Tried to like this POD but their print quality consistently failed to measure up. Customers constantly sending photos of print washing off on first wash. Customer service is prompt to reply but who cares about that when i don't have repeat customers due to poor quality. I had to go find a better POD.

We wish the customer service would answer questions that were asked. Here were the three questions that we asked the last time: 1) read somewhere that says that shipping rates to Canada have changed. Correct? 2) In one of your tutorial videos, it says you [MUST] have a US return address. How is that going to work for non-US-based companies like ours (we are in Canada)? 3) We also find that the "Design Library" within Customcat is rather limiting. Same as mockup options. Can one make the designs from say "Placeit" and have the designs imported into Customcat directly? The following is the triggered long-winded corporate sermon received, providing an answer to a question that wasn't asked. When we told them we were disappointed that they didn't answer any of the questions asked. We received no further response. Unfortunately, this wasn't the first time an answer was provided to a question that wasn't asked. "We don't return items for fail deliveries outside of the USA. "If you are operating your business outside the United States of America or do not wish to receive any returns to your address, please enter our address in your app settings: "1300 Rosa Parks Blvd. Detroit, MI 48216 "If a package is returned to CustomCat, for whatever reason including being undeliverable, it will be donated upon receipt. We will not be contacting you if your customer returns a package for any reason. No package should ever be returned, by your customer, to our fulfillment center. "Our receiving department is here to get the blank product on the floor for decoration. We are not the intermediary between the customer and the seller so be sure to update your FAQs, return policies, etc. Your customers should never ship their decorated orders back to Detroit for any reason. It is very important that you reform your store's Return Policy. Any arrangements for returns, or exchanges, consistent to your posted policies on your websites, need to be handled between the buyer and the seller. "We understand the importance of having a variety of options available for designing products and creating mockups, and we appreciate your feedback. "To address your concern, many merchants use third-party applications such as Placeit.net and Smartmockups.com to create product mockups. After creating the products, you can update them at any time within your ecommerce back end in the products section."

We had many customers complaining about the ink being stuck together and the ink peeling off the shirts in the first wash and the overall print quality being very poor. We deleted the app.

Quality control and support doenst exist at all. They are repeatedly shipping misprinted/wrong orders and even after 10 days i havent recevied any response from them. It would be better if they just SHUT DOWN!

CustomCat quality has been terrible in the last few months. We have numerous complaints from our customer regarding the quality of our products. In addition, it is IMPOSSIBLE to get through to anyone on the phone. I have called numerous times as well as sent emails asking for someone to call me to resolve this and have gotten ZERO reply. We are at the point if we don't get someone to contact us soon we are going to move our business to another vendor. I would NOT recommend this company at all.

5 of 7 orders were wrong. received totally wrong products. my logo was done in completely wrong color. customers received products for a company that wasn't even mine.

I was hoping to hear back from you regarding the email I sent to you on the 4th of August. The reason why the hat printed Orange versus Red is because of the RGB values in the design file. If the RGB values are crossed between two of our color thread values, our machines can get tricked into mapping the wrong color thread. I finally decided to make a 1 star review to CustomCat. Every type of issue takes away 1 star and there are many issues at the moment so they should have received zero stars if it would be possible. #1 Quality control issues - I sold thousands of face masks and it's unbelievable how much work I had with customer support. About 5% off all masks had quality issues, either the customer received the wrong product or the print was bad. Not just a bit off, it was noticably terrible. #2 Shipping issues - CustomCat is offering an economy shipping option. The next decent shipping option is incredibly expensive compared to other POD services but is still basically standart shipping. About 5% of all orders were incredibly late and about 1% of all orders got lost with economy shipping. This isn't shipping, this is garbage. #3 Production delays - According to CustomCat some orders had to be reprinted multiple times what lead to orders being in print for 2-3 weeks what is just insane. I highly doubt that's really the case but either way, if your orders need to be reprinted 6 times you are clearly doing something wrong as a company. Also, good luck explaining it to the customers why their order wasn't shipped for weeks. #4 Issues with the apps order recognition - About 0.002% of all orders didn't get synched to CustomCat. That's not a high number but if you're making many sales, you can't check orders all the time if they are getting synched. It shouldn't happen in the first place but when contacting the support about this issue I was simply told to replace a manual order. Thanks a lot. #5 Feedback ignorance - Regarding all these issues and reporting multiple times on customer complaints, product and quality issues nothing has changed at all. I had so many complaints about the product with detailed explanations but customcat didn't change anything at all about it. These are the reasons why I believe they deserve a 1 star review because as someone who is selling a lot the company clearly limits someone in expanding and growing the business because you need hours every day to fix the issue they have caused. I understand that there are many issues these days but they just tried to cash grab as much as possible instead of limiting some of their services to keep the quality steady. That's bad business practice and hurt my brand a lot. I believe I'll take my christmas business somewhere else because it will simply not be an option, they will not be able to handle it at all.

it wont allow me to set up an account, the website needs to be optimized seriously & no directions to make contact
Hello - I wanted to call you but you have not activated your account yet to include store name, payment info and seller contact. I see the install but you need to activate your account by completing your settings. Try switching your browser or device if you have not already. We can be reached at [email protected] or by phone at 844 874 8623. Day to to day order support is ran through a ticketing system in your dashboard or by emailing [email protected]. We get between 50-100 activations daily so it does work and we'll do our best to help. First step is access the app ( not website ) through your installed apps in shopify admin. We always do our best to help!

if i could give them -5 stars I would. Unless you want to have to replace every item for crap print quality or terrible embroidery, hard pass on this one. theres pleny other POD companies that do quality work and actually QC thier products before shipping. This company has cost me thousands of dollars in replacements because of incorrect colors and just flat out embarssing work. in response to the comment below. the wrong embroidery color was only the final straw in literally every project being an embarassing mess. I am not new to the embroidery or POD worlds. the work you do is absolutely substandard.

