Customer support has been fantastic. I am not technically inclined and was struggling somewhat. We booked a call with Michael who was so patient and so helpful. We are now starting to make real progress. Truly grateful

This app helps me stay on track, write clearly, and organize my content for both search engines and my visitors. I've used the wordpress plugin for a long time and I'm happy to have it over on Shopify too!

Very happy with this app and even more with the support! In bulk editing isn't the best, but overall I am very happy with Yoast!

I downloaded the app to my Shopify account…..I knew nothing about how to set it up….luckily they have a service where you can get a guy from Yoast who contacted me and walked me through the whole setup process….he was very good…knowledgeable, patient and very qualified….I feel much more confident and happy about downloading Yoast for Shopify now…..the backup is fantastic….

Since I'm new to SEO this process has been a huge learning curve..And I’ve learned so much by using Yoast!The app is easy to use and Customer support is fantastic.I highly recommend Yoast for anyone who has a Shopify store.A huge bonus that you can try “Yoasting” images for free!

"How shall I manage to improve my SEO - I know nothing about it?" So I Googled and found Yoast SEO. Once entering the App I almost gave up, scared of doing wrong. Than I started to chat...! I got the most wonderful support!! I am now up and running improving my website! Thankyou Yoast SEO!

I enjoy using Yoast since my time on other platforms. Now Yoast is still the best SEO app for me on Shopify. I especially love Yoast's service quality. Sid has been helping me with great patience and resourcefulness, solving my problem in a minute. Love!

This app has been helpful in providing guidance on how to think about SEO for our site, with clear direction on what we should be doing to optimize. The support from Yoast is first class and the app gives meaningful feedback you can immediately action to improve SEO. I have attended a one-day conference with awesome speakers, some webinars and I find their blogs very readable and informative. As a complete beginner on SEO, the Yoast app has really made a difference and given me confidence. The red, amber and green bullets are brilliant, especially as they come with useful advice and links giving further detail. I tried a couple of other SEO apps available via Shopify first but neither was anywhere near as good as this one. Thank you!

Not Happy with this app at all and the cost just doesnt justify anything. I already am familar with SEO and thought this might help improve but instead of helpding boost SEO, it rather deranked my site position on google. It has nothing but just a bunch of knowledge book regarding SEO- which are freely available but they make it a point to charge free content. Seriously this is not worth the cost and they should just get out of shopify and stick with wordpress, it does more harm than good.

I am happy with this app. I am very much a newbie when it comes to SEO so I learned a lot from the introductory webcast of Yoast for Shopify. It takes a little getting used to like anything else that is unfamiliar. The app kind of trains you further as you start using it as it explains not only the steps you should take at a particular point, but also why. The more I use it, the better I think I am at it, because I almost know beforehand when I enter verbiage that will get the red frowny face and am learning how to quickly fix it. I have accessed Yoast Academy as well which is great, and the one time I needed support chatting with Adetola was very helpful. I recommend it! Excited to see some results from my work!

Je connaissais l'outil sur Wordpress, j'ai donc voulu l'essayer sur shopify mais quand je l'ai désinstallé tous mes changements ont été supprimés. 14 jours à travailler le SEO pour rien grâce à YOAST ! Finalement c'est payer et garder son boulot ou supprimer et tout perdre... J'ai donc cherché ailleurs.

Please do not completely judge Yoast by the reviews below. I feel they are a little misinformed as the issues mentioned could have been fixed by duplicating and downloading code etc. and Yoast does have an easy button to remove theme modifications in one click. I have used Yoast with Wordpress previously and am so happy there is now a Shopify integration! I have contacted the support team about six times during set up and they have been nothing but friendly, professional and have seriously gone out of their way to help me. I honestly feel the fee is worth the price with the free educational tools which are available and the fantastic support from the customer service team. I already feel my site has improved due to this app and it confirms the SEO changes I am making are effective. Finally, it’s important to realise nothing is perfect when starting out, but it’s how you deal with the problems that makes the difference. The Yoast team have already started fixing an initial bug that was mentioned and I feel the speed of getting it sorted is excellent. Thank you so much for all your help - and shout out to Jose and Michael who have helped me with numerous questions!

When an app is uninstalled it should revert the site back to its original state without any effort by the user. We have now spent a few hours cleaning up the mess that was left. Modified files are left for you in their modified state. The backed up files are there, however you will have to spend plenty of time reverting the original file back to its original state.
We're sorry to hear about your experience and we understand how unnecessarily time-consuming this has been for you. We thank you for sharing your feedback with us and know how important it is to get everything back the way it was. We're going to look into ways of improving this. For others reading along, we have a button in our app that automatically removes all theme modifications (see https://yoast.com/help/remove-yoast-code-from-theme-in-shopify/). If you've already deleted our app, there are also manual instructions on how to remove them. Sadly, this is not something we can automatically do after deleting our app but we're looking into improving this as best we can.
NO BULKEDIT (available in wordpress for 4 times less price)- maybe only for new site. I installed Yoast after waiting a long time to be available also on shopify. Installing it on a production site i got panic as i saw myself without control of my seo work as everything was overwritten and there was no control possible. Having 8k+ products it was not a good experience. Comunication with support unfortunetly is not 24/7 because we are in different timezones so no immediate reply was possible.
Update 15-02-2023: For visibility purposes, besides our email, we would like to inform you that the Bulk edit feature has been available since July 2022 (along with a new Data migration feature both in beta), in case you missed this update and wish to use our app again. With this feature, you will get all your individual products edited with our app in a list, and you can set focus keywords, titles & descriptions etc. using a CSV file. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to our support team, and we'd be happy to help. Update 25-02-2022: Thank you for your feedback. We are currently working on bulk edit for our Shopify app. Although we can not give you a specific release date, we are hard at work to make it happen!
