This is a pretty neat app for Shopify. Shopify lacks such an important feature where if you have some products on pre-order, you don't want the public access to them but perhaps a certain customer group such as VIP members. The Sami B2B Lock, Password Protect app is the great alternative solution. While there is one item I wish they could address would be to allow the locked product's placeholder to be clickable for the user to access the locked page. But as a workaround, I'll include the link to the protected product in an e-mail and share the password to the customer group. Haley from Samita is awesome! She went above and beyond to customize the app to match my theme's fonts and colors and replaced the standard lock image, with one that matches my products. Many thanks to Haley and cheers to the Samita support team! Shopify needs talent like Haley!

Sami Wholesale Lock has been a game-changer for our Shopify store. I wanted to like SamiB2B, but unfortunately was told my requirements were "impossible". I wanted to lock a community page, and have access by paying customers - who have a tag on their customer account. I contacted them for support. They only responded when I jumped on chat the next day. They seemed confused when I queried why it was impossible as surely for security, limiting access to specific customers is usual. They responded with the app is "basic". I need better guarantees than this, so looking elsewhere. Disappointing :/

I needed to add a lock to the VIP section of my site, and this app worked perfectly. The support team also helped me replace the default lock image and did so very quickly. I truly appreciate their excellent customer service as it’s rare to find that kind of responsiveness these days.
