It's way overpriced. Support is a joke. Doesn't have any feature that you can't find elsewhere for half price and better support.

Can not accept returns past 60 days. Support is slow and can't really give a clear answer to any of our questions

Doesn't support most UK services with Royal Mail so it just ignores them... Used them for years but they don't seem to have any interest in fixing this - it used to work...

At first it worked well, but now there is an annoying bug which has never been resolved for months! Some tracking codes will display WRONG DATA (from other tracking codes!!!) and SEND WRONG NOTIFICATIONS to my clients. When you check with 17track, it is clear that Aftership is mixing in Bullshit data. So you often end up having an automatic email being sent to a client saying his package was taken by Customs or lost/ that the customer needs to pay an extra fee, when it actually didn't even leave China yet. Or that it is in another country like the Netherlands when it never meant to be there. The customer answers desperately and then you have to explain to them that your email is wrong, the aftership tracking link you sent them is also wrong, and they have to disregard that all and next upcoming messages. I even had some customers canceling/ chargebacking me due to Aftership sending wrong tracking code updates :( So you get an extra support burden, you lose clients and you are paying USD99 for it! Congrats! I have reported it 5 times, but they don't ever contact their developers to correct their mistake. They simply correct individual cases, but never the root cause of the problem that keeps generating new bugged tracking notifications. That is why I am strongly thinking of moving to another Tracking solution that does not mislead my clients. Unfortunately I can't recommend this app to anyone.

We were automatically billed after the free trial period expired without notice or the ability to select a pricing program. Even worse, they do not respond to support emails.

We installed the app to keep track of our fulfilment process. We set up the app and we installed both the Shopify app and the fulfilment supplier app on aftership. Aftership synced orders twice from both sources and created duplicated tracking numbers for almost every order. It was a bit of a nightmare. Aftership shouldn't sync orders with the same Name or ID, or at least flag it as a duplicate.

BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE!!! This app does not work. Simple as that. The emails that it sends to your customer look like they were written by a three year old, and the links that it includes in the body of the email have a typo that sends your customer to a 404 page. Same issue with the tracking links that it posts to your customer's order information on your store. The setup videos are for an earlier version of the app, and are no help to setup the complicated code revisions that are required to get even the smallest amount of functionality out of this app. I wrestled with the code of this app for almost an hour before I realized that even if I were able to modify it enough to make it work even a little bit, it would never provide the full functionality that it promised. I promptly uninstalled it and politely requested a refund for my subscription that they force you to pay if you want to get "full functionality" out of the app. The free trial version is extremely limited it what it can do, and even the few options that it provides are only semi-funtional. My refund request was denied. Their reasoning for not refunding a full month subscription that was used for less than an hour and did nothing more than send several unprofessional and useless emails to each of my customers over the last 3 days was: "Our system does not allow us to refund for the plan you have already choose because it is now a subscription plan." So download this app with caution. There any many other apps out there with better tracking, and much lower monthly costs. Stay away from this one, it's a complete waste of money

Does not really work for ePacket EMS, so if you dropship, don't bother. PLUS they are expensive as all hell, $10 for sending out 31 emails? yea right And finally.. the reason they guys are really getting a 1 star, is that in order to cancel your plan, you have to pass the HARDEST CAPTCHA that you have ever had to do, I failed for about 10 tries. Too expensive and doesn't work with ePacket. So avoid if either of those things are important to you.

Unfortunately, after over 2 years of using this app, I have to change my review. I really loved this app but in 2020 it was getting worse and worse... First, tracking statuses from French Post were not updated so my integration with other app (Judge.me review app) didin't work and my customers didn't receive any demand about reviews and, of course, were not notificated about their shipments. Than, after I let them know about this issue, they changed something in their API I think and few days ago I realized that since 120 days at least (because I can't see any further history) they add my tracking numbers by French Post twice! Once it's added by Shopify integration and the second one is by their API. So I was overbilled for months! You better check your bills if they don't double your tracking numbers. And as a solution they told me to remove the Shopify integration so the tracking number would be added only once... What?! And what about other features for my store which this app should give me? And what about all my money which I already overpaid for all these months? They really don't even feel guilty for all of this and me, I feel robbed. So, after two years I have to uninstall this app because I don't trust these people anymore. Too bad. I'm switching to another app.

Had lots of issues as the App simply wouldn't work. Couldn't connect our shop, the App refused to load our orders, and couldn't update the custom tracking page to make it look like we wanted. We asked their support department to see if they could fix it but after at least 6 or 7 emails requesting help we gave up. Incredibly slow support despite automated reply emails re-assuring you they are looking at the problem. Even tried to contact their sales department but got no answer from them either. Wouldn't recommend at all.

