Use caution when using this app. Actually, no one should be using this app as it is SEO killer. The app does not comply with Google's SEO guidelines, which leads to google not indexing translated pages due to 302 Redirect. The team know the issue but apparently their response to the issue is that their app "focuses on the storefront". This is Bull*. If you want your store to be discoverable from Google, DO NOT USE THIS APP. Now this is for the redirection. When it comes to translations: 1. It is just an expensive version of the basic Shopify App using Google Translate. To use the AI version you need to pay even more. 2. It has a better user experience that the basic Shopify App, but still not in Sync with the already translated content. Content translated outside the App is considered Untranslated. Doesn't make sense. Only + from my experience using the App is their Support team. They are always very responsive and helpful despite the quality of their app. ----------------------------------------------- Edit of review on the 16th of September 2024 - In response to Transcy response. ----------------------------------------------- You mentioned that you tried to provide solution to resolve that. "However, we still have tried to provide the relevant solution to resolve that, meanwhile we seriously noted this feedback to improve our app" That's not true. What you asked me to do is to turn on the recommendation. When I asked you if that will work, your answer was that "It might mitigate the issue". You did not provide a clear and confident answer/solution. Even though you knew that it won't work (i suspect, considering all the other negative reviews), you still recommended me a not functional solution to my problem. That's worst than be straight from the beginning and then saying "We are not responsible for SEO, just the storefront". Regarding content untranslated outside the app, you can just create a status "Translated by Third Party" instead of "Untranslated". By having the status of Translated content as "Untranslated" you prompt user to translate already translated content and pay even more. That's questionable practice.

Regarding to your SEO performance, please let me make it clear basically, we have the function as "auto switch language by location". In other words, your language along with URL will be automatically redirected based on location, so this function might be one of the main reasons leading to Google automatic redirection issue. As a result, one of my colleagues has recommended to use "Recommend pop-up" instead to avoid this issue. In fact, we have meet some similar cases and we still guided them to avoid this. Fortunately, they all works properly later on 2. Great app! I love the simple UI with the powerful tools and features! I have tested many others, but I can truly say, this did the job and more, even thought me some feature I didn't realized I want until I found theme here. the support theme is always there, no matter what time and how every simple and stupid or complex my quasion was, they are there, with screen shots to help me understand the issue and how to fix it or even fix it themself. if I can give them more than five star, I will. good job guys.

The worst application, two days trying to make it work and nothing. Frustrating and unnecessary work. The cheaper apps are just as good, if not better, than what is offered here. Not satisfied at all, and I do not recommend it.

Had some minor issues with the app and then contacted their support and Polaris was extremely fast on fixing the problem and keeping me updated about it. I'm very pleased with their service and the actual app does translate very well ! I'd recommend in a heartbeat

Cris did a great job!!!!! Quick help when we need it most. UPDATE: we've been using Transcy for a while now and the support is very responsive. No issue there. However, it seems like we've had issues every other week or so. The app is very buggy and needs constant attention. Also, every time there is an update, you'll find out because there will be issues in your store. VERY frustrating!!! This app works but it needs constant attention. It tends to work in spurts and regularly will break your store and cause massive 404 errors and redirects.... User be ware.

Definitely recommend this app! We decided to try the Premium Free Trial to get a feel for what the app is capable of, and we're impressed. We'll be moving to paid subscription without a doubt. Currently we're translating 5-6 different languages at the moment, incorporating the use of OpenAi & DeepL which have done a fantastic job. There were some small technical issues with the site that took place during the translation process but support was FAST to help, and Giselle had our site back to normal within 30 minutes. Thank you! If you're looking to expand into new markets, this app is the real deal.

Checked out this app because of the limitations of the Shopify App and because of special coding on our site, I needed the tech team to help me get everything installed where I wanted it.
