Rewind Backups

I was ready to publish a batch of significant change to our Shopify theme on a Saturday afternoon, but didn't want to do it without some type of a backup/rollback protocol in place. I started to research Shopify backup software, and found glowing reviews of Rewind. But I had some technical questions as to whether it would fit our needs. I sent an email to customer support, and was shocked to get an answer within the hour on a Saturday! Brittney of Rewind was able to answer all of my questions, and offered to help with the setup process (which was so simple no help was required). I got Rewind installed and configured, and was able to confidently publish the theme changes with peace of mind that I could easily roll back if necessary. Thank you, Brittney, and thank you, Rewind!

Rewind app is an essential life saver for an ecommerce brand. All critical data in your Shopify store is backed up in case of errors, prevention is key. Big shoutout to Bianca & Brittney on customer support who were very responsive, informative and friendly. Also credit to the developer(s) who worked on restoring our key metafield data.

I have it since a few years. Never used it. But now I went over 1000 orders a month they want to x10 the price. It seems they want to get their piece. But I am fine keeping it at the 9 USD a month.

Just signed up last week. Had a little issue. Support got back to me right away and the issue is fixed. Great customer service which is rare these days! Just as an fyi, Issue was not with the back-up itself. I was on the wrong plan and just needed to be on the right plan.

We are still in the early stages of using the Rewind App, so I cannot yet give a review for the app, but I can give a review for their excellent customer support and Brittney was extremely helpful. It was easy to get yourself started with Rewind. In a few months’ time I will be more than happy to give the Rewind Backups app a review.

We really love Rewind for backing up our Shopify store. It provides us with confidence that our information is stored, and runs on its own. We are really looking forward to the release of the integration with Monday.com! The sooner the better!

Rewind Protection Suite has been incredibly helpful for our website staging and backup system, the backup automatically started working right away with no issues. I am happy I have not needed to restore from Rewind Backups but I am confident, based on others reviews, it will be no problem. I like the insurance that my data will be there incase we need to recover all our data.

A very good shopify backup service for all objects: products, customers, metafields etc. Peace of mind. Good UI to review the data in different versions of a product. the ability to restore individual products and versions which is a lot of control. Easy to set up. Sales person met with us to run through features. Looking forward to using the monitoring, but we have not yet. Great feature package. We are on the plan that has Staging and monitoring, above base level. Customer service was responsive and very helpful, with one misunderstanding which we sorted out, and a problem with not operating in Australian time zone for business hours. I think premium gives you 24h. minus one star for - confusing documentation and process for backing up and restoring product metafields. This might seem like an edge case, but it was the first thing we wanted to restore, and we found it was hard. It was also the ingredients data for our products, so important. It needs to be restored manually, there is no way to see what Rewind have before you restore it to production. You can't restore versions with the Staging feature. The product restore UI is missing a few fields which may be important when deciding. Compared with other shopify apps that do import/export, Rewind is a bit of a black box, you can't see the data they have. obviously other apps are much harder to use.

I uploaded a disastrous csv to shopify yesterday and started to freak out. It wiped all my variant skus out completely and I couldn't fix it. I was like "oh I have that backup app i never thought i would need." I ran it back to the night before and it FIXED EVERYTHING (but inventory). Saved me an insane amount of time. Thank you so so so much.