We do our best to make the design guidelines/embroidery rules readily available and have a standing offer for sellers to email any specific art files to our support team ([email protected]) to confirm that they are conducive to our embroidery standards. The app is very poorly designed and not intuitive at all. I also did not realize that this is the same company as MyLocker. I've ordered multiple samples from them through Printify and the quality was terrible. They were the worst prints I've ever received.

Update: Company stating it was our design rather than their quality standards. These same designs have been printed by several other print partners with no lack of quality. Customcat misprinted each item and the embroidery was pathetic. The replacement order had new issues that the first did not. Double printing our logo in one location is not an issue with our design as they say. We followed the exact positioning guidelines & yet this issue still occurred. If they had any quality control process in place these inconsistencies would have been caught prior to shipping. If opaque areas of our design were an issue, AGAIN quality control could have flagged this prior to printing. This could've been as simple as contacting the customer to give them an opportunity to modify their design. If we could add pictures we would. Placing the blame on the customer is ridiculous. Own your faults so you can fix/prevent this going forward. Buy a new embroidery machine, the one you have results in blocky childlike handwriting. Unbelievable that you can stand behind what you produce. __________Original Review Below__________ Placed a sample order before launching products on my store. The order took nearly a month to arrive! The print quality is awful. They must not check their products before shipping them to customers. The embroidery on the hat looked like a child's handwriting. The DTG shirts both came out botched. One had a misprinted line outside of the design area & the other duplicated the logo. You would think maybe this is a onetime flaw? No, they sent a reorder and it was just as bad, worse even. Both shirts had printing flaws in the same location as the first order and additional locations. The hat came out just as hideous as the first one. Absolutely terrible. So glad we didn't trust this company with our customer orders. We've had the same designs embroidered, printed & fulfilled by Printful & Printaura. The work by Printful & Printaura is flawless everytime. I cannot believe the lack of quality that Customcat produces. Why Shopify endorses them is beyond me. I would not use this company again if I was paid to. I don't recommend using this company to dropship your designs. If your customers receive the quality we did you will lose that customer guaranteed.
Hi. I am sorry you did not enjoy your experience with us. Just as we discussed on the phone before you left this review, this was not an issue with CustomCat, but rather your design that you submitted to us. We explained to you not to use opacity in designs you are offering on the performance / 100% polyester. We also discussed your decision to use custom placement and positioning the art as opposed to leaving the positioning is standard default or choosing left chest default. If you are in the 2% of CC users who deviate from the standard location by telling the system to print in the “ custom position”, then you run the risk of it being different than the 20,000+ other shirts that ship on a daily bases who use the default, or standard print location ( not custom positioning).

We started using this app for their wide selection, but after literally every single order having issues (I never knew how many new issues could be present with each order), we have pulled all but a small handful of their items from our store. The items we have left do not seem to have as many issues as others. Overall, you're wasting time, stress, and money over an inferior product. Just use Printful, they have not messed up a single order. EDIT BASED OFF OF RESPONSE: It was not fair of me to say that every order was wrong. I will note though, not every order with an issue was reported. However, what we quickly learned about CustomCat, was when a customer ordered an item from this vendor, we were crossing our fingers that their order would not have issues. On the flip side, Printful has a 100% success rate. We have not returned 1 Printful item. Additionally, several of the "replaced" items had NEW issues. So some orders were replaced twice. Why on earth would we trust this vendor at that point? We want our customers to know that they will receive a quality product from a quality brand... and we were not that brand with CustomCat as a vendor. I'm not leaving this review to be a jerk, just want a better product. I'll also say we have since removed every single CustomCat item from our online store in the past month or 2.
Hi! I am sorry you had a poor experience using our app...After lookin at your account, I can see there were a few orders with issues, not all of your orders. The ones that did have issues were replaced on our behalf. We are great, but not perfect. We operate at 1% replacement rate this 1% contains any possible screw up. Also, over 95% of our orders leave our facility in 2-3 business days. Only in unique circumstances would something take longer than that.

Ordered a couple sweatshirts for testing and I'm glad I did... the print quality was very faded and shoddy looking- white print residue spots outside of the design. Very linty and it had hairs on it. I believe I could heat transfer something that would look much better than this. The embroidery on the other sweatshirt was ok in quality but it was only about half of the size of what it showed in the mock-up. Very small. They say on the site the embroidery area for the left breast is 4x4" but this was well under 3 inches. Very significant difference and not what would be expected from the end customer based on the expectations set. I wish I could post pics of my products for reference but I don't see a way to do that. I have emailed customer support and will update when I hear back. Overall, largely disappointed as I was so hoping this service would live up to the hype I'm hearing everywhere..
