This title optimization, decided by the app, is to replace the title I originally wrote with a website link?!!! Absolutely speechless, what kind of optimization is this? Reverse optimization? I uninstalled it and will never use it again.

Well I enjoyed the app up until I actually ran it. Lost HUNDREDS of pictures for my items. Some pictures got duplicated, some go rearranged. Support was quick initially but once I had a real issue it was straight to the "email ticketing" system. Meanwhile my website looks horrible with missing pictures. On top of that, my website is connected to ebay so now all of my ebay pictures are also missing.... I will update this if they come through with a quick fix, but otherwise BEWARE!!!

A strange review for me I only had it installed for like 5 mins. I wanted to test it to see if I could use it. The free version lets you automatically update Image Alt tags. I was testing this when I got a popup asking to verify the store. I said yes. The person asked me to clarify the store name then asked me to wait "while he made changes". I asked him what changes and are they to my store. Remember at this stage I'd already given the app edit permissions. He said not to worry they are only "coding changes". I said wait can you clarify you are making NO changes to my store excluding Alt tags on images". This is where I started to get a weird feeling about it. He said "Yes I'm making no changes directly to the frontend of your store" ???? I didn't like the ambiguous answer as that is far from a definitive YES so I uninstalled. To be honest it could be great I didn't wait around long enough to see but the way direct questions were answered left me doubting them so I left.

Free plan broke all of my internal links, 636. Wont be purchasing paid plan. SEM rush certification recommended this, but I do not, at least the free plan. Reverted to my backup and immediately resolved. Darrell, there's no IF, it did. Why would anyone give you a second chance when the first chance through the free option already created problems with website health. 90%-80%. It seems you could have a strategy to harm internal links by making the case that's only the free plan to motivate to upgrade. Not a good look and the negative reviews out there explain many more problems that tell me to avoid this tool.

I installed the Booster SEO app on my Shopify store, but my experience with their support has been frustrating. I've been trying to get help through their 24/7 support for several days now, but the issue remains unresolved. A Tier 2 agent even requested access to my store but never logged in to address the problem. Booster SEO provided me with a ticket number, assured me that my issue is a top priority, yet here I am still waiting with no resolution in sight. As a Shopify user, I rely on apps like Booster SEO to function efficiently, but this lack of support is incredibly disappointing. The module has messed up all the meta fields and the order of the product photos. We have to invest hours to correct everything that was caused by the module.

WORSE APP EVER!!!! I could not do any SEO audits when I first installed this app, so I waited the next day. Still, there are tons of bugs while I am trying to improve SEO performance. So I decided to uninstall the APP. THEY DELETED ALL META TITLE AND DESCRIPTIONS FOR ALL OF MY PAGES. I have to restore a theme to an aged backup and start implementing the updates all over again. STAY AWAP! USE OTHER APP!

This app broke my H1 and description tags, I reached out to support over 3 weeks ago, without a resolution. I also used the app for a second time and was charged £60 for using it for under 24 hours. I was promised a refund that has still not materialized. overly expensive, damaging to my website, and unsatisfactory support. I don't recommend

Dangerous. The variants on my site stopped working and the support says wait 24hrs for the problem to be escalated. Avoid the Autopilot. When something is too good to be true, it usually is!

The app did not work, nothing would load and then it would kick me out only to make me add my domain back into to re-enter the app, even though it is connected to my Shopify admin. The only pages I could access were to choose a plan or the settings page. All of the others pages would not load. customer support was unable to help so they escalated it to tier 2. Was told they would contact me by email. It was taking too long so I just deleted the app. If this is a sign as to what I can expect for this app, no thanks. I installed it because of the great reviews from so many people so I have to say it is a let down to not have the same experience.

