1/5 — FOUR YEARS OF BUILDING A PREMIUM BRAND PUT AT RISK. ABSOLUTELY NOT RECOMMENDED. As the founder and owner of Ewa Mrochen Jewellery®, an independent premium jewellery brand that I have spent four years passionately building on Shopify, I consider my experience with Booster SEO absolutely unacceptable. Four years of dedication, creative work, financial investment, brand development, customer trust and meticulous attention to detail deserve to be treated with respect. Instead, after installing Booster SEO and paying $69 per month for its premium plan, I discovered extensive, unwanted modifications across my online store. These included: * Changes to product and page URLs. * Automatically generated ALT text that frequently failed to accurately describe my jewellery. * Unwanted modifications to SEO metadata. * Problematic changes involving links and other store resources. * Significant additional work identifying, reviewing and correcting these changes manually. This was not the professional SEO optimisation service I believed I was paying for. It was a deeply damaging experience for a business I had spent four years building. What makes this situation even more disappointing is my experience with customer support and the lack of satisfactory accountability for the problems I reported. Paying $69 per month for a premium service creates reasonable expectations of competent technical assistance, transparency, responsible handling of customer concerns and effective solutions. My experience fell far below those expectations. The lack of adequate Polish-language support was another disappointment for a business operating in Poland. I entrusted this application with access to an established Shopify store representing years of independent creative work. Instead of confidently focusing on my customers, new collections and business development, I found myself spending valuable time investigating and correcting unwanted changes. An SEO application should protect and strengthen a business’s digital foundations, not leave its owner questioning the integrity of years of work. To the developers: behind every Shopify store is a real business, real financial investment, real customers and often years of someone’s life. That responsibility should never be taken lightly. To fellow Shopify entrepreneurs worldwide: please exercise extreme caution before granting this application access to your store. Review its permissions, document your existing SEO settings and closely monitor every automated change. My experience has completely destroyed my trust in this service. ONE STAR. I haven't tried out much of the app yet but it seems to be very helpful indeed. I received support from Yaci to confirm my shop and she was super helpful, quick and just generally great to talk to. Appreciated it very much :) If anything about the app I know at least the support is good
