Vela | AI, optimization & more

I sell on Etsy as well as Shopify. Transferring my products from my Etsy store to my Shopify store via Vela has been smooth and easy! I've been able to learn on my own how to do everything, and if I can't figure it out, there's plenty of Youtube videos out there, and the Vela team always responds to my questions via chat. They walk me through all the steps, until I understand. If you are an Etsy seller, this app is a must!

I love the Vela app because, in my opinion, it's the ONLY way to manage multiple listings in one store, or even across multiple channels. My favorite is the "Profile" and the "Bulk Edit" functions. And the genius way to link product photos to variations is the biggest time saver for me. Each of my listings has seven material options and a range of 3-15 size options. Updating these manually would be impossible and an ineffective use of my time. The best part about the bulk edit and photo linking is how I can scan down the photos and variations inventory to double-check that all have linked photos. The variations that still need a photo link have 100% transparency and stand out from those already connected (which have a degree of opacity). Very helpful! Another significant aspect of Vela is the customer support. Every time I have reached out for help in the Chat, Justin responds immediately! You can't beat that! Thank you, Justin!

Where has this app been my entire life!? I've spent hours uploading and changing product descriptions and photos across multiple Shopify and Etsy stores - this platform takes all the heavy lifting out. I can easily update products across multiple platforms in seconds (what used to take me hours). Justin is also so helpful and quick to answer any questions I had when getting started. Can't recommend this app enough and looking forward to seeing what future integration they launch. 10/10!

This is a lifesaver, specially if you have Shopify and Etsy stores. It will save you countless hours of tedious work. The interface is intuitive and very well-designed. The developers are very responsive and even their AI chatbot is super helpful. The app is also updated regularly with new features and they provide detailed tutorial videos to learn them Just sign up, you'll be glad you did.

If you’ve been dreading updating your shop because of the time it takes to manually open, change, save and close a ton of listings, then this app is for you!! It’s been a huge time saver for both my Etsy shops and also my Shopify store. Even if all it did was bulk editing, it would have been worth it. The fact that it can also sync listings between my stores is epic! Love it. Totally recommend it.

I'm new to the app, but its already improved our workflow no end! It's fairly intuitive to use and the videos are useful. I've tried to do bulk edits before but have never had the ability to make as many changes as quickly or easily as this app has allowed me to do. Its saved me literally months of work. As someone who has both a large Etsy and Shopify store, the ability to integrate between the two is really handy too. I'd been using the Shuttle app to swap listings between the two stores, so I could just work on one. I'd then resorted to manual changes because I hate working with csv files but this is lightyears better. I haven't used the social aspects yet but I'm confident they'll be just as revolutionary for us I will definitely be recommending it to others

I have been using Vela for a couple of years now. I have seen changes and have ridden these changes with price changes, etc. It is more than I would like to spend a month but overall it is AWESOME to use for my bulk editing. It has saved me so much time. I am in the app daily and it streamlines my POD business effortlessly. Thank you.

If there were more stars I would be leaving them . Where to even begin ! This app is a life saver , a game changer but what is even better then this app is the amazing customer service that was given by one of the creators who offered to get on a zoom call and walk me through my issue and found the easiest way to explain it to me . I love this app, it saves me SO MUCH time. I've always had a good experience with support if/when needed, too, which is very important. Like many others I've used this app from (nearly?) the beginning, and nobody like price increases, but as a business owner I understand it is necessary. Plus, this is one of the most valuable apps I use, and I very much appreciate the discount and sliding scale pricing. I look forward to future updates and functions to be added!

I've been selling on Etsy for 5 years and just started a shop on Shopify. It wouldn't have been possible without Vela. I was able to copy photos, videos and all the descriptions of over 500 items from Etsy to Shopify. This app is a must for me now for cross channel copying and bulk editing between my 2 shops. Also Vela is one of very few integrations certified by Etsy, so that is one of the reason I used Vela. Thanks for creating this great app!

Stellar! We have been users of Vela for many years and the platform continues to amaze us. It completely changed the way we roll out new products and allows us to work with efficiency, accuracy and confidence. It is the best business tool we have in our pockets. Highly recommend and if there is a 1 star, 2 star ect., review likely ignore it. This tool is suited for strategic planners and product managers, but also for the single user or startup side hustle who want to make their life 100x easier. Vela quickly develops updates, improvements and so on. The help team is responsive and actually wants to know your experience to aid in their own product development. They listen to you. Don't be afraid to ask questions. They will help you!

