Trunk ‑ Stock Sync & Bundling

We just switched to Trunk from another inventory management software and we're so glad we did. The sync speed is crazy fast, along with searching for inventory items. Marketplace-to-Trunk stock updates are a great convenience, so we can update from anywhere. And the Faire integration is a huge plus, which wasn't supported by our old software. Wish we would have switched sooner!

Executive Summary: PROS: Quick, performs all the functions we required, integrates seamlessly with shopify. CONS: Without getting into specifics, navigating Kits that are active in trunk could have more visibility. Trunk performs better than expected. Our team needed a way to compile kits, and ensure that we weren't selling more stock than we had, or missing a sale even if we had all the components to build a kit. The mass upload capability enabled us to efficiently implement the system with over 300 variant kits. Inventory updates on child components takes about a minute, and the database updates instantly. Having more visibility on exactly what kits are input in trunk would be beneficial, and eliminate the need for a separate kit database, but seeing the child components of a parent kit is relatively easy. Overall, enabled us to painlessly implement an accurate stock tracking system.

Trunk is a great app that exactly meets our needs. The real time inventory update has been tested as real “real time”. And trunk sends me email when I accidentally create duplicated SKUs. Life saver.

Managing mostly non-repeatable inventory on multiple platforms was a challenge. Using Trunk has given us the ability to expand our offerings on Etsy and Shopify with peace of mind. The customer service has been speedy and wonderful and I recommend this platform to all my online Etsy friends managing multiple sites!

Trunk updates seamlessly between my Shopify and Etsy websites. It literally updates sold items from either site in moments, thus eliminating the rather embarrassing issue I was having with overselling limited items when I couldn't manually update sales immediately. I couldn't be happier.

Trunk has been a great program for integrating an inventory system into my business. I have a few different website platforms and multiple items I sell so keeping an organized inventory system is huge to staying on top of all of my orders. We did a ton of research before we decided to go with Trunk. We are a small company and needed a solution that would scale with us, but could not start at the price point of some of the larger products out there. Getting it installed was a little rough, and we had some issues that were brutal to over come, but Trunk worked with us (through Chat, no phone communication allowed) to solve the problems and now it it working great. It did take a few weeks to get the problems solved. I am glad we worked through the onboarding to get this program to work for us. For the first time, we are not dealing with over selling products. I give this 4 stars because the customer service and communication need a little work.

Trunk Inventory was exactly what I was looking for. I love being able to see in real time when my inventory updates and when my inventory goes below a certain number. The process has been seamless. Thank you!

We at The Sawmill Shop were thrilled to find Trunk. It has allowed us to seamlessly sell on Etsy and Shopify using the same inventory for both, without having to spend hours updating everything manually. There are many fantastic features in use already, with many more on the way, and an easy way to publicly request them to boot! The support is excellent and you get a response in minutes, not days.

We recently implemented Trunk and so far we are loving it. It was very easy to implement and helps us track inventory on both our retail and wholesale platforms seamlessly. We have products that come with pieces that are not sold separately, but that we needed to keep track of and Trunk has been the perfect solution for us!

We tried a lot of inventory apps to link Shopify and Ebay and Trunk was ahead of the class in everything we were looking for. We run an Ebay store with over 35,000 items and having to deal with out of stock sales was a massive headache that kept us from even listing on the Shopify. When linking with Trunk our inventory had instant updates. Something would sell on Ebay and within seconds the inventory on Shopify matched and vice versa. Definitely worth the money for me. This app will grow our shopify storefront exponentially and I have such confidence in the future with Trunk controlling the numbers.

We are so excited about Trunk. It updates instantly across all our platforms and Quickbooks. Trunk saves us time and eliminates a lot of customer service due to overselling. Hoping they add data features soon.

Truck has been great for tracking inventory on our baby bundles and jewelry sets. I no longer need to manually take each product out of inventory, Trunk does it for me. It is wonderful having the peace of mind that my bundles and sets will show up as out of stock if any of the products included are sold out. Also, the customer service has been excellent!

It was a pleasure to try out during their free trail. I was able to set up all of our inventory syncing on Etsy and Shopify within a few days. We had to introduce SKUs for the first time so that took the longest, but that was our own fault for not doing that years ago. :) After the free trail, we were confident this was the solution we needed. James was a pleasure to work with and he was very helpful. We have 1000's of SKUs and we are extremely happy to have the manual inventory syncing taken off our plates. Thanks!

We were spending way too much time trying to match inventory in different platforms, and ended up having frustrated customers when we couldn't send what they ordered. Trunk has saved us a lot of time, and helped us keep our customers happy. I hope they build out more features, but it does the basics very well.

This app is so so so helpful if you are a vendor who sells your product in multiple places. I cannot even imagine how I would manage all my inventory if it weren't for Trunk. Do yourself a favor and get this app now!!

I am very happy with your app--wish I'd done this years ago! Finally I can sleep without worrying about having oversold during the night when I get up in the morning!