EDIT: Do not use booster seo before reading this! We recently experienced a major issue while using the Booster SEO app. Without our knowledge, the app caused all images to appear blurry—but only for new visitors and devices. Our own cached devices showed everything as normal, which made it nearly impossible for us to detect the issue immediately. During this period(3 months), we had about 30,000 sessions on our website, meaning thousands of potential customers saw unclear images, severely impacting our conversion rates and brand reputation. We run a home decor and furniture shop where the picture quality is everything.. Unfortunately, we had active paid ads running as well, leading to wasted ad spend and potentially significant loss in sales. We contacted Booster SEO for compensation, but they refuse to accept responsibility or cover the incurred costs. They offered us for free membership and refund which is no way near the damage they’ve caused and the problem is still there and not fixed so we cannot use their app again. We resolved the problem by uninstalling the booster seo. And so we are gonna go legal ways if the chances are good for a good outcome but.. Do not use this app without controlling what it does to your store. The damage it done to our company is unbelievable ao be careful with this app.

However, we want to clarify a few key facts for context. Booster SEO does not alter, compress, or display storefront images. It only adds SEO-related alt text using Shopify’s official API. We do not inject scripts or touch your theme code. The issue: blurry images for new visitors only; is a strong indicator of a frontend display conflict, not a backend alteration. Cached users seeing no issue further supports this. From our investigation, the problem was almost certainly due to an incompatibility between our app and a third-party image gallery or theme customization used on your store. Unfortunately, we have no access to, or control over, such third-party code, and no way to prevent unexpected interactions with tools we didn’t build. While we empathize with the frustration, it’s important to note that compatibility testing between multiple apps and customizations falls under the merchant’s responsibility, as outlined in both Shopify’s and our Terms of Service. While the issue was not caused by our app directly, we still offered a full refund and a free lifetime subscription as a gesture of good faith. Forget this guys. Just by uninstalling their app they messed up my Shopify metadata, head and description, it was magically gone. Didn't even leave like it as it was before. Shame on them.

Since installing this app the features have not worked how they are meant to. I was told images would sync within 48 hours of installing and two weeks on still no sync. Raised a ticket and was given a generic response: "The delay is due to factors like the queue of other accounts syncing, the number of products in a store, and Shopify's server load. This is an isolated issue, and the rest of the app's features are functioning properly." They said to wait and wanted to resolve the ticket. I had to argue to keep the ticket open UNTIL the ticket is actually resovled, not prematurely. TBH quite over the product that fails in its primary functions. Not to mention it duplicates the "Product" meta field even though this is a core element in Shopify already.

Disable the "Google Snippets" feature by navigating to the "Google Snippets" tab in our app. 2. We can remove or disable the "brand" field from our app's code. Our experience with the app has been a waste of time and money. While the initial service was good, including website reviews and feedback, the quality has significantly dropped. We reached out to the company 2 to 3 months into our subscription to express our concerns about not seeing any benefits. They assured us that it would take about 6 months to see results. Now, about 6 months, we still haven’t experienced any improvements. Additionally, I uninstalled the app a few days ago but noticed that we are still being charged for the period from 2025-01-16 to 2025-02-15(full month). When we contacted customer service, they were unable to provide clear information about the charges and only mentioned that we wouldn't be billed for a full month.

Horrible Plugin, Installed it and spent almost 3 hours upgrading to Premium it said it was approved and all good but we never got the Features. Contacted admin they could not do anything keep saying the same. like a broken record. So the support chat is there but for no good. Don't waste your time, this plugin is buggy, and when it has issues at the fundament level imagine what issues it has under the hood in the code Will not recommend this to anybody

The application is not working. Contacted support, they told me to wait 48 hours. Everything is still not resolved. After many days of contact, the answer was still mechanical. I approved the 69 usd per month plan. Ridiculous. Lots of good reviews for the app. But am I not the only user? Cheap.

Update: The app created duplicate issues in Google Console. The automated "SEO" is really anyones guess. There's no way to see what has been done. I'd prefer to have control over what action is being taken rather than fly blind
