Customer service is responsive but the app itself has some issues. No bulk edit or pause button- so if we are skipping a week of delivereis I need to manually go in and change each individual subscribers account. Also they don't charge taxes on the initial sign up for taxed items (but they do on subsequent charges). If you edit a product in a subscription group it will not update current subscribers to the updated product- you will need to swap with another product then swap back. Works week to week but when you want to do anything else it is a real pain.

Very pleased with the customer support - issues we experienced around creating customer accounts following guest checkouts and address sync problems were dealt with professionally and quickly by Dan from the Bold Commerce team. Now we can use the app as intended (within the limitations set by Shopify for subscription apps..)

Support staff is extremely good - reply back in timely manner and answer all questions. BUT the app itself Bold Subscriptions for Shopify Checkout app has a lot of limitations from very limited email notification triggers, no tagging for Subscription order at the order level which was there in bold V1:-(, no notification if a payment failed to us the vendor.

The app is great, but is more difficult to customize and navigate that other apps I've tried. Brysen was great to work with in helping me with my issues, but he wasn't able to resolve all of my issues without getting another department involved. Still, we are pleased with this app so far!

Watch out! This is one of those apps where they make cancelling and getting a hold of them an absolute nightmare. There goes $250+...The app is also very laggy..Be careful!

Update 7.28.23: Yet again I am blown away by customer service. Chintak fixed an issue for me that I honestly was expecting a "We can't do anything about that, you need to speak with shopify or the theme company". But no, Chintak was able to make a change that will make life for my customers much easier. Thank you! I've never had anything but a fantastic experience with Bold Support. From the migration process from V1 to changing the text for me when I could not figure out coding. Their customer support is what makes me a very loyal customer. Special shout out to Cody for being my go-to migration guru. I can always count on Cody for a speedy and helpful reply to my emails. Also like to send another shout out to Chintak for help with my most recent question, great communication, solution and follow up!

Really helpful support. When my Shopify theme was updated, there was a missed step. I needed help updating my code and subscription verbiage, and figured I could reach out to Bold for help, and Chintak was super responsive and did so right away. Thanks!

Chintak walked me through a problematic situation. She is professional and helpful. The Bold app however, would be better if it auto populated price changes so it would not be so manually inefficient.

The javascript file for this app is way too massive, destroyed our search ranking just by installing. I didn't even get the app set up, and it's going to take our site months to recover from.

Thanks for taking the time to write in. Bold Subscriptions, as with most applications, does need to add some code to your theme in order to provide the subscription functionality. The code is optimized for fast load times and shouldn't impact your store negatively. If you're willing, our team would love to work with you to resolve any issue you're having.

Would give 0 stars if I could. Terrible app, terrible support, they have made a mess of my store and cost me so much $. Their "developers" are clowns and their customer support is a joke they will only tell you pre-scripted answers. DO NOT USE ANY APP FROM BOLD. The apps will never work and when they don't they will just blame it on your theme, other apps, the weather, or any other random stupid excuse they can think of
