Rubbish app but there arent any alternatives by the look of it. I've got this connected to 2 shopify sites. One of them pulls all orders through including orders not linked to the location chosen and the other site pulls through 3 duplicate orders every time. Very very frustrating. As others have said, I would rather pay for this app and it worked than it be for free.
Thanks you for your review, and we are sorry to hear that you have been experiencing issues with the integration. Have you consulted our Shopify troubleshooting help page at https://help.parcel.royalmail.com/hc/en-gb/articles/360008874693-Troubleshooting-your-Shopify-Integration ? If this help article does not resolve the issues you are experiencing please don't hesitate to contact our support team at [email protected] for further assistance.
Was working fine, then stopped syncing orders though. Nothing was uploading and none of the recommended "troubleshooting" steps worked. Even tried uninstalling and reinstalling to no avail. There is zero customer service help, so a completely pointless app at this point.
I'm actually going to disagree with the majority of reviews, this app is a real life saver! We've been using this app since the launch of our site and have had no problems at all. It all gets imported over perfectly and when they are dispatched on click and drop all of the tracking information is imported to our shopify store automatically. (I will say however, there is a slight delay of sometimes up to 10 minutes for this to occur, but it does happen.) I would recommend giving the orders a few minutes after they have been marked as dispatched on click&drop. Before this app (and shopify) we would use the manual system, and it would take us forever. This has been a real upgrade for us, and it's totally free to use! Can't complain at all!
Even though Click and Drop integrations lets you choose the location of your store, it pulls orders from all locations in Shopify so all our warehouses are getting the same order pulled through.
Not working. App suddenly stopped syncing any orders to our click and drop account.
When it used to work it was great, but as of a few months ago it stopped pulling orders through unless you reconnected, then it would create a new connection each time and bring each order through 3 times. Orders set to make as dispatched on Shopify aren't. It's frustrating as it used to work great, why change it? I see other people saying the same and still no fix!
Have to agree with everyone else. This app is no longer working properly. It does not mark orders as dispatched on my shopify store and does not upload tracking. It's an absolute nightmare for us. We have all our social media stores connected to this app and it works fine, but it just does not work well with shopify itself. Unfortunately there is no alternative to this at the moment, so nothing we can do. Please guys sort this app out, we would rather pay and have this working properly then have it free but being absolutely useless.
Well I installed this app and after a couple of issues I was able to resolve them myself. Other than that it’s cut my shipping processing down to an effective minimum. For those who have the postage being imported 3 times I resolved this by logging into to my Royal Mail click and drop account > settings > integrations and deleted 2 of the 3 Shopify connections. No idea why I had 3 when I only installed it once.
Completely unusable. Says it works and it really just doesn't. Royal Mail is killing itself with the inability to see that it is unable to provide a service to humans without other humans to provide this service. Just Ruining my life one step at a time. Thanks, Royal Mail, Im just glad the queen isn't alive to see what you have done.
App has been broken by Royal Mail team, it worked well until a few months ago, now there are multiple errors and the support team do not investigate issues. Waiting for 2 months for issue that Royal Mail cannot process EU orders and now need to find an alternative. Update: The Royal Mail response to reviews is quicker than support but false. It hasn't been resolved and I can't process or ship those orders. The issue remains and hasn't been investigated.
Thank you for your review. It looks like the small number of errors you refer to that occurred over a 30 min period earlier today stopped around lunchtime at the point you created a new Shopify integration in Click & Drop. If you still have problems automatically importing orders going forward please don't hesitate to contact our support team. Regarding processing EU orders it seems that you have been shipping EU orders using Click & Drop recently, but if you are referring to a very specific use case please again don't hesitate to contact our support team.
App doesnt work at all - just errors out when installing integration. Tried multiple times, with multiple browsers and machines - same error each time. Looks like i will find another mail provider
Thank you for your review. We updated our app earlier today to resolve the connection issues, but it looks like the last time you attempted to create a new integration was yesterday, so you should be successful if you try again, but if problems persist please don't hesitate to contact our support team.
Worst documentation ever in an app. Spent heaps of time setting up the shipping rules so that we could automate the process, then we get to the end of it to find out that if the order contains more than one product you have to enter the postage manually. Why not say that at the start ? The vast majority of our orders are for more than one item which is why we inserted all the weights and package sizes to account for that. A complete and utter waste of time. Edit. 23/10/23. Lack of reply noted, I guess when you get too big to care.....
It was working perfectly for several years and suddenly, about a month or 2 ago stopped feeding the tracking numbers back to shopify from royal mail. also I was getting duplicate orders coming through to royal mail and after exploring noticed that there were 8 connections from shopify to royal mail. Every time I'd tried to update the integration it formed a new connection. What a shame. It was a great app but for some reason has been spoilt.
This well working app has been rendered completely obsolete without any warning, forcing users (including myself) to manually input orders from a spreadsheet or use a different shipping service, at least until they decide to update the app so it is shopify compatible. Ridiculous. it's as if Royal Mail don't want to make any money and want to lose all their customers.
Suddenly unsupported and is not integrating with my store anymore. What are we supposed to do. No information has been provided. Extremely inconvenient with no communication. Please update us immediately. Complete shambles.
Currently unsupported until Click and Drop roll out an update for Shopify's API - very frustrating as a small business owner. please update the app!!!!
It seems this app has been abandoned. At least it states it's not updated and is now unsupported. It's great when it actually works although it doesn't pull through any orders coming through using our upsell app(which is most of our orders). I don't know of an alternative so we stick with it but not sure if there's much of a point.
PLEASE can RM fix this app - when it works it's great, but several of my orders fail to pull through, and there's seemingly no reason for it. This didn't happen with Squarespace, so I have no idea what's going on. Right now, when I click on the app within Shopify I get 'business.parcel.royalmail.com refused to connect.'
updated and downloaded the app and now I cannot see any new orders come through. waste of time. not sure what to do as there is no help and have to do everything manually.
The update to incorporate Click & Drop App has been a disaster, as the app is not compatible with Shopify and I have now lost access to all my previous orders - if you are going to do an update and require an app download, you need to make sure the app is compatible and accessible!! I will now be forced to switch from Royal Mail, having successfully used Royal Mail and Shopify for the past two years Update: Yes I deleted the integration upon your advice, but am unable to re-add the integration as it keeps taking me to the app download page and upon trying to download it says the app is not compatable with shopify.
Thank you for your review and really sorry to hear about the problems you have had. It looks like you haven't yet tried to create a new Shopify integration after deleting your previous problematic one, which may well solve your problem. If that still doesn't help then please contact our Customer Service team team who will investigate and try to rectify the problem for you.
