Clearer.io Address Validator

Shopify does not have a built in feature to exclude PO Boxes. If you only ship UPS this is a huge issue! I searched high and low on the interwebs looking for a solution and there was only 1: Address Validator. I installed it and needed some further customization so put in a feature request. This normally would have taken weeks, but somehow their support team resolved my issue within hours! We are now able to alert customers who checkout with PO Boxes and request a street address on the order confirmation page. The customer support responsiveness made this a pleasure to troubleshoot. Thank you!

It works really well and gives you great recommendations based on the input from the customer. For our business which is not located in the US or Canada it considers all possible translations to offer a solid experience for our clients.

Great product, just what we needed. Prevents address errors and give us control over what type of addresses we can ship to.

This app has helped me tremendously to validate addresses and decrease the number of errors both in my warehouse and in shipping. Plus, the RoboTurk team has been really helpful in customizing the app for French addresses, which are quite specific :)

We were having several address changes a week and multiple "return to senders" a week before getting this app. Now that everyone auto-populates addresses and clicks "buy" as fast as they can this has changed the game for us. It makes people *think* for a second before entering an old or incorrect address. In the week since this was installed we haven't had a single address change post order! We're hoping the same is true for "return to sender" items be this may take a bit longer. Our first impressions with this app are great once its up and running. This will free up customer service reps to take care of more important issues. A small price to pay once you factor in re-shipping costs, warehouse packing fees, and emails and calls for address changes/"lost" packages.

Really great customer service and app. I identified a small bug to them and they fixed it within 14 hours. The app is a no brainer to use, install it and forget it.

Returned packages were a huge issue for us, but this app has put an end to most of that. I like just how much we are able to customize from prohibiting PO Boxes to what step of checkout the popup alerts are displayed in. On top of all that, customer service is incredible!

This app worked very well right out of the box. We have already seen it in action and our mobile conversion rate has recovered - our previous address validation app was too scary looking for users - made the site seem unstable. This one integrates seamlessly. To top it off, i did have one customization suggestion. The RoboTurk team not only said we could do it, but helped me with the CSS code to make it happen. And it worked! Great service. So glad we switched.

This WAS a great app. But now it doesnt validate shipping address until AFTER the order is placed, which really defeats the purpose of an auto validator.......to stop it before an order is placed.

Awesome customer support, incredibly helpful (shoutout to the Address Validator Team!), was on the phone with them multiple times today as they helped me with some custom coding. Honestly. 99% of apps don't even have accessible customer service, whereas their team responded within an hour over email and got on the phone with me soon after just to see if I needed any help with the app. Their dashboards are so easy to use and help you with everything you're looking for. Address Validation = No more shipping problems, guaranteed. I highly recommend this app, no matter what your issue -- they'll make it work for you.

I'd give this app 7 stars if I could. It's super intuitive, has a ton of options to fit your exact need and if you can't figure something out, their support is TOP. They're US based and when I needed something they got on the phone with me until it was resolved perfectly. I got the app because I had a PO box problem (FedEx doesn't ship to PO boxes but customers kept checking out with a PO box), and this is EXACTLY what I needed. It informs the customer they can't check out with a PO box, and stops them from doing so if they try. I needed some additional customization and the Address Validator Team was incredibly helpful. 7 stars.

We use this app to help reduce address submission errors, most importantly for international orders. It has helped us reduce the amount of user submission errors, reducing the manual work required on our side when a user enters an invalid address. The Team has also been extremely helpful in helping us solve issue and even building out new features to improve the app and help us overcome some of the more common validation issues we experience. 5 stars!

We'd give this 5* for the Customer Service and a continuous effort in listening to feedback and focus on improving the website. There are some legacy design flaws for those are finicky about it (i.e. US) but they are working it and even now it works well and helps with Shipping related issues.

We can't speak highly enough of this app. Having addresses validated at the time of ordering with prompts to prevent addresses we can't currently support has saved us so much time in checking and correcting any discrepancies with customers. Well worth every cent and support is beyond amazing. The developers added a suggested feature super fast and we are ever so grateful to them for their fast, friendly and positive approach to feedback. Highly recommend this app and the team behind it! I'm finally able to block PO Boxes from being used in checkout and prevent the order from proceeding without a valid address!

So far so good. We've had a handful of issues with addresses prior to this app and now we're saving ourselves a heap of time! This has truly helped out the address verification process, it isn't intrusive and the design is pleasant.

Great app, lots of configuration options and easy to follow! Support is super responsive. And, many fewer support tickets now that customers validate their own address, love it!!!!

The developers have responded quickly and professionally to our customization requests. It was particularly important to us that the user was shown the specific input error such as "Please enter your house number or packstation number". This and other details now work perfectly. Address Validator has top-notch support and is an app that does the job plus even more. So far so good and would highly recommend giving these guys a try.
