Yotpo is easy to use both as a store owner and customer. Product reviews are very important to attract new customers, and Yotpo makes it easy for your existing customers to leave a review directly in your automated follow up email. Everything is good if you can stick to the basic features. The only significant minus that I can think of (which could have lead to fewer stars) is the exceptionally high-priced premium plan. This is important to take into consideration if you run multiple Shopify stores for different countries/locations, and you would like to use a premium feature like sharing reviews across different domains.

When it comes to getting more reviews, Yotpo delivers. We received 10x more product reviews in just a few days time than we did in 6 months with the Shopify "Product Reviews" app.

So far so good. The app was relatively easy to install. There was a huge jump in price from the basic to the premium so we didn't do it. Now, there isn't pricing listed for premium, you have to call them. Not smart. I liked the idea of premium because it included the option of posting reviews to facebook - now we can do this using KIT. So, Yotpo is great for the basic program, I recommend it highly. I don't see why you would want to opt for the unknown priced premium package.

beedezigned highly recommend Yotpo. Since incorporating Yotpo in 2013 :: 99% of customers reviewed our products and service to be 4-5 stars - with 96% of them rating beedezigned a perfect 5 stars!! If you have fantastic products and couple that with awesome service, let your customers tell the world through Yotpo. It's a little tricky to install and navigate, however definately worth it, as ongoing use offers major benefits to your business. www.beedezigned.com.au

I have a few issues with it, mostly that it's uncustomisable without spending a LOT of money to upgrade from the free version. It's been fine though, for what it is, and has collected reviews which I'm grateful for.

It has worked well for us. Unfortunately, some unverified reviews slipped by and that could have caused a problem as they were created by a competitor to make us look bad. I was able to figure it out and get them off our site.

Has tons of potential, but only for the companies that can afford $399+ a month. The free version is lacking in features and does not really compare to other free review apps. The next level up for $25 a month adds almost nothing extra. The account you really want is the Powerhouse+, because it honestly is great for new content and really putts your reviews to work. BUT the PRICE. $699 a month!!! Great UI and tons of potential, but not ideal for DIY'ers just starting out. There are other options out there with similar features for $30-$100 month. Good app for reviews. Love receiving notifications that I have a happy customer review! Think I need to upgrade though to get more out of the app

A great start. We have been using Yotpo since relaunching our store and it's been very useful in generating our first set of reviews. Seamless and hands off, the app does what it says it will and does it well.

Yotpo is definitely a fantastic compare to other review apps however I have to agree with many other users with regards to the high pricing of the paid version.

We have customized yotpo extensively. Their support has been fairly helpful and is responsive. There are some customization limitations but we are satisfied. A downfall of the platform is that reviews are not in HTML so it doesn't impact SEO positively in terms of content but it also isn't negative. There is a schema implementation with star ratings which is a great SEO feature so not all is lost. We are satisfied with Yotpo. Thanks!

This is one of the must have apps, Few options i think its still missing, but overall,with the beautiful review section for products & website its a very nice plugin, few limitations on customization, Thanks Yotpo for such a beautiful plugin and specially for free :) Cheers

A must have app. Makes getting reviewed by verified buyers very easy & automated. The only thing that I do not like about the app is that there is no way to automate sending review requests after the product is delivered rather than X days after shipping. But, overall a great addition to the Jewelove store.

edit: the actual app is great it works with no issues, it's very sleek and it's free, can't really go wrong with it but there are a few things to be careful about: works well, but it does put the customer's name in the review and people are complaining about that... don't think there is a fix. that aside, the free version is great BUT you can't search your reviews without premium this means if customers are leaving fake 5 star reviews taking jabs at your store, you may not see them if you get a lot of reviews, it's probably worth subscribing to if you have tons of reviews, some customers do not seem to want to email support with their frustrations if they can sneak in a 5 star unhappy review so be careful and keep an eye on all your reviews

Really excellent app. Far more versatile than the standard review apps. We're only using the basic plan currently, but I see us upgrading in the future to take advantage of all the great features YotPo has to offer!

4.27.26 I have consistently given Yotpo a 1 star review. Recently I did so again. However, a Ralph B. from Yotpo contacted me and has greatly assisted me in getting all my issues resolved - hopefully on a long-term basis. He offered to implement the changes and when I declined and said I would implement them myself, he gave me very detailed instructions on how to do so. He timely and consistently responded to my questions. At this point, I have resolved all my known issues and am satisfied. I greatly appreciate his assistance so I have changed my rating. Assuming the widgets I am using work as intended, going forward, I will certainly be satisfied. I have at least 6 support cases open on YOTPO. I have a lot more than 6 issues but I'm being prevented from opening any other support cases. Why? Because 1. They have no support and 2. Nothing ever works the way it is supposed to or consistently. The reviews for top selling products have disappeared completely or the stars next to the product name do not show up at all even though the reviews show up below the product description. This is a REVIEW app and yet the very foundational features do not work or work inconsistently. How impressed should people be with this garbage? How long should I wait for support? I think if an app is expecting to be paid, it should respond to support requests in 24 hours. Yotpo responds weeks later, if at all. One would have to go to YOTPO university to actually fix all the things that is wrong with this app. It apparently expects customers to spend hours to fix these things with lousy and unclear directions. For over a year, there's a button on my main page that says I should click it to install a newer widget. I've attempted to install the newer widget at least 50 times with no result. This app is an absolute nightmare. No support. Nothing ever stays - constant updates that don't transfer. Yet they will contact you day after day trying to get you to upgrade. Why would anyone upgrade when the current version doesn't work? DO NOT CHOOSE THIS REVIEW APP. You will regret it. UPDATED 6 Months Later: If I could give YOTPO MINUS 100 Stars for customer service I would. There is no customer service. In fact, there seems to be a definite pattern here. You open a support request and they then close it so that SHOPIFY thinks it's been resolved when in fact, they have done absolutely nothing. Even if they commit to doing something, they don't follow through. You open another one and the same thing happens. It's absolutely unbelievable. This App should be immediately removed from SHOPIFY. And, Shopify should care a lot more about this than it appears they do. Store owners should not be subjected to this non-support. It's hard to even call it nonsupport since they actively work against everything you do which has a negative impact on your store and business. This needs to be investigated. 6 Months ago-I have now made 15 support requests with no help from this app. It should not be on Shopify. It needs to be removed. DO NOT use this app as you will have NOTHING but problems with no support whatsoever.

Great app, lots of functionality, also in the free version. Great to have this interactivity thanks to yotpo. Easy installation, reviews from the widget or from mails. it's great to be able to sell after sales emails to ask for reviews (though i was suprised that the first time, yotpo sent emails like that to ALL customers,whether they accepted marketing or not. tricky). Also, coupon codes should be made valid for just one use only, otherwise they get reused all the time.
