The customer service for the Rewind app is fantastic. Vitor spent significant time patiently providing comprehensive explanations (via email and video call) of all of the different elements of our plan and what we need to do to ensure our site can be safely restored if needed. There are certainly aspects to be aware of when using the app - things that cannot be backed up due to privacy, API complexities, etc. But, with help from their customer support, I now better understand what is backed-up and what is not, and can proceed with development plans knowing exactly what can be restored if need be.

Rewind Backups was easy to install and started protecting our store data immediately. The interface is straightforward, and the features provide peace of mind knowing our Shopify data is being securely backed up. We did experience a login issue initially, but their support team was responsive, helpful, and followed through on all communication until everything was resolved. It’s reassuring to know our store data is protected, and we appreciate the reliability and support behind the application.

Over the years, Rewind's customer service has always replied quickly and has been exceptional. We haven't had to do anything but let the service do its job. We feel confident and safe using this product.

Thank-you Vitor! While new to Rewind, I had a small issue and got locked out of my account for a few days. This happened as my free trial was coming to and end. I do feel the confirmation to continue with my paid subscription was difficult, but help response was great.

Restore was blocked for 4 days in our other store. Nobody available for help over the weekend. I also don't like you cannot restore specific items. You either restore ALL blog posts or none, ALL products or none, ALL collections or none and so. Switching to other app.

We lost our Website in Mar 26 while we were away. The 'bug' in the software was from Orderly emails. Rewind helped us recover our website from the backups taken by their product. A couple of learning from this exercise might help our customers:- 1. The entire website is not backup probably because some of the linkages is in Shopify code rather than within the database. 2. This would mean what we had to do - manual fixes. 3. You can get a file from Rewind that has some technical data on it for your own backup, however, unless you have access to a Shopify type test environment and a strong programming background, its pointless. In an environment where there are many vendors, Shopify and 3rd party Shopify approved vendors, what we have come to realise is that onus to fix the issue on a single suppier, is largely "absent". If the backup from Rewind does not work or fails to restore the site, the customer is on their own.

Used this for more than 3 years. Logged in today and noticed that our account was deactivated because we have not logged in for over 90 days. This is a back and restore app. So we will have a need to login to check only when there is a need for a restore. However, the app did not stop collecting the charges for all these months. To add to the woes, the account restoration also did not work.

I recently lost 17,000 email addresses which we had accumulated over a serious amount of time. Rewind was able to recover all of them for me. They made it easy for me to do this and I totally appreciate this service.

Support have been great responding to my queries and assisting with requests I have made. We have two Shopify sites that use the Rewind Backup app, and their support was happy to talk me through setting up the app on our second site so that we could bundle them both into one subscription. They also have several different types of subscription and helped me choose the one that worked best for us.

I have installed the app then cancelled the app in trial period. But still charged for the monthly payment that starts from the date when this app installed. Shopify support is even worse in app and theme support. They are only the collection agents and don’t have any responsibility to resolve disputes with the app developers.

I used to love this app, but they brough up the price which is fine (but no notificiation), they had also failed to answer my 4 email requests asking for a JSON hard copy. In fact I haven't heard from them since Christmas time. For backing up your shopify store I advise other options. Thanks ---- Updating this review from Feb 18th as support reached out. It turned out that the email stopped being recognized by their support system. This has since been resolved and with helpful support I have gone back to them as you need good backups and a helpful person/good customer service at the other end. Otherwise it just doesn't work. Regarding price change I just missed the notification. Thanks
