The app has potential and offers an impressive range of features for a free tool, but it’s unnecessarily cumbersome. Many of the reviews focus on customer service rather than the actual product, which makes sense. Even basic customizations often require knowledge of CSS or manual code adjustments. I encountered several layout and styling issues that required manual corrections. For someone without technical experience, it would be overwhelming. For me, it was very frustrating. Another concern is that several key features can only be activated by contacting their customer support, which feels intentional and explains why most reviews focus on support rather than usability. It’s a good concept with a lot of promise, but the setup feels more like a developer’s tool than a true plug-and-play app. If the team focused on fixing bugs, allowing full access to features by default, and making customization options accessible through the interface instead of through CSS, this would easily be one of the best free return apps available on Shopify.

Based on the initial setup and customisation process I have been very happy with Yanet: Returns app. As a basic solution. The support team has been very responsive and helpful each step of the way so far. But as I got deep into this I discovered the solution is not suitable for mid-size companies that use a 3PL logistics or warehousing provider as well as Shopify

Alex was helpful in removing the Branding Label in the widget, still setting up the app but it appears to be great so far! Update: I keep having issues with customers saying they didn't get the return instructions emailed to them when I accept the return. I have contacted support but they keep telling me that everything is working perfectly, except it isnt. For some reason the app keeps sending the customers address in the return address field instead of my return address that I configured the app with. I have also had customers tell me that they cant initiate a return as the portal is not working. I can't seem to see a reason or issue when I check on my end but I have had that complaint many times.