Thought this was a great tool at first. Used it for my Etsy shop and Shopify store, but the price change aspect of it deserves 0 stars. Despite ensuring I selected every single product in my stores, it failed to change the prices across every single product, leaving me with some products increased and others not. The most frustrating part was having no way of knowing which items it had missed - this resulted in me making losses on some orders as the prices were now not high enough to cope with the Black Friday offers I gave out (thinking I had increased all of my prices!!). When I reached out to Vela customer services they were useless and didn't even bother to reply to my latest email, so I simply deleted the app and now pricing across thousands of products is a complete mess... Vela - if your system can't cope with the volume of products a store like mine has, you need to make this clear. My pricing is now a shambles and I have to manually amend pricing as and when I spot it.

Hands down one of my best business tool. I use Vela for Etsy and Shopify and it's the one tool that saves me so much time. Vela support is excellent and have always solved my problem quickly. I highly recommend any business owner to try out Vela!

So far I'm beyond happy with this App. I've been doing some overhauls with my shops and the work was daunting. Vela is making this overhaul SO MUCH easier and faster. I'm still getting the hang of it, but just the little I've done with it has been incredible.

BEWARE!!! I have been using this app for a long time now with several different shops on both Shopify and Etsy! STOP --> Before you use this app, the company just rolled out a "major update" on November 1st and their update tanked all the limited features that did work before and created major problems in functionality #1 it will act like and show that you are creating new "unpublished" items, they if you go to publish them to your Shopify draft listings (not even active), it will delete the listing(s) you created. That means if you were creating a group of listings from their "create new" button, it will look like they are being created and show that an item was being created and then when you go to publish it will delete all the items from your shop, entirely! You cannot publish from create new to either publish or draft and it will delete all your item(s) not recoverable. This means if you did 10 items, added photos, video, description, etc. This update will delete all your work if you try to publish the item. #2 The new AI features do not work and will permanently delete other information within an item listing. #3 There was no improvement to the photo editing tools despite what they claim and the background removal tool no longer works for many items. #4 You cannot use many of the "new" features they added in bulk editing. You will still have to go in and manually update the items one by one even when you have selected a group of items to edit in "bulk" #4 The shop "refresh" shop button will delete or unpublish items already published in your shop. #5 The "refresh" shop button eats up your daily allowed item creation, publishing, or editing, even if you don't add, change, or do anything to any item. They require you to refresh (sync) your shop frequently to use their app and they show a timer of when you last refreshed it. It does not automatically sync with the current inventory in your shop unless you hit the refresh button. #6 They will lock down your shop when you reach a number count. For example, if you have 100 items in your shop and you hit the refresh button 10 times throughout the day, you cannot list a single new item that day as you will have hit your "1000" item a day creation/listing/update they've now imposed and didn't exist before Nov 1st! Refreshing your shop isn't creating a new listing. #7 They are offering a promotional discount right now with their update for one month free, in their emails to existing customers they said they would give one month free for those already paying for their premium upgraded subscription. Upon contacting their customer service they are refusing to honor that advertisement sent in their emails. #8 They are using the free month of premium features to auto-enroll non-upgraded linked shops into upgraded paying premium subscription services with autopay without authorization into a subscription and you have to contact them to request to be unsubscribed and have those shop(s) removed from premium subscriptions to not get charge first of December which also means you do not get the free month of premium as they are advertising. Bottomline: Proceed with caution, the limited usable features it offers can be found from other apps.

Best tool there is for a small business selling on several platforms. It’s well worth the subscription fee as the time you save is huge. So excited to see this develop further! The customer service is next level with fast responses. Thank you so much

WOW this app brilliant, just works and has saved me valuable time. Having had this app only a short time, I have used it for bulk editing on both my Shopify sites. I have used it for the following; Bulk editing my prices to add on 20% vat Copied a compleat collection of 110 products with variations, edited the descriptions and moved them to a new collection. Bulk removed photos from collections. Added a new products with variants to two collections. As for using the app there is a lot of very helpful tutorial videos.
