update your theme version to an OS 2.0 version, this will make ongoing updates a breeze. Our experience has been incredible - we did not think it would work for us. There are a heap of negative reviews from store owners who would probably find value in utilising a third party to manage the development and ongoing maintenance of their store. But if you have a bit of a clue and keep your store and theme in good shape, this is probably a great solution for updating to the latest versions. Deserving of 5 stars.

An absolute MUST HAVE. I have been using the theme updater for several years now and it is the best way for me to upgrade themes. Be careful if you made custom changes to your shop or added other apps...Now that we are using Shopify 2.0 coding, most apps get attached to the new theme automatically, but some apps, that are not Shopify 2.0 upgraded, might have to be added manually. Otherwise, I really LOVE the app and the features it offers.

The app updater has been a great help for me. It does most of the work, and then I only have to fill in the special little changes that I've made to the code on my own. I had a technical question, and support got back to me quickly and clearly explained what I needed to do. Very helpful - excellent support!

Norm has been great for the support. Though you need to pay for subscription to update to the newest version after trial has expired. I guess this app is like a supplementary tool when you purchase the theme so don't expect it will do all the works for you.

So disappointed by this app and this company. As I pro plan subscriber I would really like to know why I am still waiting 3 days for anyone from the company to look at my issue and get back to me. I had to hire a shopify expert to help me update my Flex theme to the latest version, because the app did not do it, at a cost of $400. This is just seemingly wrong to me. I feel compelled to leave a one star review. I granted permission for someone from Out of the Sandbox to go into my shop and perhaps they would have offered the advice that the issues required this extra help. I got tired of waiting for my "priority support" I have been paying for but never used before. The money you pay monthly to Out of the Sandbox for this app is money spent on empty promises.

Brilliant, Brilliant, Brilliant! The fact that this app is produced by Out of the Sandbox should reassure you that the quality and support are both second to none. We have been using the Parallax theme by Out of the Sandbox since 2019, alongside this app, and we are absolutely blown away by its high quality and ease of use. We get so many compliments about our website - both looks and functionality. That's all down to the Out of the Sandbox design. Customer service is excellent, they cannot do enough to help. If you have a problem or a concern, they fix it and they genuinely care about your shopify store! I genuinely believe that there is no need to look anywhere else: choose an Out of the Sandbox theme and get this app. You will never regret it. The app makes updating the theme supremely simple. We use Several Themes for Out of Sand box. And each time it's same pleasure. I will not understand people who leave Badreviews. If you contact AfterSales services , each time they keep care on you and you have answer in a very fast delay. I recommend to all professional website to use outofsandbox. Sure It's not a Free or cheap template, but quality and service have a price. Thanks to OutOfSandBox

This app works well to make sure that our Out of the Sandbox themes remain up-to-date. Much more cost-effective than re-purchasing new themes. Developer was quick to respond to an issue that we ran into, and helped us resolve it very quickly so that our site was functioning properly.

I've had really good support from these guys, and I have used the updater without any issues, so I am happy to leave them a positive review here. No comments on the pricing, currently I am using the free version. I kept a note of my customisations and applied them after the update, and will continue to do so. All good for me and the latest update is definitely a great improvement on mobile.