Doesn't work. Klunky UI. Pesters you for reviews befre you have even used it and then keeps asking all the time. I can only assume that these thousands of 5 star reviews are from muppets that have not actually used the app and just reviewed after installing?

A perfect 5/7 for billing incompetence. TL:DR - For the love of god. don't. give. them. your. credit. card. details. Where do I begin? 1. Hearing good things, I Install the app to poke around, see what's what. 2. Chose the "free" plan. Cool, cool cool cool. 3. Wake up a few weeks later, charged $12954 USD on the old VISA card. 4. Emailed Aftership; "Hey, so, you know that *free* plan I signed up for?" 5. Aftership explained that their "Forever Free Plan" was actually a *new* plan, and I had unwittingly managed to rack up over ten thousand dollars worth of charges without so much as a notification, or automatic plan upgrade (like every single other app in the universe would do). 6. After some back and forth via email, Aftership VERY kindly refunded me $11,955 USD, costing me $999 USD for my mistake - fair enough. Maybe I misinterpreted the meaning of the "free" plan. Fair shake of the ol' sauce bottle. 7. Fast forward to the beginning of the next month (today), I receive a credit card charge for $4355 USD, PLUS another $599 USD. I proceed to laugh, assume this is a sick joke - surely, SURELY Aftership, after charging me over ten thousand dollars, then refunding me over ten thousand dollars, would have fixed the billing mistake. 8. I check my selected plan - it's the $599 option. .... .... Bueller?

Excellent app! I used to spend A LOT of time tracking multiple parcels on multiple websites to ensure everything was going where and when it should. Now I can see all my shipments on a single webpage with clear status flags to tell me when all is well or where I need to chase things up. And the developers even added a new courier for me when I flagged up that it wasn't on their system. How's that for good customer service! UPDATE We have now upgraded to the pro version of the app. It allows us to brand our tracking pages and links. I particularly love the way we can attach our Instagram feed to a customer's tracking page - we find that Instagram is the best social media for driving traffic, so we are keen to keep pushing that wherever possible. This is still the No. 1 app that we could not do without. UPDATE JANUARY 2018 Unfortunately this app is now unable to track any consignments sent by Royal Mail in the UK, so it has become of very limited use (although it can still track other courier services). This is not any fault with Aftership - it is due to a restriction that Royal Mail have introduced (very unhelpfully!). My only complaint is that Aftership continues to import all UK Royal Mail shipments along with shipments sent via other couriers and then wants us to pay for these, even though they are not tracked. I have raised this issue with customer support several times, but just get a cut-and-paste respond that doesn't actually address the problem. For that reason I have dropped my star rating. But in the interests of fairness, it is worth noting that you will probably find this to be a very worthwhile app as long as you don't use the Royal Mail in the UK. UPDATE FEBRUARY 2018 Unfortunately things have just got worse. To try and resolve the problem with Royal Mail items not being tracked, I simply removed it from my list of couriers. However, Aftership continues to import every single Royal Mail shipment from my online store. Tech support just send the same old cut-and-paste replies but don't actually do anything that fixes the problem. With regret, I have to reduce my once rave review to a big fat raspberry and give it ZERO STARS (even though it won't actually let me give less than one). Time to uninstall and find something better. What a shame : (

Most apps cancel your subscription after you delete it from your Shopify site. These guys will happily keep charging until you find out for yourself. Reflects badly on the Shopify brand as well to let customers be shafted in this unscrupulous manner.

Yes, This app is good for people with less than 100 shipments. Now, they started charging everyone who has above 100 shipments to be tracked. We have low value high volume shipments and we are ending up spending almost 40 to 60 $. It is a steep price to pay given that they advertise that everything is free here.

We tried contact their customer service 3 times and still to date have no response. They charge you for each order and we still haven't gotten any answers.... We will definitely be removing this app.

I'm extremely frustrated with the "support" for this app. I've used over a year and when I went to check on an order only then did I notice that I was being forced to pick a monthly payment plan. Ok fine, I had a balance of $23.00 so I tried to pick their Essential plan. I got an error and it would not allow it stating that I had a credit balance. Okaayy...so I contact "support" and I'm told to remove the app and reinstall and add a credit card since they stopped using Paypal. I did ALL of those things, still got the error to contact support which I did again. So I log into my account and they charged me an additional $10.00 within hours (I already had a credit balance of $23 and now it's $33.00. Support is of no help whatsoever. They talk in circles and will keep charging without an option to upgrade nor get your credit back. I've reported this issue to Shopify as well as removing the app. NOT worth the upgrade whatsoever. Oh and if you decide to close your account because you're in an endless loop of not being able to upgrade nor getting help from support they get to "keep" your money. --- I asked Shopify to help with the issue and they forwarded me back to the developer who again went around in circles never actually answering my questions or addressing the issue. At this point they can keep the $20. I will never recommend nor use this app again.
