I tried a few other product options apps, but advanced product options was by far the best. Also the support is super fast and competent.

Advanced Product Options allowed us to set up (and properly charge customers for) custom options that are a pretty large part of our daily sales. MageWorx was very responsive to all requests and helped us get things set up and running properly.

Great options tool, support is great and very, very fast! But it makes a clone of each product. can be automatically deleted after a while but still no good solution if you will use remarketing etc. Customers can't change an option anymore, if they click the product from the cart page, because it will link to the cloned product without options... I hope a solution will be found very soon

At the very moment, our dev team is working on the massive UI reconfiguration, We'll change the way our options are added to products and get rid of those cloned products. Great app if you want to give your customer choice. We almost offer bespoke design yourself lighting. So it's essential to our success Technical spouts it very fast and helpful

the amount of customization you can add for product variants is outstanding support is top notch, i had a few problems and they were all solved in under 24 hours!

I use this app to allow customers to add embroidery or other customizations to their products. This App allows you to: charge per character have multiple templates which can 'overlap' add images for your custom options (font or color etc) Install was done by them & turn around was very quick Price is great! I used to have an app that charged 3 times as much with not even 1/2 the features & capabilities Doesn't seem to slow page load speed! My only critique is that they can work on upgrading the item assignment aspect to have more logic / automation.

I am trying out the 15 day free trial. It seems to work perfectly for my webshop. I have had some issues with image viewing and the support team was very quick to help fix the problem.

It takes a lot of organization and time to effectively create a workflow for your custom options. Once its all together it really works well, BUT there are always hiccups in software and user interfaces that weren't designed to work together natively... But the Advanced Product Options team's customer service is out of this world. They respond quickly and work on the backend to get any issue that I have fixed. I've had 3 or 4 issues in the last year and each one was taken care of by their team within 3-12 hours and all I had to do was write an email, give them access to the backend, and they've taken care of everything. I'll be a customer for the foreseeable future.

We have received fantastic support from the dev team at Mageworx! They have helped us make a lot of tweaks that really improve the way this tool works for our business. Very happy to be working with them and utilizing this feature rich app. It looks like another user thought their response times were a littler slower than they would like at ~ a day. The dev team is in Belarus, and thus sleep like normal humans in that time zone, but are extremely responsive and helpful. In our experience we are able to get exchanges handled over a couple emails, usually taking no longer than a day and a half in total. This includes help with customization.

Just updating our review here as we have been using the Advanced Product Options app for a few years now. Back in 2020, we wrote a review about it crashing and that we might stop using it... but that doesn't happen as often any more and it's a useful app to have. The thing that does happen at the moment is some customers add items to cart and don't get charged and the other thing is the add ons sometimes come through with a charge but no name. But, we can deal with this happening a couple of times a day by contacting the customer. It is a good app to have to allow our customers to personalise their gifts.

I have posted our findings on what caused the issue in the previous review, but I'll also duplicate it here: It looks like some third party (with unclear intent) was using an automated script on one of our client stores, which was causing tens of thousands of fake products to be added to the shopping cart within a short period of time. At certain point it appears this triggered Shopify's product API limits, which caused the API restrictions to take effect for that store. Since we used to have one queue for all requests, those restrictions caused extreme delays in processing products that are being added to the cart. Shortly after identifying the cause of the issue, we implemented and deployed a solution. Moving forward we will be taking additional steps to rework the logic and optimize app's performance.

Really great app but the support is lacking and the software is not reliable. Works great 90% of the time and is down randomly the other 10. Word of advice, when you use this app as a product selector and it experiences issues you get $0 in sales, because customers cannot add to cart. This is the second time its happened it 6 months and if you're looking for support you won't get it. You'll just have to wait until they fix the issue, right now ite been about 5 hours for me, middle of the day, no sales, no support from Mageworks. I'll be migrating off this app and paying a developer to program an alternative option. I would suggest looking at other options because you're likely going to have the same issue and will have to change apps later on, costing you time, money and a good chunk of lost sales.

The products we use are made-to-order products, and there are many options and variations, so we could not register with the normal system of shopify. This app has made it possible for us to make the ideal choice. Also, when the settings didn't work out, customer support was able to respond immediately and solve the problem. I am Japanese and I don't understand English. I explained the situation in English translated by Google, but the supporters understood this intention and responded promptly. This is a recommended app and I think it's a trusted company that runs it.

I'm fascinated by the reviews for great service as I've just sent my 3rd request begging for help. I'm completely stumped by the setup and have been told twice now to look at the tutorials and that they can't help me. Looks like I'll be deleting it...

Long time customer. We have used Advance Product Options for years. Currently we use this app add a Text Field, Drop Down Options, File Upload, and Setup Charges for many or our products. The customer can even change selected options in the cart before checkout. We also use this app to make Quoted orders with "Cart Saver" by Activated Apps. With Cart Saver the product options are carried over to a draft order that we use to make quotes for the customer. The only feature I wish for is the ability to manually add options to a draft order from the admin section. Support has always replied within one day and has been quick to check my code for errors. I recommend this app over the similar app by BOLD.
