Sitemap doesn't work. they don't fix anything. they say they are sending to support to fix and don't do anything. Its been four days. a complete waste of time and insult. Horrible !!!!!!!! Insulting to not even email an update.

Not at all helpful. Decreased the speed score & even the basic things are under pro plan which is not at all good for starting stores

they give you a coupon code and they charge you all the amount later. Also, nothing is running better in my shop with this app! NOT recommend!

Complete scammers. Everything is set up in such a way that after choosing the 14-day trial period, you thought that all the features of the pro version were still unavailable to you. So you switched to the pro version right away. The very first function I tested, which is adding alt tags to images, doesn't work correctly. Despite clear settings indicating not to overwrite the current text, it still overwrites it. The support team is not helpful at all and says it's supposed to be that way. After just 3 minutes of using it, I asked for a refund. We'll see.

After deleting the App, i still find tons of files from Avada.. why cant you delete your whole app? It was not satisfiying for me.

Be aware and stay away! We installed this app and tried automatic improvement for page speed as well as some other automatic functions. The next day our SEO ranking dropped with over 2000 positions down, cathatstrophical for us and after contact with Avada they claim that this is not something that has to do with the changes the app did. We did no other changes and our SEO score is still at this bad level even after trying to invert the changes made. I wish we would have stayed far away from this app.

This app can not handle the number of images it says it can and the support team has been totally inadequate in assisting with the problem. They say it is because of Shopify API limitations, if Shopify has limitations their app has the same limitations and they should not be making these false claims.

UPDATE: After one year our speed has dropped dramaticaly (halfed), we contacted the support several times, either they did not know or asked for some time. What we granted every time. But they did not come back to us as promised or asked just for more time. We were fed up and uninstalled the app. We had a very good support at the beginning, but lately this was the worst customer support exchange I ever had. Comment from 18.Oct 2022: My SEO score went from 72 to 94 in a few hours, their client service is excellent and very keen to help you out ! I did not expect for that price to have such a good service.

Tried out the app and decided that it is not for me. Uninstalled the app and deleted some code based on the guide provided. However, there are still remaining files and code in the theme.liquid file that I have to restore the old code before the installation to clean them up.

Unfortunately, I can't recommend it... First thing you will notice when entering the app is the amount of advertising even for subscribed users. Ads at the top of every page, additional ads on nearly all tabs plus a deals tab. I nearly uninstalled it just because of this! Dashboard gives an overview of your seo score, feature request, turn app on and off the app and of course an ad. Also estimated savings (hours/cost) which has to be the most pointless thing I have ever seen. Speed up tab, you can compress your images which shopify does natively anyways not sure why shopify users don't realise this and pay other apps to do it again. Site speed up, no idea what this does, no information is given. Instant page is pre-loading, most shopify themes will already do this, same goes for lazy loading. Minification will do very little unless you're using a poor quality theme and apps. Speed up optimisations generally slowed some pages down for us and made minimal difference to others. Also had several 'too many requests' errors under different tabs which had to be fixed by support. Meta tag templating is okay, but to be honest not the best way of doing SEO, doesn't beat creating unique content for each product. The meta tag rule templating is a slightly better way if you must go down this route. 404 redirecting to a single URL such as homepage is not a good way, Google would rather you create correct 301/2 redirects or leave it as a 404 if it's permanently unavailable. Also does not incorporate Shopify redirects like other SEO apps do. SEO checklist is poor and not specific enough to show which pages have an issue, some issues involve having to enable their optimisations and it constantly showed my sitemap is not submitted to Google which it certainly is. HTML sitemap, Don't like how this is done and it creates a sitemap for all page types. Site verifications are handy for some, but why add code to your site when you can simply add a txt file to your DNS settings. Google search console is limited and slow, seems pointless, might as well just go to the search console yourself. My biggest annoyance was SEO analysis for my products, collections and pages. I would prefer to edit them myself. But it gives no notification or scoring to show which products etc have issues. Unless you click on them one by one, edit and save. And if you have thousands of products how do you know which have been done and which haven't! Other apps do this much better where they show and score or you can mark them as completed. My advice would be to try other apps and see which one meets your needs, don't get pulled in by all these 'features' most of which you won't need and have been added for the sake of having 'more features' than other apps.

"Free trial" when you have pay for it? We had issues with the App when it didn't really make ANY improvement even with the help from customer service. We were on the "free trial" and the day before we contacted them to get it fixed and also get the "free trial extended" while we see the App work as promised. Now.... we went back and through but now.... They couldn't extended it as planned and we were still to pay for it EVENTHOUGH they said it would be extended ect.... We stopped the service and are now going to pay and then refund.... Wtf

Everyones experiences are different and this app has a lot of positive reviews which is why I choose it. Yes my speed increased. However, my recommendation is to not touch this app. Firstly, you need SEO knowledge of what each of the functions do so you can understand and implement them yourself. Secondly we couldn't get the image optimisation to work properly and I couldn't get a straight answer as to why and this took well over a week. I was then told to ignore the message on my dashboard as at their end it was showing as working. Thirdly and most importantly it clashed with a number of my apps resulting in my website crashing and loosing sales. I got told it would be referred to the development team but they never got back to me instead support staff inserted code to counteract the crash which resulted in other apps crashing. Support were friendly but actual help was inconsistent. I then uninstalled and was still charged for another month which I now have to 'prove' before they will refund. This app has caused me more headaches and stress. In 5 years of having a Shopify Store this is the worst thing I ever did.

Worse than this application and customer service I have ever met in my life. They promise to increase your website speed: my website speed has dropped by 20 points and customer service is still looking for a solution to this problem. It's been 3 days already. They don't have enough technical skills. Very disappointed!

This app is absolutely useless and don't understand why it has so many positive reviews. It doesn't do anything, the customer service doesn't know how the app works, what features it has etc. I am actually not sure what I am paying for it as it does absolutely no difference if one uses it or not. Waste of money can cannot recommend it.

I uninstalled the theme because this app caused the theme to crash. Numerous .aio files need to be removed and code modified after uninstallation.

UPDATE: Still horrible. Horrible service. Horrible product. Horrible effort to try to fix own efforts. Have spend so much money for them to simply destroy my shop multiple times. They keep you in the wheel by worsening your site even more if you happen to delete their app. Very smart indeed. Avada made our site around 30 % slower and destroyed crucial functionality on our website. We asked for help to increase our Google pagespeed score that was 33/90. Avada asked for access to the store. The developers messed the code up, and destroyed crucial apps from our store - my search field. After the changes that was supposed to increase our pagespeed score, the edits and code that Avada inserted DECREASED our pagespeed by around 30 %. While it was 33/90 before contacting Avada it was 20/70 after Avada messed with our code. We contacted Avada multiple times in order to get it resolved, without anyone being able to fix the issues they created themselves. We were basically left with a "sorry, we can't do it." One of the times editing our store they were able to get our search field back for a brief moment. After messing with the code again, they destroyed that again. Meanwhile Avada has indirectly tried to blame us for the mistakes, indirectly claiming that we had changed the theme (which we had not) and tried to blame that as the reason for the lower scores, although the theme has not been changed at any time. As I am writing the issues has still not being resolved, and has potentially led to lots of losses for us, as we now have a substantially slower site and our search field is not working due to Avadas mistakes. After 4 attempts (!) without being able to get the score back to what it was, and not being able to get our search field back I have now decided to delete the app and all the coding in hopes of it resolving the issue. Let's see. Absolutely incredible. And we had the premium plan. Also, the "speed up" changes on the app itself does not work - not any of them will increase your site speed - at least not our site. WE cannot comment on the other features, as we have not tested those.

after i installed and tried it. it didn't really speed up my website.. then when i uninstalled. it got so much slower than before i even installed it.. it will ruin your site... fake reviews i should say!!!!! how did you guys got 4.9????
